Seattle, WA - In an unprecedented, and utterly bizarre act, several NBA rookies gathered today, whipping out their schlongs in unison and urinating on musician Kurt Cobain's grave marker.

As the public display of nudity law was repealed in 2014, no charges will be filed at this time.

2026 Last Stretch

Owen Hunter (No. 1, Chicago) (4.5/5): Owen’s season with the Bulls ended in disappointment. He suffered a strained knee which kept him out for 8 games after the All-Star weekend and this clearly affected his performance. Soon after, he broke his hand and the season was over for the highly-touted rookie. Better luck for Owen Hunter next year hopefully.

50 games played, 7 started, 32 DNPs: 15.4 MPG, 7.7 PPG, 3.3 APG

Averages over 48 mins: 24 PPG, 10.3 APG

Rookie Starter: 34 mins, 21 pts, 9 rebs, 12 assists

Rookie Game MVP

Dan Ertmann (No. 2, Denver) (3/4): Another rookie with a disappointing season. Hopes were high for Dan when he first came to Denver but for whatever reason, he never got the playing time to prove his worth.

54 games played, 0 started, 28 DNPs: 14.7 MPG, 4.7 PPG, 2.8 APG, 1.8 RPG

Averages over 48 mins: 15.3 PPG, 9.1 APG, 5.6 RPG

Rookie Reserve: 15 mins, 4 pts, 2 assists

Travis Elkin (No. 3, Charlotte) (4/5): 5 out of 6 rookie of the month awards for the season. It sure looks like Travis is going to be ROY. It has been a good/great season for Travis and he’s clearly proven to his critics that he’s not too short to play at the 4. Niggling injuries at the tailend of the season resulted in more lost games though.

72 games played, 70 games started, 10 DNPs: 32.9 MPG, 12.4 PPG, 7.7 RPG, 1.8 BPG

Averages over 48 mins: 18.1 PPG, 11.2 RPG, 2.6 BPG

5 x Rookie of the Month

Jeeber D Mack (No. 4, Houston) (2.5/4.5): And D Mack’s trade to Houston appears to have paid off for the young man. D Mack’s minutes went up significantly as he became the 6th man off the bench. The stats aren’t there yet but it looks like Houston is a good fit for him.

Total: 65 games played, 5 started, 14 DNPs: 16.2, 4.9 PPG, 1.3 APG, 3.5 RPG

Houston: 29 games played, 0 started, 0 DNPs: 18.0 MPG, 5.6 PPG, 3.9 RPG

Averages over 48 mins: 14.9 PPG, 10.4 RPG

Rookie Reserve: 12 mins, no notable stats

John Williams (No. 5, Indiana) (3/3.5): John Williams appeared in every game this season, which is really great, considering he’s never had to play a full season before. Indiana will be pleased they pick him and, with luck, John Williams will start next year. He’s proven he can do it too, when his totals for games he’s started this year have been taken into account. 3 more games started during these last few months and John averaged 38 minutes, 9.3 rebounds, 2.3 blocks and 9.3 points.

82 games played, 6 started: 18.6 MPG, 5.9 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 1.1 BPG

Averages over 48 mins: 15.2 PPG, 12.9 RPG, 2.8 BPG

Rookie Starter: 22 mins, 4 pts, 6 rebs

Danny Wilson (No. 8, Seattle) (2/3): And the difference a trade makes. From scrub on the bench to starter for the Seattle Supersonics. Dave Carter took advantage of the opportunity given to him to prove that he can be a center in the NBA. With any luck, he’ll continue his progress into next season.

51 games played, 21 started, 34 DNPs: 18.3 MPG, 3.6 PPG, 4.4 RPG

Seattle: 32 games played, 21 started: 24.6 MPG, 5.1 PPG, 5.8 RPG

Averages over 48 mins: 9.6 PPG, 11.3 RPG

Neuqua Verma (No. 9, New York) (2.5/4.5): Neuq is finally given the chance to prove his worth and the NY Knicks have a decent shooting guard now. 11 starts for the Knicks over the last 2 months and it looks like Neuq has found his new home.

53 games played, 12 started, 27 DNPs: 15.3 MPG, 6.8 PPG, 2.3 RPG

Knicks: 29 games, 11 starts: 22.2 MPG, 10.2 PPG, 3.4 RPG, 1.1 APG

Averages over 48 mins: 22.1 PPG, 7.4 RPG, 2.4 APG

Rob Nielsen (No. 10, New Orleans) (3.5/4.5): Well, Rob’s continued to be consistent in his new home. He’s played hard each night and rumours are that he parties hard too. If he progresses as anticipated, Rob should be a dominating presence for the Hornets on both ends of the floor.

