HE can't be an NFL QB (an FOF7 dynasty)

Size, size, size...

That is all they seem to preach when it comes to drafting and NFL quarterback. How much can a size challenged quarterback really achieve in the NFL?

Brees, Wilson, Vick... they are the players who have attempted to make the best of the hand they are dealt physically. Each with a different level of success.

They have been the role models for Lawrence Blades, the current consensus top draft pick in the 2018 NFL draft. He has wanted to stand on the same stage as them and attempt to achieve what they have achieved. If he did stand on that stage, he may need to stand on a phone book to look them in the eyes.

Lawrence stands a towering 5 feet 9 inches tall and that is in the media guide. He won't stand out in a crowd at all. When he walks around his home town of Detroit no one notices, unless they get a good look at him.

He wasn't wooed by the big universities because of his size and found himself attending Fresno State. He had a fine career with Fresno State setting several school records and is now ready to smash his way into prime time if teams will give him a shot.

Everything that he did at the combine backs up what everyone is saying, that he could be the real deal. If he was 6'4" there would be no question about him going number one. Only time will tell as he waits for the draft.

The Combine

How did he open eyes? By dominating the combine.

He ran the second fastest 40 time for a quarterback at 4.45, which was 16th among all players.

He has the highest Solecismic test score among ANY player.

He benched the most reps among quarterbacks.

He had the 2nd best agility course time among quarterback.

He had the best standing broad jump among quarterbacks.

The only question is how soon he will be ready for a pro offense.

Tampa Bay currently has the top pick in the draft. Will they take a shot? They do need a quarterback; while they have one he is not a franchise quarterback.

2018 NFL Entry Draft

With the first pick in the 2018 NFL Draft the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select....

from Fresno State, quarterback Lawrence Blades...

There are many cheers and a few golf claps (from those who have already declared him a bust-- Napoleon in shoulder pads... a PR move... a joke... he has many that he wants to prove wrong).

"This will be my motivation." He tells the interviewer from ESPN. With another microphone shoved in his face, held a little high and making him look like a small child trying to look over the dashboard of his parents' car he says "I have been this size all through college and you see what I did there. I proved Michigan wrong. I proved Michigan State wrong. I proved everyone in the SEC wrong. I intend to prove everyone wrong."

Everyone except for his supporters I would presume.

2018 Exhibition

Tampa has already fallen for him and his underdog status. His jerseys are flying off shelves and the fans are rallying around him. There is a sense of a pending storm but will that be a wild ride to championships and a Hall of Fame career or a Ryan Leaf style bust?

Cincinnati @ Tampa Bay

Lawrence starts in the opening exhibition game and puts up a solid first quarter but saw little action in the second as they brought in last year's starter for the rest of the game. The game was scoreless when he left and they would go on to lose 20-17 on a Bengals touchdown with 17 seconds left in the game.

Lawrence was 6 of 7 for 39 yards and ran the ball 1 time for 5 yards.

Tampa Bay @ Tennessee

Lawrence made another start and played the first quarter. He led Tampa to a 10-0 lead which they held onto for a 13-10 victory. Fans are starting to question why the team isn't allowing him to play more in the preseason. He needs to get more game experience.

He was 4 of 7 for 38 yards and ran 1 time for 8 yards. He has yet to be sacked in the preseason, though it isn't like he has a large number of plays under his belt to risk being sacked. They seem to air it out more when Braxton Lind comes in, though he only completed 50% of his passes and was picked off once so it's not like he is putting up numbers to make the team want to go with him.

Pittsburgh @ Tampa Bay

Again he played only the first quarter but this time the team trailed 10-0 after that quarter. He was sacked for the first time this offseason and it was on his first play from scrimmage. The team had problems holding onto the ball as fumbles by the running back and a receiver led to the 10 points. This time the team did well in a comeback 35-31 victory as they took the lead with less than two minutes left on a 69 yard touchdown pass by Braxton Lind. Lind made a statement with over 300 yards and 4 touchdown passes, though he was picked off twice.

Lawrence was 8 of 10 for 51 yards as they continue to call a safe game plan when he is in the game. He didn't run except for the time when he tried to escape the pressure but didn't make it past the line of scrimmage and was sacked for a 2 yard loss.

Tampa Bay @ Jacksonville

Jacksonville put all sorts of defensive pressure on Lawrence as he played for about a quarter and a half and had his worst game of the preseason at the worst possible time. He looked like he was out of his element and that has caused some of his naysayers to start with the 'I told you so' rants. Jacksonville would win easily 37-18 as Lawrence will have to limp into the regular season with the team considering letting him start the season as the second string quarterback and learning from the sideline.

