Rivera Best CL Rookie in 2140
Saturday, November 12th, 2140: The Continental League Benny Myers Rookie of the Year Award winner for 2140 is Luis Rivera of the Noblesville Millers.

This season the 26-year-old left fielder played in 153 games, recording a .304 batting average with 14 home runs, 48 RBIs and 66 runs scored.

Gómez Is RL's #1 Rookie
Saturday, November 12th, 2140: Toronto fans have reason to cheer today as center fielder Javier Gómez brought home the Republic League Benny Myers Rookie of the Year Award for 2140.

He put together a .294 batting average on the strength of 172 hits and swatted 13 home runs. He also racked up 74 RBIs and scored 89 runs, signaling that this might be the beginning of a solid baseball career.

CL Best Mound Performer Named
Monday, November 14th, 2140: The Halifax Winter Wolves have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making.
It's Félix Román, this year's Continental League Gabriel Prado Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance.

Román compiled a 20-4 record in 32 starts, tallied 152 strikeouts in 218.2 innings and recorded a 1.98 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .205 batting average against him.

Great Season For Sánchez, Wins RL Gabriel Prado Award
Monday, November 14th, 2140: The Republic League made the official announcement today. The 2140 Republic League Gabriel Prado Award has gone to Paco Sánchez of Hartford.

He had a superlative season, chalking up a 20-7 won-lost mark with an impressive 2.59 ERA.

Sánchez logged 32 starts, threw 250.2 innings, yielded 236 hits, struck out 141 and held the opposition to a .248 batting average.

Tuesday, November 15th, 2140: The 2140 Continental League Hideaki Tanaka Award has been picked and the honor went to the Brooklyn Brownstones hitting machine, Dave Davis. He compiled a .339 batting average with 211 hits, 37 doubles, 1 triple and 20 home runs, along with 110 RBIs and 107 runs scored.

RL Announces Best Batter Award
Tuesday, November 15th, 2140: It's been a year of triumph for veteran Armando Bonce of the Hammersmith Hooligans as he hit his way to the 2140 Republic League Hideaki Tanaka Award.

The 30-year-old veteran compiled a .336 average and .408 on-base percentage by putting together 208 hits, 44 doubles, 2 triples, 46 home runs and 75 walks. He also scored 113 times and drove in 157 runs.
