A very costly injury in that game as Gillett pulled a hamstring. He'll be out for 4 weeks

April 2, 2011 -

We travel to play Bournemouth today. They are in 7th place. We are slight favorites.

Shane Williams will start for Gillett. The youngster has really shown something in U18 matches and reserve matches. Douniama will start in his usual spot instead of Callum.

6 minutes: Rocky with an interception in their half of the pitch.. a lovely through ball.. Douniama gets to it.. shoots from 18 yards out.. lower left corner.. GOAL!!!! 1-0. That is his 20th in League play.

28 minutes: Bignall takes it down the left side of the pitch.. long cross.. Douniama with a header.. over the bar.

38 minutes: Williams with a nice through ball.. a bit long but Douniama beats the keeper to it.. shoots.. narrow angle.. lower right corner... GOAL!!! 2-0.

41 minutes: Williams to Bignall.. to Rocky.. he shoots.. he sco.. he is called offside.

Halftime: We lead 2-0.

47 minutes: Bignall with a great move to lose his man.. dribbles down the pitch.. into the box.. shoots.. lower left corner.. the keeper with a good save to push it wide.

60 minutes: Tommy has picked up a minor knock. Langmead on for him. Also, Scannell on for Gael.

73 minutes: In the last 10 minutes, Neal has had 3 big saves.

80 minutes: We catch them on the counter.. Langmead with a long clearance to start it.. Bignall chased down the pass.. he centers for Rocky.. he shoots.. lower left corner.. GOAL!!!! 3-0.

92 minutes: CS couldn't resist getting a yellow just before the final whistle for a rough tackle. I wasn't going to renew CS due to his viciousness.. but I think he adds a toughness to the team. I decide to offer him a new deal.

We win the match 3-0.

Douniama with a 8.8, Rocky with a 8.8, Williams with a 8.2, most of the team in the mid 7's, and Smith is low man at 6.8.
