Looking to upgrade my machine.

I built my machine back in 1999, Celeron 866 with 1 GB RAM.

Now here is the deal.

I am looking to upgrade to a P4, and I am only looking for the Mobo, Processor, and a GB or 2 of RAM.

Any of you guys know reputable places online?

I am trying to beat my price I got from NewEgg.com

I am hoping to get a P4 3.0

In 1999 I bought all parts locally, minus the processor (RAM, Case, Mobo, everything)

You're not gonna beat the prices at NewEgg from what I looked at, but if you can, I'm very interested in the place as well because I'm looking for the same stuff.

1GB of RAM is a lot.. I don't think you technically need more than 512 now... I could be wrong.

Yeah,

I am looking at

INTEL D865PERL
P4 3.0
2 512MB DDR400

Total cost comes to $510

If anyone knows of anything else cheaper, that can compete, let me know.

you can beat newegg's prices a lot of times at pricewatch.com but it pays to check out any online dealer with resellerratings.com
