And I apologize for taking over the thread. But just noticed this and wanted to bring it up again. Still concerned that EVERY human team has a D- ranking at every position playing style.
Something in the records isnt working right...

Very disappointing outcome. I had 3 main targets, two of which I led by >1k on going into signing day, and only got one of them. Nebraska committed all 10k of its allotment on a fullback we were fighting over. I lost another guy that I had a >5k lead on -- by more than 5k!!! That's just nuts.

All in all, I had a pretty good recruiting year, except for my OL. I got one T who will play in a couple of years and a C that might get some time, but not much else.

I'd say the 4th overall recruiting class is nothing to sniff at.

2018 Recruiting Results

4 Duke
7 USC
17 South Florida
28 Indiana
40 Buffalo
46 Florida Atlantic
65 UTSA

As always, I recommend doing these in game. Blah blah blah, Kodos.

Position changes complete, Frederick turns into a 79 OVR QB as a true freshman, and as bad as I want to red shirt him, I am afraid he would leave if I did. He'll play a little backup RB and WR this year, but probably won't see the field much. Just wouldn't be fair to my returning starter, who should be a Heisman candidate. Probably not a front runner unless I cut down on picks, but we will see. Excited to see Punter turned RB Jim Fry get some significant playing time this year, he looks to be our third RB and should make a great speed back. He'll probably get as many touches as Burley got last year in the run game while we give our top RB the screen pass package that Burley was part of laat year. Tommy Collins will get a good deal of carries this year too as he prepares to take over the top RB spot next year.

We won't be recruiting OL, but we'll be going hard after defense and maybe WR this year. We need to fill some significant holes or we'll be in trouble after this season. Our CB spot looks to be a weakness barring an exceptional training period.

Just a reminder if you had players get shuffled up in the conversion this is your chance to get them back where they belong. I was just about to flag that 42FS for cutting when I realized he was 325lbs...

Yeah, I moved my big ass 4th string RB back to the O-line. He was happy about that.

Did all of my position changes:

Stewart could start as an 82 CB, 81 HB, or 80 WR. Kid has special talents

Very happy with how my team is shaping up, although we will have to work hard to ease our new QB's into the flow.

I'm treating this season as our best window to get a championship. Now that your asshole QB is history.

Grin. I think it will be very tough for us to win it all this year. I think we will likely be more of a run first, tough defense team, but we will see. Our secondary is going to be outrageously good and our front 7 will be very good although depth will be a concern. Our RB are going to be stud type players and I will rely on them much more than last year.

Thanks guys, it's rolling with the punches as this year has been the year of family issues.

My 91 yr old grandfather (Remember my Grandma who passed in February, they are a couple) is deteriorating and is going down hill, I am laying over in Utah to say goodbye to him, he will probably pass when I am out of country for work and I will be barely making it back to Utah for his funeral.

Nope, I am logging in to do that right now. Laptop died on me this weekend and I had to buy a new one. Just getting situated and working on this right now.

I went against my own advice and only did position changes on the site. Training results show players in their old positions.... Hopefully this resolves itself later.

Just looked at results on the website. A few thoughts...

Lawrence Gilmore took a HUGE jump in ratings at QB. He looks like has the potential to be almost as good as Thurman and pass him up by the end of his career. Definitely, makes me rethink my offensive plans...

Then again, I have a 98 and 97 HB who should complement each really well...

FB Ian Harrison is very fast for a 240 pound back...

No star WR but the group as a whole is the best it has been in years...

We have 3 very good TE's.

Best offensive line I have ever had. Very excited about this offenses potential...

Our Front 7 is weak at DE but otherwise strong.

Our star CB took a huge leap. We have a 94 and 91 cb starting with our super freshman getting pt at nb.

All 4 safeties took a huge leap up and are all rated 90 or over with Hester leading the group with a 95 overall.

Very very excited to get this team on the field and see them perform!

Excited about our QB/RB/FB/TE combo, and ready to see what our speedy LB corps can do. Our backup SS made a 9 point jump, which gives us hope for next year at that position.

Weakest link has to be CB, where our best is an 80 OVR. We'll have to shuffle a lot at that spot to try and maximize specific talents.

This team is probably the strongest offensive team I have had the pleasure of working with, led by a QB who will hopefully finish his career as a first round pick. I am hoping our RB/FB/TE join him in the high rounds.

Now I am off to build an entirely new offense for this team.

I dont have a 90 anywhere on my squad.
All Skill Position starters are in the 70s. Really needed 1 more year in 13 to levela out recruiting..but we are coming.

Got rid of the remaining stragglers.. Down to 70. This might be the last year of easy cuts for us though.

Made my cuts and turned my ready to advance light on.

Made a bone head mistake.
During position changes I usually count and make my cuts. The players I am cutting I move to Punter, just to make that decision in one step. I always do that in SP but not usually in MP. Well I did this time but forgot, so needing to cut 3 players I went through and cut three borderline guys. All JR/SR who were 3rd or worse on the depth chart...then I get to Punter and I had 5 cuts there. So I am now at a remarkable 65 players.

Arrow Custom schedules

Going to try doing this differently this year. Instead of listing out each team's OOC schedule, I'm just going to ask owners to list who they would like me to try to get on their schedule.

I want Texas State as close to the middle of the season as possible, I want the best available CPU opponent on the road in week 1, and the best CPU team available in any other slot. If I have any other openings, same deal. Best possible CPU opponent.

I absolutely need to have UNC, preferably at home and as late in the season as possible. Then, I'd like the highest-ranked traditional ACC teams that are available, one of which should be on the road. Thanks!
