Wow, even uglier then expected for Rio Grande. I hope it's more pitching problems then hitting, probably both though.

NOTABLE STUFF
Rio Grande is 8th in the CL in team ERA. But Pablo Guerrero is 11-3 with a 2.19 ERA and 93 strikeouts
Mike Primm of Texas is 12-6 with a 3.52 ERA, but the Travelers are 8th in the CL in hitting and 7th in team ERA
Columbus' Jose Isla is on pace for 36 HRs and 118 RBI (he currently has 20 HRs and 66 RBI, both league leading)
Rookie Cheng-qian Khu lived up to his ratings hype, despite starting the year with one star. He's hitting .294 with 18 HRs and 57 RBI for Chicago
and is on pace for 32 HRs and 101 RBI this year.
Raul Ramos is 7-4 with a 2.39 ERA for San Diego.
Alejandro Corona is hitting .312 with 14 HRs and 41 RBI for Toronto.

We cut the gap on Hartford, but if Chicago keeps having months like that, they'll be back in the race by the end of the month.

If there is something you wanna know about a particular player or something about your team, shout it out. I'm gonna go get something to drink and I'm stalling for muns, he wanted to see it unfold and he should be here any minute...if he's not back when I get back upstairs, I'll keep going, but...I know if you're having a season like me, I'd want to know certain things.

How is Artie Wiley doing? I switched things around a little and I'm worried about his stamina. And what's my team batting average looking like?

... And whose leg do I have to hump to finish above 500?

He's back to 4-stars. muns was right. He's the goods.
I suspect the CL helps him pitch better, tho.

Had high hopes for Texas. I think their problem is, those kids left their bats at home after spring training. Have no idea what went on down there. And Valdosta -- as usual -- and Atlanta ended up being a lot stronger than I think the pundits realized.

That is pretty crazy. He will never match his rookie year I bet.

Rio Grande is aiming for worst record in FOOL. Go boys go!

August is my toughest month schedule wise. I'm guessing that the CL will close alot more by the beginning of September as I'll probably go around .500 for August at best.

September however is my easiest month schedule wise.

Trust me, your fine. You know how long its taken me just to get into contention around here??? Im interested in seeing if you had off years with more than a few guys.... It happens, especially to the former Boston club. You made some really nice moves. I think your gonna be just fine.

Toronto's office has a case of bubbly and a case of Jack Daniels, side by side. Which will we open? Stay tuned for the next two weeks to find out.

And don't sell your JD stock.

I clearly jinxed my team by saying they would finish 5th or 6th this year. It pissed them off enough they are flipping me the bird for having no faith with each run they give up.

Nah, it's a good team. Those bats just did NOT show up this year. And from a team with high expectations, it's clear what happens when your guys just DON'T show up. It's not a slight, that team was down in the dumps. It's been great work to get them up to where they are now. They're not far away, I still say.