73 games played, 7 started, 7 DNPs: 20.5 MPG, 8.1 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 1.0 SPG, 0.9 BPG

New Orleans: 29 games played, 0 starts: 19.3 MPG, 8.1 PPG, 4.6 RPG

Averages over 48 mins: 20.1 PPG, 11.4 RPG

Rookie Starter: 29 mins, 10-20 FG, 20 pts, 9 rebs

Tim Moungey (No. 16, Memphis) (2/3.5): And Tim ended up on the IR as the season came to a close. A bad back injury meant that Tim would play little more after the all-star break. Better luck next year for the rookie.

51 games played, 0 started, 32 DNPs: 13.1 MPG, 3.0 PPG, 2.1 APG

Averages over 48 mins: 11.0 PPG, 7.7 APG

AJ Tucker (No. 18, Washington) (2.5/3.5): A disappointing season overall for the No. 18 Draft Pick as he never really seemed to find the right rhythm. AJ probably has some potential to be a scorer because he would theoretically average 16 points per game over 48 minutes. The question is whether he will get a chance to show that ability.

48 games played, 0 started, 34 DNPs: 9.6 MPG, 3.2 PPG, 1.3 RPG

Averages over 48 mins: 16.0 PPG, 6.5 RPG

Zippo (No. 19, Minnesota) (2.5/3): And the season draws to a close for Zippo. To be fair to the young man, he’s developed his game over this season and he could be a budget starting PG if necessary for another team.

57 games played, 3 started, 25 DNPs: 8.1 MPG, 2.0 PPG, 1.0 APG, 1.0 RPG

Averages over 48 mins: 11.9 PPG, 5.9 APG, 5.9 RPG

Mike Tokunaga (No. 26, Boston): Mike was going to Toronto but it never happened. Hours before the trade took place, Justin King of the Raptors was arrested on allegations of drug possession and trafficking. While these charges were eventually dropped, the Celtics pulled the plug on the trade and Mike remained in Boston, stuck on the bench.

46 games played, 0 started, 36 DNP: 7.0 MPG, 1.7 PPG

Averages over 48 mins: 11.7 PPG

Overall Summary for 2026:

Well, it’s been a disappointing season by and large for the 2026 rookies. For some players, it was the decision by their coaches not to play them (Owen Hunter, Dan Ertmann) while others were stuck on the bench because of bad draft night decisions (Danny Wilson, Jeeber D Mack, Neuqua).

The best rookie was, without doubt, Travis Elkin, who was a real beast at the 4 for the Bobcats. Rob Nielsen showed flashes of ability but there are concerns over his temperament. John Williams also looks like a solid player for the years to come.

On the other hand, some players already look as if their career isn’t going to be too long. AJ, Mike, Zippo and Tim did not perform like first round draft picks this year. If their game doesn’t pick up, their time may be up.

Rookie Playoff Time a.k.a Tim Moungey's stats

Playoff Summary:

4 rookies made it to the play-off with their teams. Owen Hunter with the Bulls, Mike Tokunaga with the Celtics, Tim Moungey with the Grizzlies and Zippo with the Timberwolves.

First Round:

The Bulls suffered a humiliating first-round exit. The No. 2 seeds in the Eastern conference blew a 3-0 lead against the No. 7 seeds, the Milwaukee Bucks. Owen Hunter did not play in any of the games as a result of his injury.

The Celtics beat the Pistons in 7 games. A very tight low scoring series saw the Pistons take a 2-1 lead before losing 4-3 to the Celtics.

Tim Moungey (away team listed first):

Game 1: Pistons 94 – Celtics 91: 8 mins, 2 pts, 3 assists

Game 2: Pistons 88 – Celtics 94: 3 mins, 3 pts, 1 assist

Game 3: Celtics 66 – Pistons 82: 3 mins, no stats

Game 4: Celtics 92 – Pistons 89: DNP

Game 5: Pistons 76 – Celtics 107: 2 mins, 1 assist

Game 6: Celtics 89 – Pistons 92: 3 mins, 5 pts, 1 assist

Game 7: Pistons 76 – Celtics 87: DNP

The Grizzlies got blown out 4-1 by the Mavericks, who are one of the best teams in the league. Tim did not play because he was on the IR.

The Timberwolves were also beaten easily by the Kings 4-1. Zippo had 3 DNPs and when he did get on the court, he didn’t do anything noteworthy.

Second Round:

And the Celtics nearly pulled off another comeback against the Nets. Down 3-1, the Celtics rallied to make it a 3-3 series before losing the 7th game.

