Actually I don't think Raiders necessary did that on my account. But turning a 7-7 tie into a buffer-zoned 8-6 feels good to me.

Since I need to go for the evening, I am changing to one of the now 3 leaders. (I am including Lathum as he isn't too far behind the leaders.) I assume there will be a bit more moving around before the end but that is it for me. Talk to y'all this evening!

In case anyone is interested, looks like NTN won't be back on.

I agree, but since RA had just came back on I'd have given him a few minutes with it tied to decide. With how few wolfs there probably are in this game right now I don't see a wolf putting a vote on another wolf today, unless it is a late switch. Just thought it was strange to not see what RA would do first. I agree that we shouldn't all switch a minute or two before the deadline, was just saying there is still lots of time to switch.

can anyone give me any kind of explanation about where NTN came from as a candidate...this has been a rather bizarre run

I voted NTN because I saw it as him possibly jumping on a bandwagon to ensure a wolf didn't get lynched.

My impression was he was just another guy that had some votes that could be a contender once bhlloy was out of the running ( and since people seemed to feel better about Mauboy for some reason). I don't remember why he got any votes to begin with. But that's the case for just about everybody.

I put the first vote on him but had no real reason to (which I stated when I placed the vote).

Not sure why the rest of the run started.

so people felt good about mau, and people felt good about bholloy...bholloy revealed, so instead of going to mau, a whole boatload of people pulled NTN out of no where...i'll be back in a bit...need to go look up the definintion of "bandwagon"...i know i will be looking at the people that started that run tomorrow

Danny was the first to bring him up as a candidate and he seems pretty sure of himself for unknown reasons. Can't explain anyone else but my own. Danny might have some info but don't know. Maybe his pushing did it. bhlloy revealed so pile off of there. mauboy suddenly seemed a bad candidate but I think Danny started that ball rolling too. So j23 vs ntn and here we are.

SInce j23 is more vocal perhaps is why I like him staying at this point.

really not liking a run on a guy that said he wouldnt be back before deadline...this just feels very wrong...i was already thinking that the ratio in this game would be different than others because of the chance that we can all resist the night kill...the fact that a run got put together that quickly really doesnt sit well with me

What about the possibility that NTN has a role? He said earlier today he wouldn't be on this evening, so can't quite fault him for being quiet.

I hate to defend anyone since if he's bad you'll all scowl at me. But i think it's bad practice to blindly lynch people who aren't around to reveal.

Well, a run was pretty much inevitable when Bhlloy revealed. It was only a question of who it would be.

Just in case we have a double voter on J23 or something like that. I think it's a bad idea to kill the absent guy, but I don't think a tie is better.

Unfortunately if he has a role we will find out, hopefully he will be one of the 20%, but this late run might have people not believing a reveal anyways. It is entirely possible we didn't have a wolf up as it was.

I'm sure it is, that is why I didn't have a problem changing off of him at the last minute. If you are important you should try and find a way to at least check somewhat near deadline.

I feel differently day one, particularly, though. Not everyone can get on, the votes are so random you have no idea if yo'ure going to be in the running. I think it pays for the village to be careful not to kill off a role if they're just randomly voting anyway.

As the day concludes, you meet by the shores of the famous Mississippi. After some discussion, you narrow the candidates down to two major ones, and despite the push and pull, ultimately you decide to select ntndeacon.

The Sacred Flame is ignited as a column brightly against the twilight sky. Prismatic flares seem to kiss the sky as the multivaried flames crackle with an odd spectral pop. You get the feeling that it is not quite there. Like most of it has manifested. But not all of it, as the spiritual part of the Sacred Flame keeps itself hidden away much like man's soul.

At first, ntndeacon is reluctant to move into the Flame, but the hypnotic swaying of the flame is too much and he moves into it. The Holy Fire envelops his body, baring forth his spirit. His body is destroyed, but with his spirit laid bare, you can tell, just before he departs this plane, that he was, in fact, a Servant of the Red Death!

You check his things and confiscate a Charm of Protection Against Detection as evidence. He appears to have been The Unhallowed, a Servant with some special abilities.

Congratulations are in order, and you celebrate your victory with drink and song, but it is hollow. You know that there must be more Servants than this.

Day One Has Ended. Night One Actions must be submitted by TWO AM EST.

Somebody can come out and say they had the best gut call ever or something, but it seems to me we just got very lucky. I was pushing not to lynch him, so I know I'll get the squinty eye for that, but I stand by the idea that it's not smart to lynch people who can't reveal.