Lawrence was 6 of 13 for 78 yards with 2 interceptions. He was under intense pressure as he was sacked 3 times for a total of 20 yards. He was able to scramble out of 3 sacks and turned them into 3 carries for 18 yards.

He was still upbeat after the game and called it a learning experience and something that he will use to fuel his desire to prove everyone wrong (again with the everyone, he has supporters so it can't be everyone).

2018 Season

Week 1 - @ New Orleans

The team decided to allow Lawrence to develop and learn from the sidelines. Braxton Lind started for them and got them out to a 14-0 halftime lead. The Saints answered back to start the 3rd with a touchdown and then returned an interception for another to tie the game before a late touchdown run gave Tampa the lead again at 21-14 as the third quarter ends. In the 4th the Saints would tie the game with under 6 minutes left but the Buccaneers would answer right back with a touchdown just 2 minutes later to make it 28-21. The Tampa defense would hold and they would win the game 28-21.

Lawrence held on a field goal attempt, but never on an extra point.

Week 2 - @ Baltimore (0-1)

Field goals were what the game was about for Tampa. Lawrence got to watch from the bench as their kicker Ross Bradley hits 5 field goals in a 15-10 victory. Lind didn't lose the game but he certainly didn't win the game for the team. Fans can't start clamoring for Lawrence yet as the team is 2-0.

Lawrence held for all 5 field goals, that was his playing time.

Week 3 - Arizona (2-0)

More watching as Braxton Lind has his best game of the young season with a game rating of 112 as the Buccaneers held off the Cardinals by a 27-20 final to remain unbeaten. It is looking like Lawrence will be waiting a little while before getting his shot.

Lawrence again held on field goals, 2 of them. In a 'don't hit send' moment Lawrence expressed his dislike for holding a clipboard. Fan support hasn't waivered for him but they aren't calling for him to play now as the team is 3-0 and looking strong.

Week 4 - @ Washington (2-1)

The game was all defense as the Buccaneers win with a touchdown with 2 minutes left in the game by a 10-3 final. While Lind drove them for the game winner on the previous drive he almost cost them the game with an interception.

Lawrence held on the field goal and this week he didn't press send.

Week 5 - Dallas (3-1)

Both teams bring serious defenses into the game as they are the top two defenses in terms of yards allowed and Tampa leads the league in points allowed while Dallas is 8th. With that said, of course the game is a shootout that the Cowboys win 35-30 on a touchdown in the final 2 minutes. Lind threw for 395 yards and receiver Trenton James caught 10 passes for 218 yards in the loss.

Lawrence held for 5 field goal attempts, unfortunately 2 missed field goals were the difference in the game.

Week 6 - @ Atlanta (2-2-1)

In a tight game the saw Tampa struggle to be consistent on offense the Falcons win 20-17.

Little Larry (as Lind is now calling him) saw only one field goal hold.

Week 7 - Philadelphia (1-5)

Lind goes 21 of 25 and throws for 3 touchdowns though the team had more trouble with a 1-5 team than they should have as they win 28-24 to improve to 5-2.

More of the same for Lawrence but he was a master at holding the clipboard today.

Week 9 - @ New York Giants (1-6)

In what can only be a low point of the season the Buccaneers get destroyed by the 1-6 Giants as they lose 51-20. Lind throws 6 interceptions but Lawrence still remained on the sideline. This game has begun to stir the fans up a bit.

More of the same for Lawrence but there was obvious frustration on his face as he left the field. Some of the local reporters are saying that he had a conversation with the coach about possibly starting but that may just be a rumor.

Week 10 - New Orleans (2-6)

Lind starts the game and has another horrible game. Lawrence finally sees the light of day and is brought in to a huge ovation but the team already trailed 37-20 at that point. Lawrence did lead the team on a touchdown drive as he threw and 8 yard touchdown for his first career NFL touchdown pass.

Lawrence was 6 of 10 in relief for 103 yards with the 1 touchdown for a game rating of 128.3. He was sacked 1 time for a 2 yard loss but scrambled away from the pressure one time for a 20 yard run.

Where will the team go from here, they have dropped to 5-4 and are in danger of going into a very bad slide the way they are now playing?

