Well, it was fun, sorta. A bit emotional at times, but fun. Sorry I couldn;t me more of a hoopsguy and convince you of my villager-ness. Good luck gang.

As I mentioned elsewhere it got personal at imtes, and I'ma bow out of WW for a while, and when I come back, hopefully it will be all good, not some good.

I should have made that last sentence a separate post, but you should still answer about that.

If someone manipulates it, does the village not learn something from it? I think this is probably a case of villager against villager. But if someone comes in and saves Abe, then we have more potential information. It is just a crapshoot at this point, but ntn made more sense to me which is why I voted for him.

I was not taking your day 1 vote into account, and I apologize about that. I didn't switch off of him either (as I wasn't in the thread). That definitely lowers my suspicion level.

And you just said if Abe is a wolf, it clears you, but in the other post you said that if Abe comes back a villager, it clears you... Huh?

I guess he has his bases covered, doesn't he?

Actually, I probably meant that I am cleared if he comes back a wolf. But I do like to have the bases covered anyway.

Wow, I didn't realize just how generous the Redskins have been this season. They have given 4 teams their first win of the season.

Right now I'm thinking that one of the hardest working men in football must be punter for the Redskins.

Only one working harder would be Snyder's assistant calling up new potential interviewees for the HC position.

I was thinking the same PB, but odds of hitting a wolf are only going up as we keep lynching villagers and the seer keeps scanning. It's hard to say.

Which is harder - Al Davis or Dan Snyder? Wow, boggles the mind.

So you don't think Abe is a wolf? IMO, both candidates had a lot going for them (as potential wolves). Hard to tell so early in the game, though.

Davis. He'll keep telling you to call the same guys, even though you already told him they aren't interested.

Gotta say Al Davis because of all the play Jamarcus Russell demands when it has been obvious to everyone that that has not been working for a long, long time. But Snyder is pretty rough too.

Other than my vibe, I'm looking at how Abe has reacted, just doesn't seem at all like wolf-Abe. But he could be playing me well.

I could see that. You're right he isn't reacting like a wolf.

As you are half-heartedly playing at bobbing-for-apples, most of your minds are elsewhere.

One of you speaks up. "We need to get down to solving this mystery!! We've already lost two people. We have to

catch the creep who did this."

With that, you all snap out of it, and begin the debate again. The discussion comes down to two people - The Knave of Hearts, and Torquemada. The Knave of Hearts is particularly vociferous in his defense. Instead of being swayed by this, you are almost convinced that he must be lying because of his emotional response.

With the decision made, the officers restrain The Knave of Hearts and place him in handcuffs. Mr. Price comes forward and yanks off the Knave's mask. You are all expecting to see a familiar face, but instead you see a horrificly ugly........thing!!! Huge round black eyes stare at you out of a giant green, noseless head.

"You think you've won, but you haven't!!! I will be avenged!!"

The police take the creature off to another room and lock the door.

You are all elated, and decide to finish bobbing for apples.

Abe Sargent was the Alien!!!

Curious to see who didn't vote Abe at all yesterday but voted him today as they saw the writing on the wall.

And that fumble puts me into a FF tie right now. I have the D/ST of Philly going, he's got nothing. I need the shutout to continue and a couple more plays (+1 per 20 return yds, +1 per sack, +2 on tos, 6 per td).

No obvious efforts to save Abe. Makes me think I am still right about ntn.

Everyone has a great time bobbing for apples, even though danger may still be present.

Scooby is soon crowned the winner after he devours every single apple in 3 gulps. You all aplaud, as Scoob bows and says "Rank ru rery much!!!".

"Rait!! Rhere's Ratman????"

Everyone frantically calls out and searches for the Caped Crusader, but only find yet another note. It reads, "We might have lost one of our own, but now we have your best detective. Velma is ours!!!!".

What are you going to do now, without your star mystery-solver, Velma????

J23 was Velma!!

Hoopsguy looks pretty bad to here. Late switch yesterday plus most of the day seemed like he didn't want to vote Abe only to cave late in the day. Seems like he was trying to gain trust once he realized Abe was gonna go down.
