Andy Reid, punt, pass, kick?

He was a big boy already back then.

Yeah, it's crazy. The stick of the gloves is what made it look bad. If the guy was bare-handed it would have brushed his helmet with no stick making the helmet turn. Poor Eagles. But lets get Brown the ball so I can get some more points please.

edit: screw that, why is d brown not getting that hand off!? lol

I thought all logic would say to call the timeouts RIGHT away. Make the other coach make a decision on the 3rd down to pass or not. No reason to let 30+ seconds slip away even if they did get a 1st down. Not sure I agree with no timeout there.

Gotta love NFL Game Center:

3-47-OAK 22 (:07) S.Janikowski 96 yard field goal is GOOD, Center-J.Condo, Holder-S.Lechler.

Maybe Lane Kiffin knew what he was doing when he had him attempt a 76 yarder :P

Well got to give it to them. KC wasted a bunch of the chances at the end of the first half and the second half kickoff return really got Oakland started.

What a game today!

Qwest was loud as hell and the Giants came out and stepped on heir throats early. Giants looked like a super bowl team today, be it against an inept Seattle team.l

When I was at Qwest last year for a game against the Bucs I was so surprised how loud that place got. The stadium wasn't even sold out and it was loud. Glad you got to see your team win.

HAHAHAHAHAHA

Dallas uses their last TO to try and stop the clock before the 2 minute warning, then have no timeouts left to challenge on a play that is no doubt overturned by the booth, yet it was before two minutes thanks to the TO called by Dallas.

LOL.

Saw this as well...I saved a screen shot, not sure how to post here

Also, the prior play was a -27 yard pass, according to CBS. Guess that is why they had no choice but to kick the 96 yarder.

Can the rest of the league just put a "W" in the win column for the rest of the year for whoever plays Dallas? This is a collective "screw you" by the whole team and once the team quits it's over.

How does Wade Phillips get up to go to work tomorrow?

I'd guess there are two coaching changes tomorrow...one fired, one resigns.

Coaches just don't get fired in mid season. There have been rumors these guys survive into next season because of the looming lock out.

Normally this is the case

However the Cowboys have a new stadium they need to sell out and the Vikings fans are close to a riot if Chilly isnt gone soon. The Vikings transition would actually be simple as they have a solid candidate on their staff already.

Disclaimer I still dislike Chilly and think he is terrible as a coach however just reading some of the comments after the game puts him in a no win situation. He kicks the FG against New England last week and people would have called him a pussy. Instead he went for it and didnt make it and hes an idiot. Today people are pissed that AP was ignored for much of the game after people bitching about how he is too conservative all week. Hes just in a situation right now where he can only be wrong.

Well, at least we get to see what Stephen McGee looks like the rest of the season right? Might as well see if he can out-Romo Romo (meaning coming from nowhere to being a viable QB option, not choking in every big game imaginable)

If there is a lockout next year do the Cowboys hold onto their high draft pick or is the NFL planning to do what the NHL did and give every team a shot at a lottery? That would just make this entire situation funnier if the impending lockout means they finish out the season with a lame duck head coach and they don't even get a decent draft pick out of it.

Chilly is like George Costanza right now. Except that instead of dragging the World Series trophy behind the car he is dragging Favre behind the car.

It was the seventh of November, and all through the land... The Cowboys and Packers game was at hand. The Cowboys kept sucking, like they usually do... Brandon Jackson says they bit off, more than they could chew. Rodgers kept running, against this crappy D... the Cowboys kept letting him burn their crappy team. The Cowboys barely touched the freaking ball, as far as possessions, the Packers had them all.

Kitna, the veteran, sucks more than McGee. He loves to throw footballs, to the other team... This team is antique, so they say... they can't come off their stances, they can't find their way.

Even with amazing field position, they ruin the play. This is not their night, no this is not their day. It's Lambeau field, and the night is cold. This Dallas Cowboys Football team is growing old. The linemen are aging, and Kitna stinks. Way to let GB better their chances at rings. The Cowboys have lost, again and again. They were pummeled this time, and punched in the chins.