Tim Moungey:

Game 1: Celtics 82 – Nets 103: 5 mins, 4 pts, 1 assist

Game 2: Celtics 79 – Nets 110: 5 mins, 2 pts, 1 assist, 1 steal

Game 3: Nets 95 – Celtics 99: 3 mins, 1 assist

Game 4: Nets 105 – Celtics 74: 8 mins, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal

Game 5: Celtics 90 – Nets 88: 2 mins, no stats

Game 6: Nets 89 – Celtics 99: 5 mins, 2 rebounds

Game 7: Celtics 81 – Nets 115: 8 mins, 5 pts, 4 rebs, 1 assist

End of Season Summary:

And protests rang out as Travis Elkin did NOT win the Rookie of the Year award. There was absolutely no justification for it. The winner was Tagulani Kaseme of the Utah Jazz who was the 15th pick. Here’s a comparison of their stats.

Travis Elkin: 32.9 MPG, 12.2 PPG, 7.7 RPG, 1.8 BPG

Tagulani Kaseme: 31.0 MPG, 8.2 PPG, 7.5 RPG, 1.6 BPG

Don’t get us wrong, for a 15th round pick, Tagulani did well. But there’s no reason for him to be picked over Travis Elkin. Suspicions abound that Tagulani won the award because he was a migrant from South Africa who did well in the US, one of those feel-good stories the NBA is trying to promote.

All-Rookie First Team:

PG Owen Hunter

SF Rob Nielsen

PF Travis Elkin

All-Rookie Second Team:

SG Neuqua

C John Williams

2027 Selected Draft Recap:

Just to take a quick look to see if any of our players’ positions are in trouble after the 2027 draft:

New York, Madison Square Garden

New Jersey

Charlotte picked SF Jemal Goyman

Denver picked C AJ Brown

New York picked PG Rod Richeson

Indiana picked PG Patrick Stacey

New Orleans picked SG Jerry Casper

Washington picked SG Lawrence Franklin

Memphis picked SG Leo Holtz

Minnesota picked SF Charles Lucius

Boston picked SG Aaron Davis

Chicago picked SF Reggie Williams.

Looks like our players’ positions are not under immediate threat as none of their teams picked a player that played the exact same position. Having said that however, the player that looks like he’s in biggest trouble is AJ Tucker of Washington, which picked SG Lawrence Franklin, yet another wing player to take minutes from him.

2027 Summer League:

Owen Hunter and Travis Elkin both did not play in the Summer League this year. It was expected for Travis, already an established starter for the Bobcats. But for Owen Hunter, could this mean a starting spot when the season starts?

Dan Ertmann: 24.2 PPG, 4.4 APG, 6.1 RPG

Jeeber D Mack: 12.9 PPG, 4.3 APG, 8.6 RPG

John Williams: 16.1 PPG, 4.6 APG, 10.2 RPG, 2.1 BPG

Danny Wilson: 24.4 PPG, 1.1 APG, 7.4 RPG

Neuqua: 23.4 PPG, 3.8 APG, 4.7 RPG

Rob Nielsen: 25.3 PPG, 4.6 APG, 7.4 RPG, 1.0 SPG, 1.6 BPG, MVP

Tim Moungey: 16.1 PP, 4.7 APG

AJ Tucker: 21.3 PPG, 2.0 APG, 5.8 RPG (compared to Lawrence Franklin’s 21.2 PPG, 2.2 APG, 7.1 RPG)

Zippo: 17.7 PPG, 5.8 APG, 6.0 RPG

Mike Tokunaga: 5.4 PPG, 9.3 APG, 4.5 RPG, 2.2 SPG, Assists Leader

2027 Start of Season

2027 Start of Season:

Owen Hunter, PG, New York, Madison Square Garden

New Jersey

Dan Ertmann, PG, Denver (3/4): Dan has fallen further down the depth chart this year. He’s No. 9 on the chart and is slated to be the 3rd guard to come off the bench. Will this be enough to force Dan to make a trade request? One NBA scout rates Dan this way:

“Good shooter from range (8/10), great defender (8/10), solid ball handler who will take care of the rock (7/10). But he’s got no inside game (1/10) and for a PG, he’s got poor passing ability (4/10). Dan is the typical SG trapped in a PG’s body. Think Allen Iverson from some years back”.

Travis Elkin, PF, Charlotte (4.5/5): The Rookie of the Year that wasn’t. Travis is likely to be out to prove he deserved that title by playing harder this year. Watch out for the games between Utah and Charlotte this year. Travis is described as a scorer (8/10). He’s not great at anything else really but he’s not bad at anything either. Simply put, Travis gets it done.

