SirFozzie, I'm definitely interested in joining the league once Season 2 starts. I'll keep an eye on the website.

It would be nice to add a bunch of new coaches. That first season is always a key one to get through to prove a league is viable.
I'm just happy the Pac-10 is already so well stocked, although Cal and Oregon are two top programs that are still manned by the computer. Good luck to the F4 participants and go Bug! CR

Are there any WAC teams that are human controlled? I actually haven't played FBCB yet, but after all the great things I've heard about it I would really be interested in picking it up and joining the league...

JeeberD: None as of yet, but that's one of the conferences being considered for "opening up"

JeeberD,
Unfortunately, the ACC and SEC are also under that consideration there, so unless the WAC gets a flood of interest, I would imagine those more premier leagues will get first dibs on new coaches (that's right. not a single ACC or SEC team is under human control). The good news, though, is that several of us big conference coaches (myself, Easy Mac, Alan at UConn, probably a bunch of others), are failing to meet our boards' lofty expectations, and it is entirely likely the WAC could be a destination league for us failed coaches (stupid high expectations...). We all will get at least one more year, though, to turn it around. CR

Wow the SEC and ACC haven't been opened yet? I'm surprised. I could find several teams I'd like to coach in those two conferences.

Cool. I think I'll check out the game in over the next few days, and I'll keep an eye on your league. Hopefully the WAC will open up and maybe I can get shot at coaching my Miners...

Add me to the list of those failing to meet expectations.
Actually, I want to drop down to a lower team soon, so that doesn't bother me. Didn't like starting at the top, lost interest in it this season..so hopefully I lose my job soon. Congrats though to our Final Four coaches! I'm going to be pulling for Balldog because he's a fellow Big Twelve coach. Good luck guys! |

The thing about the ACC/SEC is there wasn't enough interest in the teams. We had a couple for the ACC, but we were trying to get some bigger concentration in as few conferences as possible. I would gladly have taken Duke if enough interest had been shown in the ACC.

Why do you restrict yourselves to particular conferences? I'm not trying to be a tool. I just don't get the logistics because I haven't played FBCB multiplayer.

Pumpy: We wanted a lot of human human matches, and this way, with teams grouped into 5 conferences to start, there was a lot of late season games that counted..
Plus when you get two teams coached by humans in the conference tourney, both of whom are on the bubble...
