Wouldn't mind seeing some more than just the league leader for offensive stats, to gauge if its a freak thing or the ball is REALLY flying. At the midpoint when we usually ask about single players.

It is the midseason mark. If anyone has one player they would like a mid-season update on numberswise, post it here. Limit of one player per team though!

Not surprising. I bet we flipflop a few more times. Crackers are hanging in there though.

I'd like to see the draft about 6 rounds less. But then I suppose the talent at the top would thin out too.

Good idea, Tim.

Hey, Alan, my request is for you to list out the top six HR numbers. No names even needed, just the numbers. Be fun to see if we can see an apparent difference there, or if Barrett's just going nuts.

#4 in both leagues currently for batting avg is roughly a .340 hitter
#4 in home runs is roughly 17-20
#4 in RBI is roughly 62-63

Interesting look at the standings there. kaos comes back from his usual early season swoon (doesn't take a break when he's rebuilding, I guess). brittdad with Wyoming is right there. Tim's team is too good to stay there too much longer. And, look at that, Commo, you got 2nd right now!

Technically that is top 4 RL and top 4 CL

If I do just top 8 straight, it would be the same top 7, but then 3 other guys at 18 HR as well

Last call for any mid-season requests. I think the biggest sign that offense has improved is the pitchers league leaders. In past years we would have several pitchers with below 2.00 ERAs.

Right now the league leader is 2.11 ERA and only 5 pitchers below 3.00 ERA right now. That feels so much better to me.

EEK

Not what I was expecting at all. Maybe the Colorado effect + the league wide bump is killing all my pitchers' ERA? I have one leading the league in wins, but thats a different story.

I'll bet those long fly balls are drifting out of the stadiums in the RL now.

Meanwhile, in the CL, pop ups become generic fly balls.

Close. He had 41 Control on the January 1 before his rookie season. Still, I think with the high Stuff and the fact he isn't a control pitcher anyway, O'Halloran was a good fit for that.

In the long run, Ortiz is going to need his Control (and he'll get there, of course, not sure it will be this year, though).

Ooooo....I could put up some wins in July....only 3 vs Hartford, and a lot of the bottom dwellers on the schedule.

yeah all good points, i wanted him to step in and be my #5 next season so i was just trying to speed up his development.

Marcos Montoya, you have come a long way, bud.

Former Vulture League star and Ranchero farmhand shipped off to Quad City as part of the immense deal thrown together for young superstar SP Craig Davis.

Wow, sweet. Another winning month.

If August is nice to me, this could actually be a winning season.

It's a longshot, though.

Hmm, looks like it will take a phenomenal month from Ann Arbor or San Diego to close that gap. Still looks like a lot up in the air for the Continental Cup, though.

Glad to see I finally increased the lead a little. It's just two games, but 9 games feels a lot better than 7.