Jeeber D Mack, PF, Houston, (2.5/4.5): D Mack is the 6th man on the Supersonics team at the start of the season. The potential is there clearly and the increased playing time may see that develop. However, there’s a lot of work to be done because D Mack is a poor handler of the ball (1/10), passer (1/10), shot blocker (1/10) and free throw shooter (2/10). What he does have right now is a polished inside game (6/10), which is rare for a young big man.

John Williams, C, Indiana (3/3.5): Big John is not starting again, still playing behind James Denson (3/3). Still, being the first big man off the bench will still enable Big John to get plenty of playing time. Here’s a young big man that doesn’t excel at anything but doesn’t suck too badly either.

Danny Wilson, C, Seattle (2/3): Hopes were high Danny would get more playing time this year. Instead, a lackluster off-season has landed Danny the No. 11 spot on the depth chart. For what it’s worth though, Danny is the first Centre of the bench. Hopefully that will translate into some minutes. Another big man who’s not outstanding at any facet of the game but really poor at some aspects, as evidenced by his lack of range for shooting (1/10) and inability to steal the ball (1/10).

Neuqua, SG, New York (3/4.5): Neuqua is the 3rd SG on the Knicks team, a position he probably doesn’t deserve. He’s just as good as the other 2 guards, Jake Holland (2nd year) and Wendel Woods (7th year). It’s probably the lack of experience that’s holding Neuq back. Having said that, Neuq’s upside is phenomenal and if he continues developing, expect a starting spot before the season ends. Neuq is a player who will open the floor for his teammates because his outside shooting has to be respected (7/10).

Rob Nielsen, SF, New Orleans (3.5/4.5): The summer league MVP has parlayed that award into the starting small forward spot in New Orleans. He’s better than the players behind him on the depth chart though so things look good for Rob. Rob’s disciplined play-style (7/10), ability to anticipate the passing lanes (7/10), solid free throw shooting (7/10) and shooting range (8/10) will enable Rob to put up some fancy stats this year.

Tim Moungey, PG, Memphis (2/3.5): Tim is stuck on the bench again this year. On paper, he’s the first PG off the bench. However, the fact that the Grizzlies starting PG, SG and SF all have the ability to play the point may make minutes hard to come by for Tim. Having said that, Tim has the potential to be a starter for other teams because he’s a good long-range shooter (8/10), solid ball handler (6/10) and good defender (7/10 for defense and steals).

AJ Tucker, SF, Washington (2/3.5): AJ is the third SF off the bench. This should be an interesting season for the young gunner because he has the potential. The question is whether he can achieve it by sitting on the bench. AJ is a decent long-range shooter and free-throw shooter (6/10).

Zippo, PG, Minnesota (2.5/3): Will this kid get his attitude right this year? That’s the question. Zippo is still the third guard off the bench, although he’ll be given the opportunity to play some off-guard as well. That may not be a bad thing because he’s a good shooter (7/10) who can knock down free throws (8/10), as well as handle the ball adequately (6/10).

Mike Tokunaga, PG, Boston (2/2.5): He’s shown he can pass the ball. What he hasn’t obtained is his coach’s faith. Mike is the 3rd PG on the Celtics roster and he’ll hope that he can get some minutes this year. Quite frankly, he’s got the makings of a fine PG, as evidenced by his passing ability (7/10), shooting ability (7/10) and the ability to get steals (9/10).

Minnesota Tribune:

The T-wolves traded for AJ Tucker of the Washington Wizards just before the season started. The T-wolves first round pick, Charles Lucius, and their 2028 2nd round draft pick went to the Wizards.

The T-wolves get a young player that is widely regarded to have significant upside. Questions abound as to why Charles Lucius was sent packing so early in his career and an unnamed source stated that Charles simply wasn't a good fit in terms of chemistry for the T-wolves.

2027 Month 1

Owen Hunter (No. 1, New York, Madison Square Garden

New Jersey

12 games played, 12 started: 37.8 MPG, 19.1 PPG, 6.0 APG, 4.9 RPG, 1.2 SPG

Dan Ertmann (No. 2, Denver): Wow, Dan’s Denver days look numbered. He’s only played 6 games and exceedingly limited minutes in those games. Something’s got to change soon.

6 games played, 0 started: 2.8 MPG, 1.7 PPG

Travis Elkin (No. 3, Charlotte): Travis continues with his workmanlike performances for the Bobcats. He’s rock-solid and provides strength and stability for the Bobcats on both ends of the floor. He could probably improve on his rebounding and scoring however.

12 games played, 12 games started: 31.0 MPG, 13.0 PPG, 2.3 APG, 6.6 RPG, 1.2 SPG, 2.0 BPG

Jeeber D Mack (No. 4, Houston): D Mack continues to be given the opportunity to develop by playing minutes on the floor. He’s done as well as can be expected so far this season by playing significant minutes for the Rockets. His offence has to improve though if he wants to start in the league.

