OOTP 2007: The God of Baseball

A little experiment I'm trying out with OOTP 2007.

I AM GOD HERE

The year is 1871 AD, and after working my ass off for Zues as an intern for several centuries, he has finally given me a realm to rule over. I will be known as Sabotai, God of Baseball....

Of what? Baseball? What the hell is that?

Well, as it turns out, a few dozen people in the newly formed nation of the United States, original name by the way, is starting up a new sport called baseball. Zues has given me full control over this new sport. Everything that has to do with baseball, I can influence it.

Well it's not the Sea or War....but I guess it's something.


Note: This will be 100% fictional. All teams, players, leagues, etc. will be fictional I don't want to mess around with historical settings and what-not for this, except for a few settings. This is purely for fun, to mess around with settings, create leagues, combine leagues, tear leagues apart, give me favorite players and teams extra boosts and bonuses, and to toy with those I don't like.

My first day of work begins with the formation of the world's first baseball league for competative play.

The NEFL is expanding by 2 teams. The Philadelphia Warriors in the East Division and the Charleston Hornets in the West Division. No expansion draft, they'll be on their own.

The Souther Baseball League is forming. 2 Divisions, 4 teams each. All of the same settings, but with 140 games

EDIT: Ok, this experiment is over. It's been a real pain in the ass so far, and the interface is making it even harder (granted, what I'm trying to do is not something the game was really designed to do.). I might try again in the future after I do more planning and experimenting.
