Michael Cohen has said that President Trump would go to Mar-a-Lago for Christmas and never return.

What do we think?

I said yes. Just because there will be some reason to make an appearance. There are no lines that this President is afraid cross, so running away is entirely possible.

He pretty much said as much when vetoing the bill - relatively calmly/confidently suggested the next administration could still be him

I said yes, but only because their will be some last way to screw the 80 million of us that didn't vote for him that must be done from the White House (pardons for his family and himself? veto COVID relief bill? something far worse?)

There is a part of me that still thinks, being the coward that he is, that he tries to escape whatever subpoenas, criminal investigations that are likely coming his way, and leaves the country before then. But the delusion that he thinks he won the election may still be running strong and he'll stay to fight it (while suckering more Americans to give him money)

We have our answer. He is heading back to Washington early, and is skipping his NYE party in Florida. I think we are likely to wish he had stayed in Florida.

I wonder about Pence. He had a scheduled trip to the Middle East for right after January 6th, but that has all been cancelled. I know he can't steal the election, but I do wonder what other shenanigans he might try. Refuse to do his job, and force the courts to make him?