13 games played, 1 started: 26.0 MPG, 5.5 PPG, 1.9 APG, 6.6 RPG

John Williams (No. 5, Indiana): Big John is having a steady season. He’s appeared in all games for the Pacers in the first month and has had the opportunity to start the last 2 games.

11 games played, 2 started: 26.5 MPG, 7.5 PPG, 8.3 RPG, 1.8 BPG

Danny Wilson (No. 8, Seattle): Well, irrespective of the fact that Danny is, theoretically, the 11th man on the depth chart, his playing time indicates otherwise. Danny is being given every opportunity to prove himself and it’s up to him to seize them.

15 games played, 0 started: 18.1 MPG, 4.3 PPG, 4.2 RPG

Neuqua Verma (No. 9, New York): Hm, another bad fit for Neuqua for a 2nd season in a row? Neuqua’s playing time had dropped a lot this season again. Hopefully things will pick up as the season progresses.

10 games played, 0 started: 8.8 MPG, 2.3 PPG, 1.0 APG, 1.5 RPG

Rob Nielsen (No. 10, New Orleans): Rob is playing well while rotating between the 3 and 4 for the Hornets. He’s taken advantage of his starting spot to show the league he’s a versatile player who will do what it takes to help his team win. Rob looks to be one of those players that can push a good team to becoming championship contenders.

14 games played, 14 started: 33.7 MPG, 13.6 PPG, 2.1 APG, 7.9 RPG, 1.1 BPG

Tim Moungey (No. 16, Memphis): Tim Moungey has slid to the 12th slot on the depth chart. However, he’s still being given an opportunity to play regularly, which indicates that the team hasn’t given up on him yet.

11 games played, 0 started: 12.2 MPG, 1.5 PPG, 2.3 APG, 1.1 RPG

AJ Tucker (No. 18, Minnesota): AJ has been able to get regular minutes now as the first SF off the bench for the T-wolves. His production hasn’t been phenomenal yet but there’s a chance that he’ll develop into a decent starter in time.

12 games played, 0 started: 18.1 MPG, 4.8 PPG, 1.3 APG, 2.4 RPG

Zippo (No. 19, Minnesota): AJ’s teammate hasn’t been as lucky. Zippo’s still stuck behind two veteran PGs and so playing time has been scarce for the 2nd year player. While he enjoys hanging out with AJ, it may be time for Zippo to look for a new team.

13 games played, 0 started: 6.1 MPG, 1.5 PPG

Mike Tokunaga (No. 20, Boston): Still looking for an opportunity to prove himself in Boston, MT must be upset that the trade to Toronto didn’t take place last year.

7 games played, 0 started: 4.1 MPG, 1.1 PPG

My minutes are dropping and so is my official place on the bench. If the Grizzlies don't start playing me more often and giving me the occasional start, I'm going to request a trade to someplace that *will* start me.

2027 Month 2

Owen Hunter (No. 1, New York, Madison Square Garden

New Jersey

24 games played, 22 started: 25.3 MPG, 17.9 PPG, 5.9 APG, 4.8 RPG, 1.0 SPG

Dan Ertmann (No. 2, Denver): Unlucky Dan. Just as he won the starting spot for 5 games, he goes down with a sprained toe. 10 days out and Dan will be hoping he gets his spot back when he returns to the line-up. His stats for the 5-game stretch? 32.8 MPG, 7.2 APG, 8.6 PPG, though he only shot 15-43 (34.9%) during that stretch.

17 games played, 5 started: 14.6 MPG, 4.8 PPG, 3.0 APG, 1.4 RPG

Travis Elkin (No. 3, Charlotte): Travis continues to make Charlotte glad they picked him at the No. 3 spot in the 2026 draft. He looks like he’ll be able to man the 4 for a long time to come.

26 games played, 26 games started: 33.63 MPG, 14.5 PPG, 3.1 APG, 8.2 RPG, 1.5 SPG, 2.2 BPG

Jeeber D Mack (No. 4, Houston): D Mack continues to play consistently, which bodes well for him. It’s true that sometimes players just need to be given a chance.

25 games played, 1 started: 21.2 MPG, 5.1 PPG, 5.1 RPG

John Williams (No. 5, Indiana): Another unlucky player who suffered an injury after winning the starting spot. 11 games he started before breaking his big toe in the opening minutes of the 11th game. What’s worse for Indiana is that the other centre, James Denson, is also injured. For the 10 games Big John played as a starter before getting injured, he averaged 33 MPG, 11.2 RPG, 2.6 BPG and 8.2 PPG.

