Prepare To Be Blown AWAY!
By the greatness that is
Rock Sugar! What is even cooler, is that the lead singer was the guy that did Wakko's voice on Animaniacs.

Unfrigginbelievable.
But We Will Kickstart Your Rhapsody might be even better, or at least equally good (the transitions are awesome) Fan made photo montage over the album track

Yeah these guys are pretty impressive. I'm not a big "hair band" fan, but I really am blown away by what I'm hearing.

Certainly taking the songs from a genre & putting them into another has been done before (Hayseed Dixie's work comes to mind for me, so does Vitamin String Quartet) and mashups are certainly not unknown the current generation but there's some serious skill shown in how these guys handle the combination. Most of the tracks are now on youtube and I'll say that it's a little uneven at times but overall it's damned good stuff. Really appreciate the linkage, fanned 'em on Facebook already so I can keep track of them.

I was expecting to totally laugh my ass off. But after the initial shock(and a few chuckles) I started really appreciating how good these guys are. Great stuff.

Good stuff -- I liked the Metallica-like "Yeah!" thrown in between every now and then.
I'm actually surprised that Metallica hasn't tried to sue them. |