Week 11 - Carolina (5-4)

They went back to Lind and the fans weren't happy. Another bad performance and Lawrence came in way too late as the team fell 38-14 and the Panther defense was teeing off on Lawrence when he came in.

He had a very forgettable relief performance. He completed only 4 of 12 for 34 yards and was intercepted 1 time. He wasn't sacked and didn't scramble but they hit him almost every play. He looked like a rookie and like a short rookie in that performance as he held the ball too long trying to see downfield, or so it seemed.

Week 12 - @ Cincinnati (6-4)

In a huge week for the team as they are in danger of dropping below .500 the team is getting hammered by fans for announcing that Lind will be the starter. Lind responded by playing a solid, but not spectacular, game in a 28-20 victory to improve their record to 6-5.

Lawrence was back to his holding duties.

The Buccaneers are current sitting a game behind Carolina in the division and not in a wild card spot.

Week 13 - @ Chicago (2-8)

They looked bad offensively but Chicago looked worse as Tampa wins 16-9 to improve to 7-5.

Lawrence was the holder again, while Lind did not have a great game but didn't lose the game.

Week 14 - Pittsburgh (6-6)

Lind is hurt early in the 2nd quarter and Lawrence comes into the game down 7-0. He has a fine second quarter and gives the team a 10-7 lead but a defensive collapse in the 3rd puts the team in a whole that they can't climb out of and he begins to press a bit. They fall 31-17 to drop to 7-6. In a rare occurrence, running back Doug Martin ran for 151 yards in a bad loss.

He completed 17 of 34 for 210 yards with 2 touchdowns but also threw 2 interceptions and had a game rating of 64.6. He was sacked only 1 time but scrambled 3 other times for 21 yards.

Lind was diagnosed with a groin injury (gr gr groin injury) and is listed as doubtful for next week.

Week 15 - Atlanta (5-7-1(

A key game as the team tries to stay in the race; a game out of the divisional race and a game out of the last wild card. Lawrence gets the nod for the game and there is a buzz in the stands as the game starts. On their first drive a field goal gives the Buccaneers a 3-0 lead. Two drives later Lawrence fires a perfectly placed 27 yard touchdown strike and the rout is on. The Buccaneers jump to a 27-0 lead on their way to a 34-3 victory. Lawrence was solid in his first full game.

He was 17 of 26 for 191 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception for a game rating of 84.5. He was sacked 2 times but didn't face a lot of pressure as they were pounding the ball mostly. He ran only 1 time for 3 yards.

The Buccaneers are now 8-6 ad tied with Carolina for the division (but lose out currently on tie breakers). They trail Green Bay and San Francisco in the wild card race (both are 9-5 and in the two wild card positions). They also have Minnesota (8-6), Arizona (8-6) and Washington (8-5-1) to contend with in terms of the wild card race.

Week 16 - Cleveland (8-6)

Both teams are outside looking in for a playoff spot so this game is huge for both as the loser is most likely out of the playoffs. Lind is back in as starter though he not completely recovered from his injury. The game is a good one, back and forth with the Buccaneers taking a 24-23 lead with 8:37 left in the game on a 93 yard touchdown pass from Lind to Trent James. The Tampa defense stopped Cleveland on the next three drives, allowing them across midfield twice but not in field goal range with the drives stopped on a fumble and on downs. Tampa holds on for the 24-23 victory and they improve to 9-6.

Lawrence begrudgingly returned to holder duty.

Carolina lost at Pittsburgh and Tampa currently leads the playoff race but it all comes down to the final week in a head to head matchup.

Week 17 - @ Carolina (8-7)

A win means division title. A loss gives the title to Carolina and then it matters who else does what in the wild card race.

Lind came up big time for the team as they jumped out to a 21-0 first quarter lead thanks to three touchdown passes from Lind. Carolina comes back in the second and close the gap to 24-14 at the half. After a scoreless 3rd the Panthers score with 10:48 remaining to narrow the gap to 24-21. The Buccaneers extend the lead on a field goal with 4:05 to go, to make it 27-21. The Panthers go three and out and punt with just over 3 minutes left, hoping for a defensive stand. Tampa never lets them see the ball again as they run the clock out for the 27-21 victory and the division title.

Lawrence had holder duty but said all the right things... "The only thing that matters was the win and division title."

2018 Playoffs

Wildcard Round

Kansas City (9-7) @ Cincinnati (10-6)
Cincinnati trails 23-17 with just over 10 minutes left in the game but score 10 points in the final 6 minutes of the game for a 27-23 victory to advance. Cincinnati QB Junior Whitted was the game MVP with 241 yards and 3 touchdowns through the air and 98 yards rushing on 11 carries.