24 games played, 13 started: 27.6 MPG, 7.2 PPG, 8.8 RPG, 2.0 BPG

Danny Wilson (No. 8, Seattle): Danny’s minutes are starting to drop and he’s been placed as No. 12 on the depth chart. Still, Danny is slated to play at the 3, 4 and 5 so there will be some opportunity to play.

22 games played, 0 started: 14.0 MPG, 3.3 PPG, 1.3 APG, 3.3 RPG

Neuqua Verma (No. 9, New York): Neuqua’s playing time has picked up marginally. However, his position is precarious as he’s No. 11 on the depth chart. The thing is, he’s not a bad player, it’s just that the coach doesn’t like him.

22 games played, 0 started: 10.4 MPG, 3.7 PPG, 1.6 RPG

Rob Nielsen (No. 10, New Orleans): Rob continues to put up decent numbers across the board as the do-everything guy for the Hornets. He did miss 7 games though because of a strained hamstring.

23 games played, 23 started: 33.0 MPG, 12.9 PPG, 7.2 RPG, 2.0 APG, 1.0 SPG, 1.1 BPG

Tim Moungey (No. 16, Memphis): Tim is still stuck in the same position of playing garbage minutes for the Grizzlies. Indications from his agent is that he’s looking for a new home and he may be justified in doing so because he has the potential.

25 games played, 0 started: 12.0 MPG, 1.7 PPG, 2.3 APG

AJ Tucker (No. 18, Minnesota): Well, AJ is having a mini-renaissance here in Minnesota. That’s before he was injured for 12 days with back spasms after a night out. Still, AJ is in a completely different position from where he was before because he’s actually getting to play regularly.

22 games played, 0 started: 18.3 MPG, 5.1 PPG, 1.1 APG, 3.1 RPG

Zippo (No. 19, Minnesota): Zippo continues to languish on the bench as he wonders why his talent isn’t being appreciated more. Will he stay or is he going to ask for a trade?

22 games played, 0 started: 4.8 MPG, 1.1 PPG, 1.4 APG, 1.1 RPG

Mike Tokunaga (No. 26, Boston): Mike’s slowly losing ground and there are suspicions he may be placed on the IR soon because he’s “injured”.

9 games played, 0 started: 5.2 MPG, 1.6 PPG

Garbage time only? That's it... I want out of Memphis! Get me somewhere where I have a decent shot of starting or at bare minimum, being a top bench player.

Yeah, I have no idea why the formatting doesn't work on Mozilla (I use that at home). This is what I'm doing right now. I type it out on Word, then post it on IE in the office. Anyone have any ideas how to get around this?

And Tim Moungey's trade request has been noted.

NBA.Com Trade Review:

Washington Wizards trade Rookie SG Lawrence Franklin to the Memphis Grizzlies for 2nd year PG Tim Moungey.

This trade made sense for both teams. The Wizards desperately needed youth in their backcourt and Tim Moungey provides that. The Wizards may be starting a 5-time All-Star in Erik Kincaide (5/5) but he's been in the league for 14 years already and is likely to retire in the near future. Starting SG Al Bullock (2.5/2.5) is also a 14-year vet and would not even be starting on most other teams. Tim Moungey (2/3.5) will likely play significant minutes at both guard spots as a reserve or he may even start at the 2 if he's lucky.

For the Grizzlies, they get a young SG in an already crowded backcourt. However, the Grizzlies are hoping that the young SG will develop over time and it gives them another asset to play around with. This was probably better than letting Tim Moungey leave as a free agent in a couple of years.

2027 Month 3

Owen Hunter, PG, Chicago: Owen continues to play at a high level as the starting PG for Chicago. He's proven to be a player that can score when necessary as well as distribute the rock. He leads the Bulls in both scoring and assists.

32 GP, 29 GS: 34.8 MPG, 17.3 PPG, 6.0 APG, 4.8 RPG, 1.2 SPG

Dan Ertmann, PG, Denveran is steadily improving and he's been given the task of running the team for the past month. It's clear Dan is up to the task. Having said that however, Dan's numbers haven't been great, even as a starter. He looks to be a steady cog in a team rather than a star.

26 GP, 11 GS: 18.2 MPG, 5.3 PPG, 3.3. APG, 1.7 RPG

Travis Elkin, PF, Charlotte: Travis is, quite clearly the Bobcats best player. He leads the team in points, rebounds and blocks. However, Travis recently came down with a strained knee, which has caused him to miss the last 2 games and will likely miss at least a couple more.

