There is nothing creepier...

...than playing Fallout 3 in the dark and feeling a spider land down the back of your shirt.

Or if there is, I don't wanna know about it!

A baby copperhead snake crawled down my brothers ceiling fan and slithered behind his tv right behind him. he came from the ceiling when he was sitting at his computer a few feet away

I haven't bought FO3 yet, but I can't imagine it being much creepier than having that happen while playing Bioshock (although spiders don't scare me at all).

What kind of spider and size?

I was watching a horror film the other night and had one of these fuckers run up my leg.

I gotta say, I'm particularly skittish about spiders, even if I were playing Happy Pony Funland or something, I'd probably still freak out of a spider landed on me.

(I don't think there's a game called Happy Pony Funland but with the wealth of crappy DS and Wii titles out there, it wouldn't surprise me if there WAS)

What part of "in the dark" got lost in translation?

I freaked out, slapped my shoulder a couple of times and ran for the light switch. there was no sign of any spider by the time I got back to the gaming area.

Although some little critter freaked out when I woke up this morning. Tapped the sheet with my finger, and something...moved underneath it.

I think I'm developing psychosomatic arachnophobia.

We get some of those here in Virginia and I'm not real happy with them. Didn't have them in Kansas.

What about if you turned around you saw Michael Jackson naked behind you?

Bugs weird me out enough in broad daylight when I can see them coming. Just the other day I was reading a book and had some sort of spider/centipede run across my chest, I spazzed out and slapped my chest about 6 times, ran around the room, took off my shirt, and was nervous whenever I sat on the couch the rest of the day.

The thought of bugs is enough to make me itchy and scratch.

EDIT: There should be a size limit on images involving bugs. Yuck.

In Fallout 3?

Michael would suddenly have holes in places other than just where his nose used to be.

In a dark apartment? I don't think he's pale enough for luminescence yet.
