Had to look him up on IMDB...I knew the name, but, just could not remember the face.
I have to admit, I would not have been surprised that he was already gone. Also had a part in Old Yeller. RIP 'King of the wild frontier'

What does "died of complications from old age" mean? I don't really read obituaries, so I'm lost as to what this could mean.

Bill Simmons said in his chat earlier (paraphrasing):
"Guy who played Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone died today. That doesn't bode well for Sam Houston...or is it Ewing Theory?" I laughed. RIP to this gentleman. Davy Crockett is part of my family tree somehow (allegedly). That last part really has nothing to do with anything; just a useless factoid. |