Minnesota (10-6) @ Tampa Bay (10-6)
Defense be damned. Minnesota jumped to a 16-0 lead with 7:02 left in the first half and each team added a touchdown to give the Vikings a 23-7 lead at the half. Lind throws 3 touchdowns in the 3rd to get the team back to 33-28 at the end of the third. Tampa takes the lead with a little over 9 to go in the game but a missed conversion makes it 34-33. With 3:09 left the Vikings score and are successful on the two point conversion to take a 41-34 lead. With just 26 seconds left Lind throws his 6th touchdown pass of the game to tie it at 41-41 and the game heads to overtime. After a 3 and out by Tampa Minnesota drives into Tampa territory and on a run to setup a possible field goal the ball is fumbled and cornerback Stephen Jells picks the ball up and returns it 75 yards for the winning touchdown. Lind threw for 446 yards and 6 touchdowns. Tampa wins 47-41.

Oakland (10-6) @ Tennessee (9-7)
All defense as Tennessee leads 14-0 late and holds on for a 14-7 victory.

Washington (9-6-1) @ Dallas (11-5)
Dallas wins a tight one on a field goal with 4 seconds left for a 26-23 victory.

Divisional Round

Cincinnati (11-6) @ San Diego (10-6)
San Diego rolls behind game MVP Phillip Rivers to a 35-10 victory. Rivers threw for 278 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Dallas (12-5) @ St. Louis (11-5)
The Cowboys led 28-21 at the half but then St. Louis rolled them by a 24-0 score in the second half for the 45-28 victory. Matt Ryan was the MVP for the Rams as he threw for 374 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Tampa Bay (11-6) @ Detroit (11-5)
With the Buccaneers leading 10-3 late in the 4th a touchdown pass from Stafford to Johnson tied the game 10-10 with just 2 seconds left to send the game to overtime. After forcing Detroit to a three and out the Buccaneers drove 71 yards and hit a chip shot 19 yard field goal to win the game 13-10. Running back Dough Martin ran for 112 yards and a touchdown while Lind struggled and threw a pair of picks. Lawrence is chomping at the bit to get in but is handling everything well and saying all the right things so far.

Tennessee (10-7) @ New England (10-5-1)
The Titans crush the evil empire in front of their own fans 33-6. Linebacker Akeem Ayres set the tone with an interception returned for a touchdown, a sack, 15 tackles and a forced fumble.

Conference Championship Round

Tampa Bay (12-6) @ St. Louis (12-5)
St. Louis proved far too much for Tampa and blitzed them to a 30-7 victory. Lawrence's season has come to an end and he begins to focus on trying to earn the starting spot next season.

Tennessee (11-7) @ San Diego (11-6)
With Tennessee leading 9-7 the Chargers hit a chip shot field goal with 1:48 left to take a 10-9 lead. Tennessee drives to the Chargers 23 and they hit a 40 yard field goal as time runs out to win the game 12-10.

Super Bowl

St. Louis (13-6) vs. Tennessee (12-7)
With 1:35 left the Rams hit a field goal to extend their lead to 26-20 and are a defensive stop away from a championship. The Titans drive downfield and have a 3rd down from the Rams 15 yard line with just 6 seconds left. Tennessee quarterback Kaden Hicks drops back and begins to scramble away from pressure when he spots Kevin Cone at the back of the end zone and threads the ball to him... complete for the touchdown. They make the extra point and Tennessee wins the Super Bowl 27-26 in a thriller.

Offseason

A disgruntled Lawrence saw some good news as the team didn't resign Lind and Lind signed with Denver. They have cleared the way for Lawrence to lead the team next season. He is still not happy that he wasn't declared the starter but told that he will earn it against a couple vets they brought in to compete for the position. Most everyone sees those vets as career backups so we can see why he is upset to be compared with them but he better get over it and himself if he wants to start his career.

Year 2 is Year Lawrence!

That Super Bowl was kind of like revenge for the real-life Super Bowl many years ago between the Titans and Rams.

2019 Preseason

Tampa Bay @ New England

Lawrence had only limited duty in what was a 23-10 victory. He completed 5 of 8 for 72 yards and was sacked 1 time. There was some concern when he took the sack as he was shaken up and came out of the game. It seems precautionary and nothing serious; they didn't want to risk anything worse.

