1986 Regular Season Thread

For the first time in a while, I really am not sure who any of the four playoff teams will be. Am looking forward to see who emerges to compete this season.

Just a note, we might kick off a bit later tonight than 10pm ET. Maybe about 30 minutes or so, but it shouldn't be terribly late tonight.

Hi Alan, did you get my email from work?

Obviously, I am home now (just got home). I am leaping into the game to get things set up.

Gawd, work sucked today. Only thing that sucked worse were the morons driving around me most of the way home.

No problem Chief, just say when done. I'm running a little late tonight because the wife wants a little more quality time until this movie is finished. Shouldn't be terribly long.

I watch alot of movies (I have 1654 movies rated so far on my netflix account), and watch a ton of movies multiple times (some up to 50+ times). My wife despises that and requires watching new movies that we hadn't seen. So it was either watch that or watch a movie called "Broken"...

It just so happens we're watching Broken now anyways.. but I'll do this while watching that one

Ah don't worry, I'm actually curious about that movie, Ewe Bol and all. Was it as funny bad as the previews, or just bad, or actually good?

I'm impressed...at first i thought "1654...pfffft...I can beat that!" but then i looked at my imdb count, and I am no where near that...
Granted, I probably havent ranked any in the past 2 years but you blow me out of the water!

I am the wrong person to ask. I am notoriously easy going as far as movies and tv shows are concerned. As long as I can make it through the movie , it is tolerable for me. If I am somewhat entertained then I enjoy it. I know people slammed this movie, but I enjoyed it enough to give it 3 out of 5 stars.

Well keep in mind that I work from home, get 2-3 movies a week from netflix and have all of the movie channels. I watch alot of movies

I think tonight needs a signing listing after the first month so people can gloat. It will add to the atmosphere.

I can't answer that question for you. But I know he doesn't have all that much time early on. He likely set his lineup Wednesday night and that was his last export.

Have 1 minor salary cap violation I need to take care of real quick, and then 3 PMs to send and then I'll start this up.

That said, I did just look in my file, and he has 26 players on his MLB roster.

Hmm, brittdad has 27 players on his MLB roster and didn't export. I also don't remember the last time I saw him post. I hope he's still around.

Everyone has exported since the break except for two people. I put Rio Grande on vacation mode just for this season to check in with Cringer and make sure he is ok.

I think alot of people are out of practice after the beak. Remember the minor league teams can only have 25 players as well. Had to fix a ton of teams in the minors who had roster violations.

I'm interested to see who gets him, and for what money. I can't believe he went unsigned. I tried to lowball him at one point and got rejected, but I expected somebody to pony up.

Good get, Tasan.

If I needed to use valuable sal cap space on him, I would have, but I have a strong enough pen that I could afford to continue to lowball him just in case (and lost him, of course).
