Werewolf 108, The Gang Wars of 1929 GAME OVER - North Siders Win

The setting is 1929 in Chicago. There is a massive amount of money being made due to prohibition. Al Capone and his outfit control the majority of the Chicago market. However, his empire is being threatened by rivals, most notably the North Side gang.

Capone and the North Side gang, led by Hymie Weiss and Bugs Moran, have been feuding for years. Capone’s life has been at stake many times. Body guards patrol The Lexington Hotel around the clock.

However, Capone has decided to make a stand against the North Siders. He has ordered his men to rent an apartment across the street from the North Side headquarters. His plan is to execute a massacre on Saint Valentine’s Day, by using men disguised as police officers to carry out the executions.

But word has leaked of Capone’s idea. The North Side gang has found out about the plans and must race against time to prevent the massacre from happening. However, since Capone is so powerful, the only way to do that is to achieve a one to one ratio with Capone’s men.

The rules and roles will be forthcoming. This game will be basic, as it will be my first time to host a game. There is no need to have any prior knowledge of Werewolf. The game will start on Monday, with the first deadline being 9 PM EST.

Rules

The deadline will be 9:00 EST. You will vote to lynch one person by bolding the candidate’s name.

VOTE GOLDENEAGLE

-12 hour game clock. Night actions are due by 9:00 AM EST.
-No Editing Posts
-You must unvote a player before changing your vote to another
-Votes will be accepted up until 9:01 EST.
-All other normal rules of Werewolf apply

The North Siders will win if they achieve a 1:1 ratio. The Chicago Outfit will win if they eliminate all of the North Side gang members.

Roles

Villagers

Al Capone – He is the leader of the gang. As a result, this character will be able to change the outcome of a vote once in the game.

William “Big Bill” Hale Thompson – He served as the 43^rd Mayor of Chicago and was widely believed to be on Capone’s payroll. Due to his powerful political position, Thompson is able to spy on a player once a night to reveal his gang identity.

Frankie Rio –He became Capone’s most trusted body guard, after saving his life in 1929. He is able to guard one player per night, but cannot guard the same player two consecutive nights. However, he is able to guard Capone on any night. He will learn the identity of a player if he thwarts an attack.

Wolves

Bugs Moran – He is the leader of the North Side gang. If he is lynched, he will be able to take a person to the grave with him.

Francis Cavanaugh – He is one of the top gunmen in the North Side gang. He almost assassinated Johnny Torrio, the former leader of the Chicago Outfit.

Willie Marks – He is another gunman for the North Side gang who served as a body guard for Moran. If he is sent to make a kill and Rio is present, Marks will kill Rio instead of the intended target.

John May –He picked-up odd jobs with the gang and worked as a car mechanic, but it was unclear if he was ever an official member of the gang. As a result of this, he will not be identified as a member of the North Side if scanned.

The wolves must send a different person each night to make a kill. Roles may or may not be in the game. I may add a role or two depending on how many people signup.

I don't understand how he affects the game. Also is there supposed to be a "Johnny Torrio" player in the game?

"Willie Marks – He is another gunman for the North Side gang who served as a body guard for Moran. If he is sent to make a kill and Rio is present, Marks will kill Rio instead of the intended target."

What does it mean "If Rio is present?" Do you mean if Rio is still alive and in the game? DOes that mean that the first kill Marks makes will automatically be for Rio?

Cavanaugh is just your basic wolf character. He is not brutal or cunning. Marks only uses his special ability if he is making a kill and Rio is guarding the target. Marks will kill Rio instead of the intended target. Torino is not in the game, it just goes to show the brutality of Cavanaugh.
