2168 Best Gloves Picked by CL
Saturday, November 12th, 2168: What does it take to win a Best Fielder Awards? It's a combination of good hands, knowing how to play the hitters, all-out hustle and a willingness to sacrifice your body to make a play. Good speed and a good arm never hurt, either, but not always required. This year's all-defense team in the Continental League consists of: Pitcher: Ken Pearson (Napa Valley Winemakers) Catcher: Jorge Pérez (Brooklyn Brownstones) First Baseman: Carlos Morales (Baltimore Gothams) Second Baseman: Barney Brown (Brooklyn Brownstones) Third Baseman: Tom Lambright (Baltimore Gothams) Shortstop: Jeffery Davis (Baltimore Gothams) Left Fielder: Francisco Pomares (Apex Assassins) Center Fielder: Roberto Velásquez (Apex Assassins) Right Fielder: Jim Kennett (Napa Valley Winemakers) This Year's Best Gloves Chosen by RL Saturday, November 12th, 2168: The Best Fielder Awards winners don't get the recognition of the home run hitters, but they are very much appreciated by managers, their teammates and by the fans, who know the value of defensive excellence. Great defense makes a difference in baseball. This year's top glovemen in the Republic League are: Pitcher: Jesús García (Apex Assassins) Catcher: Martín Pimentel (Colorado Rancheros) First Baseman: Lorenzo Vázquez (Chico Rebels) Second Baseman: Max Plummer (Ann Arbor Winged Lingerines) Third Baseman: Hollis Stedman (Hammersmith Hooligans) Shortstop: Ramón López (Colorado Rancheros) Left Fielder: Harvey Homer (Ann Arbor Winged Lingerines) Center Fielder: Conrad Graham (Ann Arbor Winged Lingerines) Right Fielder: Mike Evans (Chico Rebels)

I really hate when my star 3B goes completely unsigned in FA, denying me comp.
