Arby's free stuff on Wednesday promos?

Dunno if this is a regional thing, but today the promo was a free Roastburger with purchase of a drink. And they've been doing similar stuff for the past 2-3 months as well.

Is this running nationwide? Cause you really can do a lot worse for lunch than a sandwich and a drink for 2 bucks.

Have it here in Cleveland as well - Although I wouldn't touch an Arby's RB sandwich with a 10 foot poll

Yeah-I usually stop in Canton every wednesday.

Hate to sound like Puddy, but I really loves me some Arby's.

Why do people hate Arby's so much? The Simpsons made fun of it and I didn't understand why. If someone asks me why I hate McDonald's I can point to the fact that it send me to the can... what's with Arby's though, I actually like the place.

They have it here in Jersey so it probably is a national promotion (or at least a North East one)

People do crazy things in commercials, like eat at Arby's.

I wasn't aware of any significant Arby's hate, so count me as a +1 on this question.

Big Montana was hard to beat in terms of quantity of food in one sandwich for my money. I wish they were a little cheaper but on the whole I've got no complaints with 'em & like me some Horsey Sauce.

I've never had Arby's, but kinda wish I did. Wasn't that Big Montana what Amanda Peet's character wanted so bad in "Saving Silverman?" That looked delicious...

...especially when that sauce was dripping down her chest.

I love when they have the 5 roast beefs for $5 specials. Arby's was the closest fast food place to the house where I grew up, so I ate there a lot.

I think mine is 5 for $6 something. My biggest weakness is the Big Montana with Arby and Horsey sauce on it. Curly fries with Arby sauce is a good alternate take on fries. Arby's always seems dead even though I think they put out credible fast food. I do kind of find it funny that a restaurant got famous because their food item was beef, sauce, and a bun.

Rax is better, but they aren't in my area anymore. *sigh*

Arby's definition of 'roast beef' isn't the same as mine. Pass.

I've pretty much made it a Wednesday stop since they've been doing these promotions, though I only really care to get the roast beef, which they feature a buy-one-get-one on every week. It's even better when the monthly "get a roast beef free with drink" promotion happens. I game the system to get two sandwiches for what amounts to two small drinks (yes, horrible on empty calories, but cheap). I looked at the nutrition charts and I figure I'm getting more than a Big Montana's worth of sandwich for a much smaller cost during these promos. I usually skip out on the fries as a result. Good stuff.

Arby's curly seasoned fries = the 2nd best fries amongst large chains, second only to Rally's/Checker's.

Rally's is a personal fave as well. I was so excited when I found one near a delivery stop I make. Western PA is a wasteland for good fast food joints.

The curly fries are alright. I hear the roast burgers are decent, but I'd have to find myself in an unlikely situation to say "Hey, let's stop at the only Arby's within a 20 mile radius"

I had a roastburger last week. It wasn't bad.

I'd definitely have another if the burger and a drink only cost me two bucks.

Roastburgers are very tasty and I love their curly fries (though I try not to get it too often).

Beef and chedders are also delicious as Hell.

Since when are they called roastburgers? I thought they were called roast beef sandwiches.

I really like the bacon-bleu roastburger-
Especially if you get xtra meat.

They've had the roastburger for several months around here, I'm thinking at least 4-5. Basically they just brown the beef a bit more.

Hm...I always thought it was just a roast beef sandwich with toppings. The regular sandwiches were the equivalent of hamburgers and cheeseburgers at McDonald's (they didn't seem to advertise toppings on them, just meat and perhaps melted cheese on a bun).

roast beef sandwiches = the basic beef, sauce, and bun.

roastburger = roast beef sandwiches + normal hamburger toppings.
