I believe (would have to go recheck the rules), some citizens start out as corrupted-thus that's why JAG showed up as corrupted, I could be wrong.

This is Gotham Live with latebreaking news. Word is coming in of a third in a string of mob killings, the most brazen yet. Shots were fired tonight in Palace Hills and police have been seen cordoning off the Mayor's residence.

Yes, I'm getting feed right now from a reporter on the scene, and the police have confirmed that Gotham City Mayor T. Jackal has been shot, and is declared dead at the scene. A mob hit of unprecedented boldness, this week has seen Gotham DA behind bars, and now a mayor shot down.

The Jackal was the Mayor.

Sorry for my missed vote too. Was feeling under the weather when I got home from work, wound up sleeping through the deadline.

Can't say I'm surprised at losing 3 villagers, hopefully we can find something to do about The Joker. Hopefully we can come up with something or start catching bad guys.

In wake of the shocking death of Mayor Jackal, more news related to the Joker has surfaced. Newspapers delivered all over the city this morning featured an ad by the clown prince of crime. Horrified newspaper publishers insist they had no knowledge of the ad.

"Take Part in the Newest Sensation! Join the Rising Ranks of Gotham City Murderers! Don't Leave It Up to the Mob! For A Limited Time Only, Be A Part of The Crime.

Yes, that's right, Gotham City. You've had fun living vicariously through those mobsters, watching their hits on your color TVs. You've enjoyed helping me choose who to kill. You're loathe to pull the trigger yourself though. Practice, practice is what you need!

Today I'll give you the choice, two more of Gotham's wonderful citizens. Which one will it be? Your friend and pal Abe Sargent, or that swaggering stud Lathum? Which one do you hate the most? Which one have you secretly been wishing was dead?

Can't choose? Well, that's all right. If you don't choose one, we'll just kill them both! Maybe you're more advanced than I realize, ready to step up to mass murder. If so, please ignore my ad and tune in your television sets at 10:00 pm, Monday. I'll be sure to take pictures.

Nah. If I were a mobbie, I'd wait to see how the village played this for a bit. You had votes yesterday, I didn't. Why make a cryptic reference to something I can;t do just to survive another day this soon? Nope, that's not it.

I'm inclined to go along with Abe here. We really, really need to get rid of The Joker, and Abe is right - this seems little overeager for just trying to stay alive, because my inclination would be to get Lathum killed over him.

If you vow to keep telling jokes if I am killed, I am pretty sure the village will keep me around for the entire game

I am surprised Abe would make such a weak reveal. What does he have to lose by saying what his role is? Joker has already made his decree. It stinks of trying to buy more time to construct a fake reveal.

Factor that in with Abe pushing people towards me, who he know would be an easy target, then backing off when it looks like I probably won't be lynched.

The main problem with Abe's reveal is if he truly had the ability to take me out, why not keep quiet? I doubt anyone but batman could possibly take me out, and if he is batman I couldn't kill him anyway unless he revealed. Further, when picking you two I figured either Lathum or both of you would be killed, so he probably could have seen how the votes fell and avoided revealing at all.
