Man, I got my ass handed to me by Louisville - it felt great! Kinda. I tied it up at 14 to end the half, then the game fell apart in the 3rd quarter. I lost my top 2 Qbs to injury, had 4 turnovers, and was down 42-14 within the first minute of the 4th quarter. Final score was 44-21. Brutal.

At least this is going to be a challenge, though. Without the personnel to run my option offense, I'm probably a sitting duck this year. Although I better end up with at least the same record as Rich Brooks got IRL or I'm going to be in the hall of shame.

I said before that I doubted that current gen 08 of NCAA would get any significant updates, but from a control video that was recently released it looks like it is getting some nice gameplay improvements: QB evasion moves with the stick, ability to direct receivers (maybe), and possibly smarter routes on 3rd down where the receiver runs the out an extra yard or whatever is needed to attempt to gain the 1st. It doesn't look like EA has completely abandoned the current gen efforts yet, like I thought they might.
