NFL Season Betting Game

I was thinking that it might be fun to have a little NFL pool going here.

I am throwing this out to solicit suggestions as to how to do it.

We could all contribute a bit of money to the PayPal pot, and at the end of the season, the winner(s) could take that.

Or, if we want to increase participation beyond people willing to pony up, I would be willing to donate some sum (like $50 or so) to the charity of the winner's choosing, just to put some stakes in the game.

Also, in terms of how to bet, I was thinking of having some player categories (passing yards leader, rushing leader, receiving leader, sacks leader, etc.) that would be worth a certain number of points for getting right.

Then maybe also having everyone have to pick a certain number of teams (10?) and pick over/under the Vegas over/under line. And you get or lose points based on how much over or under your team goes.

I am throwing this thread out there, though, to solicit ideas as to the best way to run it, things y'all would like to bet on, etc.

Calcutta pool would be super fun

about half the money based on regular season wins?

2.5% = each division winner
2.5% = #1 conf seed and bye week
====
25%

25% divided among top-record teams, based on number of wins >10
(12-4 team gets 2/W share where W = total wins over 10 by top teams)

20% SB winner
10% SB loser
10% split between conference champ losers
10% split among divisional losers
===
50%

Just spitballing above. I'm likely in for anything we all cook up.