38GP, 38 GS: 33.1 MPG, 13.1 PPG, 8.0 RPG, 3.1 APG, 2.1 BPG, 1.2 SPG

Jeeber D Mack, PF, Houston:The young big man continues to play solid minutes off the bench for the Rockets. There are hopes that D Mack will continue his development and there is a real possibility he can average a double-double if that happens.

38 GP, 1 GS: 19.4 MPG, 4.4 PPG, 4.4 RPG, 1.3 APG

John Williams, C, Indiana: John is still recovering from his injury and looks to be out for at least another half month.

24 GP, 13 GS: 27.6 MPG, 7.3 PPG, 8.8 RPG, 2.0 BPG

Danny Wilson, PF, Seattle: Danny Wilson is being given every opportunity to contribute. His numbers aren't outstanding yet and he'll probably never be a great scorer in the league, but he at least looks like he has a future as a role-player on a team's bench.

33 GP, 0 GS: 15.7 MPG, 3.8 PPG, 4.1 RPG, 1.5 APG

Neuqua, SG, New York: Neuqua continues to struggle in his sophomore season. His minutes have dropped dramatically since he was traded to the Knicks (22.9 MPG compared to 10.9 MPG). This really is because the Knicks picked up Wendel Woods during Free Agency, who signed a 4 year contract with the Knicks. It'll be interesting to see if Neuqua can develop a little more and outplay Wendel.

28 GP, 1 GS: 10.9 MPG, 3.7 PPG, 1.8 RPG

Rob Nielsen, SF, New Orleans: Rob continues to put up numbers across the board for the Hornets. He's No. 2 in scoring and steals on the team while he's No. 3 in rebounding. Rob isn't the flashiest player on the court but he plays his role to perfection.

35 GP, 35 GS: 34.1 MPG, 14.4 PPG, 7.5 RPG, 1.8 APG, 1.3 SPG, 1.1 BPG

Tim Moungey, PG, Washington: Don't let Tim's numbers fool you. Since he's joined the Wizards, he's been averaging around 20 minutes a game and he's played decently for his new team. Most of his minutes have come at the 2 but at least he's getting a chance now.

38 GP, 0 GS: 15.6 MPG, 2.9 PPG, 2.8 APG, 1.8 RPG

AJ Hunter, SF, Minnesota:AJ is playing a lot more minutes than last season and he's slowly taking advantage of that. His numbers aren't gaudy but he's a proven contributor off the bench and can spell the starters when they're rested.

34 GP, 0 GS: 15.8 MPG, 4.4 PPG, 2.9 RPG, 1.1 APG

Zippo, PG, Minnesota: Zippo on the other hand is slowly being frozen out of the T-wolves line up. He's strictly garbage-time right now.

28 GP, 0 GS: 5.5 MPG, 1.0 MPG

Mike Tokunaga, PG, Boston: Mike continues to struggle in Boston and isn't finding much playing time at all. Something will probably have to change, whether it's a trade or MT playing out his contract then leaving as a FA.

13 GP, 0 GS: 4.5 MPG, 1.6 PPG

All-Star Break update:

Owen Hunter was selected to play in the Long-Distance Shootout. In the first round, Owen managed 13 points and this was good enough to reach the finals. However, Owen again managed only 13 points in the finals, which was only good for third. Detroit's Marquise Mansell and Miami's John Hurd came in first and second respectively with 21 and 16 points.

6 members of the class of 2026 played in the Rookie-Sophomore game, which the Rooks won 105-102. Travis (15 points, 11 rebs), John (4pt, 4 rebs) and Owen (18 pts, 9 assists) started, while Dan (9 pts), AJ (5 pts) and Jeeber D Mack (7 pts, 6 rebs) were on the bench for the Sophs. One notable absence from the Soph's team was Rob Nielsen, who was injured just before the All-Star festivities.

A minor trade took place before the trade deadline earlier today as the San Antonio Spurs traded Marquise Burk, PG, to the Boston Celtics for PG Mike Tokunaga and a 2nd round draft pick. This trade was meant to give both players a new environment to operate in and shouldn't affect either team too much overall.

2027 End of Regular Season

Owen Hunter, PG, Chicago: In his first full season as a starter, Owen proved to be a bona-fide playmaker. He's what you look for in your PG, a good shooter and scorer, a willingness to pass the ball and a strong defender. The only liability Owen has is the fact that he gets hurt way too easily. He's missed 27 games this year through injuries alone and he'll miss the start of the play-offs for the Bulls (56-26) with a broken nose. Owen led the Bulls in Points and Assists.

