FOF - Nike Combat Style

Wade and I came across some custom Nike Combat uniforms, so we started digging. We found a template for the uniforms (rezland's deviantART gallery) and I threw together a quick uniform for his WOOF team, the Hampton Roads Scholars.

We also tried another uniform, inspired by a PhD graduation gown, but ultimately decided they just weren't that good. We ended up just pulling in the three arm stripes to the other uniform.

So, anyway -- the template is there if anyone wants to use it. I can also try to find time to mess with some teams if people want.

Thus one of the reasons we went with the other one.

Come on guys, do you really need to trash this?

Edit: And people tell me my jokes are why people have left FOFC.

You can be absurdly over-sensitive when you want to be.

How about a sweater vest type jersey look? Being the scholars and all.

I think they are cool though. Might not want the middle stripe going down all the way though. Maybe have it be a V down to the stomach/waist.

:shurg:

I was fine with the jokes, I took more issue with the image that I personally wouldn't someone walking up behind me at work while it's up.

I'm not saying it's boxable or anything like that, just junks up what I hoped would be a fun thread.

Try the black/orange with white numbers and white paints with an orange side stripe(no borat). I like most of that design.

Trola,
If you're going with a graduation look, I think shiny personally. Give it a glossier look.

Very cool.

I like the numbers and "Scholars" a bit better on the second set (but probably not that in the yellow/gold).

I'm on an 8 hour bus ride, so I messed with a couple more, all from IHOF:

Williamsburg Colonials

Georgia Gridlock

Neverland Ranch Hands

I couldn't resist that one..

Thanks. The guy that did the template did most of the work -- I'm mostly just coloring and copying and pasting logos.

Damn. checking out this thread for no reason at all, but you should be working in design for a sports league/team lordscarlet. Most, if not all of these are awesome!

Well to be fair, and I know LS would point this out if I didn't beat him to it, all of the actual logos besides Hampton Roads were done by cuervo72.

Edit: And yes, I know you're talking about more than just the logos, just want to make sure no one thinks he is taking credit for cuervo's work.

Designs aren't bad, though I personally don't like the Nike Combat line very much (or the whole "badass" template feel). But, I'm stuffy like that.
