Your "all-star" Team

Here are the rules:

1.The player must have made the all-star team at some point in his career.
2.The player must have had the equivalent of one full season or less with your team (ie, can play two years with your team if it doesn't add up to one full season)
3.The player is not known for being on your team.

Any sport allowed.

I thought this would be fun as a puzzle, and as a wow I can't believe so and so played with that team and finally seeing who can put together the best team for their franchise.

Don't know if the one year rule makes it too hard.

To determine 'all-stars' I took the liberty to go with players that played an official match for their national (soccer) team. To determine less than a full seasons, I used 33 league matches as the maximum allowed (34 is a full season). To make it more interesting, I also added a full bench of 7 players, because I felt it would be a waste to dig up these names and then delete those that didn't make my starting eleven. All played for FC Utrecht in or after 1995 (I started watching dutch soccer in the 1994/95 season). Finally, note that it was nearly impossible to find players that played a defensive role - I actually had to switch John O'Brien (a midfielder) to right back, which he sparsely played - and had to settle with an unbalanced 3-4-3 formation.

Perhaps this is against the spirit of the exercise, but grabbing some HOF from this list: Philadelphia Phillies Player Career Batting Register - Baseball-Reference.com that I'd consider swapping in:

CF - Lloyd Waner
LF - Hack Wilson
SP - Fergie Jenkins (started as a Phillie )
2B - Joe Morgan (Sandberg is good, but Morgan...probably better)

Honorable mentions to Tony Perez and Al Oliver (and Vic Power, I suppose), but nobody is going to supplant Foxx.

*Might* also be tempted to put Bob Walk on there instead of Ken Brett (though I guess Fergie bumps them both).

Missed Fergie because he was over two seasons (though limited). Was looking through the history at players with just one season (didn't feel like investigating the 2 season guys to see if it was limited enough time to still count; chalk it up to laziness ).

I don't believe Hack Wilson ever was an all-star. I thought the game didn't start until the end of his career.

I went by what bb-ref had to say when it came time to fill out the bullpen. McGinnity might also have been a bb-ref call.