55 GP, 50 GS: 34.9 MPG, 18.0 PPG, 6.6 APG, 5.9 RPG, 1.2 SPG
Sophomore starter
Long Distance Shootout Finalist

Dan Ertmann, PG, Denver: Dan failed to retain his starting spot after his injury. He still played slightly more minutes than last year but he's bound to grow discontent if he doesn't get to start soon. Dan's developed into a player with a smooth outside shot and a great defender. The thing holding him back is his passing, which would be sub-par even for a forward. Denver failed to make the play-offs this year (31-51) so no post-season experience for Dan again.

52 GP, 14 GS: 17.7 MPG, 5.7 PPG, 3.3 APG, 1.7 RPG
Sophomore reserve

Travis Elkin, PF, Charlotte: Travis continues to be solid for the Bobcats. But there are now some doubts in Charlotte whether Travis can be the focal point of the team, considering Charlotte failed to make the play-offs with an abysmal 21-61 record. Is Travis the quintessential good player on a bad team? Irregardless, Travis led the team in Points, Rebounds and Blocks.

75 GP, 75 GS: 33.6 MPG, 12.9 PPG, 2.9 APG, 8.7 RPG, 1.1 APG, 2.3 BPG
Sophomore Starter

Jeeber D Mack, PF, Houston: D Mack is a kid with a lot of potential (3/4.5) and hopes are high that he's progressing in the right manner. He's been given regular playing time and he's been relatively solid. D Mack looks like a player that may be able to average a double-double in the future though. Houston (33-49) failed to make the play-offs.

76 GP, 4 GS: 19.0 MPG, 4.8 PPG, 1.5 APG, 4.3 RPG
Sophomore Reserve

John Williams, C, Indiana: And the Big John era may have arrived in Indiana. John Williams closed out the season as the started at the 5 for the Pacers and he hasn't disappointed by playing well. His numbers won't jump out at you but the Pacers fans appreciate what they have in their 7-5 monster, who led the team in Rebounds and Blocks. The Pacers (19-64) really sucked though.

58 GP, 46 GS: 29.4 MPG, 8.3 PPG, 8.4 RPG, 1.4 APG, 1.7 BPG
Sophomore Reserve

Danny Wilson, C, Seattle: Danny's PT this year took a dip from last season (13.4 MPG compared to 24.6 MPG). It could be a sign of disappointment from the Sonics coaching staff that Danny hasn't made much progress yet (2/3). It's still early for the big man though so it wouldn't be prudent to write him off yet. The Sonics (36-46) did not make the playoffs this year.

61 GP, 0 GS: 13.4 MPG, 2.9 PPG, 3.7 RPG, 1.4 APG

Neuqua, SG, New York: Neuqua did not play as much this year as he might have liked for the Knicks. He has potential and he's still well regarded by most scouts, who feel that he is something special. It's just that Neuqua hasn't quite hit all cylinders yet. Hopefully he will soon. The Knicks (37-45) just missed out on a play-off spot, one game behind the Celtics.

68 GP, 1 GS: 11.1 MPG, 4.1 PPG, 1.8 RPG

Rob Nielsen, SF, New Orleans: And Rob Nielsen has now established himself as one of the better SF's in the league. He's played well for the Hornets and has developed well (4/4.5). It looks like Rob is one of the potential All-Stars in the class of 2026. The Hornets (36-46) did not make the play-offs though.

67 GP, 67 GS: 35.4 MPG, 15.0 PPG, 7.3 RPG, 1.8 APG, 1.5 SPG, 1.2 BPG

Tim Moungey, PG, Washington: The trade to Washington has rejuvenated Tim's career, at least temporarily. He has had the opportunity to start at last in the NBA and he's proven to be a capable starter. Washington managed to make the play-offs as the 7 seed in the East.

79 GP, 16 GS: 22.0 MPG, 4.9 PPG, 4.1 APG, 2.5 RPG, 1.0 SPG

AJ Tucker, SF, Minnesota: Oddly enough, AJ was placed into the coach's doghouse after the All-Star break. Considering the other 2 forwards in front of him on the depth chart are not better than him, there may be more to this story that what has been released to the press. The T-wolves (38-44) did not make the playoffs.

48 GP, 0 GS: 12.4 MPG, 3.4 PPG, 2.3 RPG

Zippo, PG, Minnesota: Things were not much better for Zippo. His minutes continued to drop and he was placed on the IR near the end of the season. To be fair, he was injured with a sore hamstring but still, this could be the end of Zippo's time in Minnesota.

41 GP, 0 GS: 5.8 MPG, 1.1 PPG

Mike Tokunaga, PG, San Antonio: Well, the trade to San Antonio hasn't done much for MT. He only played 7 games for the Spurs and limited minutes in those games means he didn't get to show much.

23 GP, 0 GS: 4.6 MPG, 1.2 PPG, 1.0 APG