San Diego @ Tampa Bay

The defense ruled this game as they win easily 30-3. Lawrence played a longer stretch but was not very effective. He was 9 of 19 for 60 yards and was sacked twice. He ran one time but only for 3 yards.

New York Jets @ Tampa Bay

Lawrence really wants to make a case for himself as starter as he has been struggling and his backups have looked better in preseason so far.

He stepped up in the limited action that he had to start the game. He was 6 of 6 for 74 yards with 1 touchdown. He was never under pressure and wasn't sacked or forced to run.

Tampa Bay @ Kansas City

This game was all about the kickers as Kansas City wins 12-3. Lawrence was 5 of 9 for 79 yards in his limited action. Their biggest concern was that they were unable to run the ball but it is just preseason so no one is too worried.

Is the Year of Lawrence about to begin?

2019 Regular Season

Week 1 - @ Atlanta

Everything started well as Tampa jumps out to a 10-0 lead in the 1st quarter as Lawrence throws a 22 yard touchdown. Then the defensive adjustments happened. Atlanta shut down the Tampa running game and blanketed the receivers. Lawrence was very ineffective for the remainder of the game as Atlanta slowly chipped away. Atlanta would go on to win 13-10.

Lawrence was 16 of 37 for 114 yards with 1 touchdown and no interceptions; a game rating of 60.0. He was sacked twice and one of those times fumbled, which was recovered and returned for a touchdown. He ran 1 time for 6 yards.

Critics are beginning to speak up and comparisons to a certain quarterback from Florida are being made.

Week 2 - @ Jacksonville (0-1)

The Year of Lawrence is turning into an early nightmare as Jacksonville destroys Tampa 33-10. Lawrence played a lousy game and is losing some of his supporters (facebook and twitter are not being kind).

He was 19 of 37 for 167 yards with 2 interceptions for a game rating of 41.2. He was sacked twice and also ran 3 times for 29 yards.

Week 3 - @ Dallas (1-1)

A third straight road game, the team seriously needs to play in a friendly environment. Lawrence continues to struggle in a 16-7 loss that drops them to 0-3. Fans are really getting upset with this coming off a playoff appearance last season.

He was 18 of 42 for 161 yards with 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions. He was sacked 2 times and fumbled the ball twice on those sacks. He was running for his life as he ran 5 other times for 56 yards, the first time he got to show his open field skills.

Week 4 - Arizona (1-2)

They finally get to play at home and they host a team that has struggles as well, hopefully it is what the doctor ordered.

It is what the doctor ordered, for Arizona. They again struggle offensively and lose 17-7 to drop to 0-4.

Lawrence is close to sitting, or so many fans are now hoping. He was 19 of 47 for 178 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception for a game rating of 49.8. He wasn;t sacked but ran 5 times for 36 yards.

Week 5 - San Francisco (3-1)

The team struggled early but didn't quit. Though they didn't have enough to come back all the way they did get back to 24-17 for the final. Lawrence looked better in this loss but the team has not been able to run the ball. They are now 0-5 and looking ahead to next year.

Lawrence was 25 of 41 for 285 yards for a game rating of 81.8. He was sacked twice. He wan 4 times for 23 yards, including his first rushing touchdown in the NFL, a 2 yard quarterback draw that got the team back to 24-17 late in the 4th. Hopefully this is just his first step in that right direction.

Week 6 - @ St. Louis (3-2)

They take a 20-17 lead into the final quarter in this one but their defense lets them down as they lose 27-20 despite a late drive deep into Rams' territory which ends at the Rams' 17 as time expires. They again were unable to run the ball which ultimately hurt them.

Lawrence was 26 of 46 for 331 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception for a game rating of 77.3. He had his first 300 yard passing game of his career. He was sacked 1 time and scrambled 2 times for 18 yards.

Week 8 - @ Seattle (3-4)

Lawrence does well in a defensive struggle as he leads the team on the game winning drive in a 16-13 victory for their first victory of the season as they are now 1-6. Still in position for a great draft pick, they could use a lineman.

He was 22 of 29 for 139 yards for a game day rating of 85.3. They went with a short passing game all game and it seemed to work, this time. He was sacked 2 times and ran 4 times for 33 yards.

The team is hoping this will lead to better things.

Week 9 - @ New Orleans (2-5)

With the team trailing 17-6 in the 4th quarter Lawrence led the team on three consecutive scoring drives (2 field goals and 1 touchdown with a 2 point conversion). They have now started a winning streak with a 20-17 victory and have improved to 2-6.

