RIP Quibi

Why did they think this was a good idea?

Maybe now I can see the new Reno 911 episodes for free?

You know, this makes me again wonder about CEOs, if there are some that are just good, or if many just catch lightning in a bottle.

In reviewing old LearnedLeague questions, I came across one asking for the eBay CEO, which at the time was Meg Whitman. eBay did rather well in her tenure (though it seems they may have mishandled Skype?). But after that, I'm not sure she did so well at HP. And when I researched the question, I saw that she was at Quibi now. My reaction was...wft is a Quibi? And now it's shutting down.

Anyway, one data point does not a theory make, but still leaves me to wonder.

Literally the only time I recall hearing Quibi mentioned was when WWE hyped it for about a month at launch.
