I wrote a while back that in the event of a tie, we'd do it like they did in the old school days. A best-of-5 game playoff to determine who would go to the World Series.

I'm deleting the all-star game, because it doesn't matter and because it gets in the way of scheduling and since these games are regular season games, I'll be simming them right now.

Looks like it wouldn't matter which as Boston is lower team number and alphabetically so I would assume in a three way tie Boston would have won.

Home field is going to the team with a better head to head record against the other. Colorado is 12-10 against Boston, so they get home field. This is the setup. First to 3 wins it.

Huh, not sure why that didn't occur to me. Fair way to figure it. But, wow, how many of those games were tight? One close loss becomes a close win and this whole series turns around (homefield wise anyway).
