See I got the PM last night, if only I'd posted maybe you'd be on the chopping block. I was sick and exhausted though, so that's probably why I was confused about whether or not I could post. I just didn't want to make a post that was illegal and have part of the game decided in that manner. I must say, if I came up with that as a fake reason I'd be pretty proud of myself.

I've played in lots of games where someone comes out and says "based on the information in my PM, I know (player x) is a wolf/is good/is a specific role...I can't give details until I hear back from (whoever is running the game)". You could have done that without revealing your role, and knowing that a counter-reveal is often doubted, I don't understand why you wouldn't have done something similar to this. That's why I doubt you.

Ah, I've never seen that done. And aside from that, I'd already taken nyquil when I got the original PM, I'm pretty sure. But it's alright, doubt me, if I haven't gotten anyone to change by this point it seems unlikely. Get ready for a quick nightfall after I die, CR.

Well, Nightfall votes are relatively meaningless, because it was a lock I wouldn't be able to end the day until a couple hours before deadline anyway. Also, I'm not aware of any traditional rules relating to Nightfall votes--I figure they can be changed like any vote up to the deadline or whenever the moderator runs the deadline. But I didn't put any game set up into that.

The day doesn't take long to really get rolling. jeheinz72 stands up and points at The Jackal. The Jackal jumps up and points right back. The office has seemingly degenerated into backfighting. No one really knows quite what to make of it.

Momentum rolls the way of he who spake first, in this case, jeheinz. The Jackal's protestations seem to fall on deaf ears, as more and more office workers take to jeheinz's side?

The afternoon rolls toward clock out time, and the question of the day is, who really is the Fish?

At the end of the day, the Boss fingers The Jackal to come over to his office, as the long anticipated boom awaits.

The Jackal has protested enough, it seems. He barely makes a sound leaving the Boss's office; simply walks to his desk and starts to pack his things.

It was the only decision he has ever really made without waffling a bit. The Jackal was fired, and he was The Fish! He was on the side of the Department!

jeheinz fellow workers looked to him for answers, but he merely shrugged. And when the Boss came to the door once more, it wasn't jeheinz he called into the office. He beckoned for Render to bring his file in with him.

Render does not go so quietly.

"You are being led around by liars and traitors," Render yells at the Boss, who appears resolved to keep his calm. After Render yells himself out, the Boss tells him to please gather his things and leave the premises immediately.

Render has been NIGHT-FIRED, courtesy of the Cougars! He was naught but a regular Department Worker!

And now we're down to five.

Tomorrow night's deadline will again be at 10 p.m. EST/7 p.m. PDT.

If everyone is present, we will run the deadline, and then run a "quick" one hour day to wrap the game tomorrow night. If not, the game will end Friday.

Don't knock it until you've tried it. I knew a woman who didn't shave but had an entire library of sexual positions and techniques. Weirder than hell but I stuck around for about six months anyway......
