What are these colored dots for in "The College Years" ?
I've played of bit of FOF 7, although not very well so far.
I just downloaded The College Years. Hoping someone could answer a question, since the help file won't work with Windows 10. On the recruiting page, what are the black, red, blue, and green colored dots (or are they footballs?) for? They are located just to the right of "Worksheet." I suspect they might have something to do with interest level. Thanks! |

As I recall, basically potential interest level / likelihood of attending your university. I recall green being most likely, then blue, then red, then black? But this is almost 20 years ago so I can't remember for sure...

Thanks!
With that info I can probably figure out the specifics after playing for awhile. |

Yeah the idea is green recruits are very attainable, blue a little less so, red even less than that, and black the least attainable. But I wouldn't put too much stock into it honestly, sometimes red or black graded players will be a good fit for your school and not *that* hard to land, so it's really more important to look at their preferred major/distance to home/if they like your coaching staff.

one item to keep in mind - players coded with the black dot/text might be completely unwilling to consider your school (like, frex, if your school doesn't offer the player's preferred major)
they are sometimes just looking for a way better fit, but some of them won't even talk with you |