He was 23 of 45 for 275 yards with 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions for a 59.0 game day rating. He was sacked 3 times and fumbled on 2 of them. He needs better blind side protection.

Week 10 - Atlanta (3-5)

They lose a defensive battle on a last second field goal 13-10. The loss drops them to 2-7.

He was 24 of 39 for 199 yards for a game day rating of 74.6. He was sacked 4 times and fumbled on one of them. He also ran 3 times for 22 yards.

They are now 2-7 but only 2 games out of the division lead as Atlanta and Carolina are both 4-5 with New Orleans also 2-7 as they are in the weakest division in the NFL this season.

Week 11 - Carolina (4-5)

Statement game, if a 2-7 team can have a statement game, as they whipped the Panthers 27-7. Lawrence had his best game of the season but they still had no running game and he was under pressure.

He was 28 of 35 for 308 yards with 2 touchdowns and 1 interception for a game day rating of 110.5. He was sacked 2 times and ran 6 times for 10 yards (3 of them were kneel downs).

With the win they are now 3-7 and all 4 teams in the division are within 1 game of each other.

Week 12 - Houston (7-3)

This is a big game with them just one game out of the division title (as sad as that sounds) but they have a tough team in front of them. Houston jumps out 17-0 and it is looking bad but Tampa stepped up and went on to outscore them 27-7 the rest of the way for a 27-24 victory to improve to 4-7.

Lawrence was 22 of 36 for 269 yards with 2 touchdowns and 1 interception for a game day rating of 91.1. He ran 2 times for 1 yard (1 scramble and 1 kneel down). He was sacked 2 times.

With 5 games left they are one game behind Atlanta (5-6) for the division.

Week 13 - Detroit (4-7)

Tampa continues to give their fans hope, this time with a stirring 37-16 victory which left no doubts as they looked the best they have so far this season.

Lawrence was 22 of 36 for 277 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception for a game day rating of 82.2. He ran 4 times for 4 yards and was sacked 1 time.

With 4 games left they are tied with Atlanta at 5-7 with Carolina and New Orleans both 1 game back at 4-8.

Week 14 - @ Indianapolis (9-3)

They have the toughest draw in the division this week. If they can pull this out it will go a long way for their confidence but they are double digit underdogs.

Lawrence struggles and the team falls 23-15 as they are unable to get into the end zone.

He was 23 of 37 for 267 yards with 2 interceptions for a game day rating of 61.4. He ran 3 times for 18 yards and was sacked 2 times.

They now sit at 5-8 and are 1 game behind Atlanta.

Week 15 - @ Carolina (5-8)

What may be the biggest game of the season against a divisional foe. Protection was not good for Lawrence and that led to an overtime sack/fumble which was returned for a touchdown as Carolina wins 23-17 in overtime.

He was 22 of 34 for 253 yards with 1 touchdown for a game day rating of 96.8. He was sacked 7 times and fumbled on 2 of those, including the game loser. HE ran 4 times for 24 yards including an 11 yard touchdown run.

They are now 5-9 and have been eliminated from the playoffs.

Week 16 - Tennessee (6-8)

Lawrence leads the team with a fine game as they win 23-17 (were up 23-10 until a late touchdown).

He was 24 of 36 for 290 yards with 1 touchdown for a game day rating of 100.4. He was sacked another 5 times and fumbled 1 time. He ran 6 times for 11 yards.

Week 17 - New Orleans (4-11)

They end the season with a defensive battle and a 16-9 victory in front of their fans to finish 7-9 (7-3 after the 0-6 start). There is hope for nest year if they can sure up their offensive line.

Lawrence was 21 of 36 for 159 yards with 1 interception for a game day rating of 57.5. He was sacked only 1 time and ran 6 times for 34 yards.

What a way to end the year! 7-3!

The NFC South must have been terrible that year!

Really hoping to get back to this dynasty but have been having major lockup issues with my laptop over the past couple months (went about a month without even trying to boot it up as I was sick of it).

Finally got the laptop seemingly working again but I had to completely wipe and reset it. Think it was a combination of Windows 8.1 and something. Now that it is back to Windows 8.0 it doesn't seem to be locking.

Unfortunately I have lost a lot of what I had on the laptop; managed to save off the important personal stuff when it first started acting up but my game saves didn't fall into that category.
