Manziel is 1-2 for 4 yards in the first quarter. I can feel the excitement.

So many commercials. I know this isn't a new thing, but the RZC is totally spoiling me. Trying to watch both the NE/MIA game (wife from MIA) and WAS/NYG (schadenfreude) and I swear both are in commercials 25% of the time. Might not be so bad if commercials weren't getting more and more annoying. So watch RZC and miss the flow of a game...or watch a game but not really get any flow bc of the commercials. Neither is ideal.

I know advertising is how this all works, but damn, NFL - you're about to go past the saturation point here, I think.

They went past the saturation point when the cut to commercials after punts and returns.

Yeah, that really might have been the straw. Though it's even worse if you have a TD that goes to review (commercial) comes back upheld and they kick the xp (commercial) then they kick off (commercial).

Belicheck has gotten so conservative at the ends of halves and on 4th down it's un recognizable to the earlier days.

What happened? I saw the major argument with the referees as they were going to halftime.

Johnny Manziel is trying to float passes to his Texas A&M receivers against Rice defenders...uh-oh that might be problematic moving forward.

That was seriously a train wreck of a first half. I didn't expect much and he somehow was lower than my expectations. The accuracy has been horrible. The decision making poor. The decisions LATE. And he doesn't look explosive at all when he does run.

He could come out and light up the second half, but this is really freaking ugly right now.

Santana Moss has been a douche for 10+ seasons, and he's the most mature player on the roster. Shows what happens when your roster is built using the principle of having 50+ flaming a-holes on it.

This may be a Sak question.

In the NFL all turnovers are reviewed. Does an onside kick recovered by the kicking team count as a turnover?

His time in the 40 wasn't that great so there is easily the possibility that his ability to scramble would go down significantly in the pros. He has 25 total yards in the first half. Even down a lot, you could see they were still trying to run the ball versus leaning on their QB.

hope springs eternal for me I guess I'd actually like for Manziel to have success, but the expectations for him coming into this game were just ridiculous, so I'm glad to see him getting the smackdown. I didn't expect him to be this bad though. Hoyer should have been brought back to start the second half while they still have a chance to win this.

I know they made it but why go for it on 4th there. They are owning the game, why not try to punt and make the Browns start deep in their own territory. IF they had missed it there, the Browns would have gotten the ball in good field position and with some sort of spark from the defensive stand.

The Browns haven't stopped the run all game. Go for the throat right here. I think it was the right call.

Old man McCown jukes and jives and dives over the top for a TD! It's refreshing to see expendable journeyman QB's break tackles or actually get tackled in this league.

1. Have San Francisco be better than Seattle today to keep my beloved Cardinals in the lead of the NFC West (then they can be terrible again when they face the Cards last game of the season).

2. Have Buffalo this week and everyone else on Green Bay's schedule, beat the Packers. Thus making it easier for my playoff bound beloved Cardinals to get a bye in the first rounds of playoffs. I thought about asking for an injury to Aaron Rodgers, but that would probably put me on your "naughty" list.

3. Have Carolina by some Christmas miracle win the NFC South on the off-case that #1 and #2 you can't make happen and the Cardinals fall to a wild-card. Arizona owns Carolina in the playoffs. Given the recent scare with Cam Newton, won't it make for a nice Christmas story to have Derek Anderson to have a reunion with his "beloved" Cardinals friends?

4. Please have the Eagles beat Dallas tonight so my beloved Cardinals don't have the chance to play with a healthy Tony Romo against them in the playoffs. And because I think the Cards have a better chance against the Eagles. And because everybody hates the Cowboys anyway. I'm sure Jerry Jones is permanently on your "naughty list" right? And oh yeah for the love of Candy Canes, don't let them tie this week!

Thanks Santa, Merry Christmas!
Thomkal (not real name)

P.S. This was all done in fun for fans of the teams mentioned here-don't take it personally please.

So far so good Santa!

So hoping Buffalo makes the playoffs after that big win and "pretenders" like Miami and Cleveland, falling apart.

What was Manzell's final stats?

10/18 for 80 yards, 2 INT, 3 sacks, 27.3 rating and 5 carries for 13 yards.

Glad Green Bay lost so I don't have to feel conflicted on wanting the Vikings to win. I'd rather see Detroit win the division and now Detroit should still control their own destiny even with a loss today.

I'm calling the Ravens as AFC North Champs.

There's no way the Bengals will win in prime time against the Broncos next week and I think the Steelers will lose one of their last two. With the Ravens playing the Texans and Browns I think they'll win out and take the division.

That tie is looking worse and worse by the week. Bengals lose both and finish 1/2 game out of the playoffs.

Rodgers still threw for 100+ more yards. Aikman even made a comment how compared to his first game Manziel played well. Aikman also threw for 100 yards more.
