You have encountered a roadblock on the way to WotC HQ. Roll a d20.

Well I'm back! Just got back from the airport about ten minutes ago.

They put me up in this swank suite with a full kitchen and I don't know why - just there the one night.

I cannot talk about most of the stuff that happened, I had to sign many NDAs. Sorry. But it was a little bit more than just bringing me up to say hi, but a little bit less than the theory about me writing a nice article. Nothing life changing is behind the magic NDA.

It was a blast to meet basically everybody and see the behind the scenes stuff. They had lunch with me in a special room, I answered a lot of their questions about me as a fan and what changes I would make. The highlight of my day was playing a four person multiplayer game against Aaron Forsythe, Mark Rosewater and Mark Gottlieb. That was very surreal. I came in second behind Gottlieb. That was just staggering.

A lot of people complimented one for more of my recent articles, so it appears that many keep up with a wide variety of articles written. In fact, on Thursday, I published an article about a Crap Cube that I had just built, but I had to use better cards for shatter and Stream of Life because I didn't have a copy of those bad cards. Well, someone handed me a foil Shatter and Unlimited Stream of Life when I came in. That was cool. Some knew that Selesnya was my favorite guild, because about six weeks ago, I published an article on SCG called Why Selesnya is my Favorite Guild.

One thing I can talk about was that at the end of the day, because I had missed the Return to Ravnica pre-release, we opened up product and did a mini prerelease with seven of us. That was really cool too.

It was an absolute blast.

Okay, I gotta go write a thank you card. See you in a few.
