A genuine "star", and a true entertainer.

Rest in peace.

RIP Burt

You were the definition of a Movie Star!

Anyone who liked Burt Reynolds, he did a movie last year, which, despite being somewhat predictable, was fun, charming, sentimental, and showed he still had it. I watched it a month ago, and came away smiling.

Definitely an icon, few have ever been as popular as he was in the late 70's early 80's.

Maybe a good sports analogy would be Shaq. Very popular/fan friendly. Very good at what he did. And the undisputed #1 star at his peak.

I grew up watching his movies...

Cannon Ball Run!
Hooper
The End!
Best Little Whorehouse in Texas
Stick
All Dogs Go To Heaven
even that awful show he did...Evening Shade?
and Win Lose or Draw

Ricahrd Pryor said it best. Burt Reynolds mastered the action comedy
