WMMA 3: UFC, the Train Keeps on Rollin' [TUF 14: See post 119]

I just got WMMA 3 so I figured using UFC and starting a dynasty would be a good way to get accustomed to the game.

The only two rule changes we make are legalizing knees to the head of downed opponents, as well as soccer kicks. Who doesn't want to see Shogun send Rashad's head fifteen rows deep?

Also if anyone ever has requests for fights they want to see, guys they want to see signed, or updates on other promotions, just tell me. I'll get on it.

UFC 125 Main Events Announced

UFC 125, scheduled for Saturday, Week 4, January 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada had it's Main and Co-Main Event officially announced today.

Anderson "The Spider" Silva (27-4) puts his UFC Middleweight Title on the line vs Vitor "The Phenom" Belfort (19-8). The long anticipated match up between two of Brazil's best will finally take place at 125!

In the Co-Main Event, the UFC Bantamweight Title will be defended for the first time ever, as champion Dominick Cruz (16-1) defends against "The California Kid" Urijah Faber (24-4). Faber finally will be fighting again at his natural weight and he hopes he can keep Cruz from even having one successful title defense.

Also on the show is a lightweight battle between Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone (12-3) and Kenny Florian (13-5). Cerrone hopes to make his UFC debut a success vs KenFlo.

UFC Fight Night: Madsen vs Mir
Thursday, Week 3, January 2011

Prelims

Kenny Robertson d. Carlos Eduardo Rocha (Unanimous Decision). The fight was rated as being decent.

Brad Pickett d. Damacio Page (Unanimous Decision). The fight was rated as being average.

Nick Ring d. Tom Lawlor (Unanimous Decision). The fight was rated as being average.

Joey Beltran d. Antoni Hardonk at 4:26 of Round 1 (TKO - Strikes). The fight was rated as being decent.

Main Card

Cole Miller vs Jamie Varner

Round 1: Miller and Varner feel one another out. Each man focuses on their striking. Miller lands a couple of nice jabs and unofficially takes the first round.

Round 2: Miller attempts to take down Varner twice this round but Varner is able to stuff both attempts. Varner takes control of the striking this round and unofficially wins the round to tie it up.

Round 3: Both men are visibly gassed halfway through the round. Miller tries for two more take downs and is stuffed each time. Miller is able to land some shots on Varner however to win the round.

Cole Miller d. Jamie Varner (Unanimous Decision). The fight was rated as being average.

Amir Sadollah vs Matt Sera

Round 1: Serra comes out throwing bombs. Each men has a flurry of activity but Sadollah gets reckless and Serra drops him with a right. Sadollah is able to quickly pull guard before Serra can do anymore damage. The round ends with a scramble. Good stuff. Serra takes round 1.

Round 2: Serra starts hot and floors Sadollah yet again. Sadollah is able to cover up and the fight continues. Later on in the round Serra counters with another right and again Sadollah is down but he is able to get up. The round ends but Serra dominates. May have been a 10-8 round.

Round 3: Amazingly Sadollah comes in hot to start the round. He pulls off two successful take downs but can't maintain any position. He manages to pull off the round but it is going to be too little, too late.

Matt Serra d. Amir Sadollah (Unanimous Decision). The fight was rated as being decent.

Josh Grispi vs Michihiro Omigawa

Round 1: Both guys are letting big shots fly, but it is a well placed jab by Omigawa that rocks Grispi. Grispi is able to recover and avoid Omigawa's killshot that followed. Both guys unload to end the round, but Omigawa should take it.

Round 2: A slow start to the round turns into a lot of fun as Grispi knockdowns Omigawa with an overhand right. He throws some big shots from mount but Omigawa is able to collect himself and move to half guard. Omigawa gets into a position to attempt a guillotine on three different occasions but Grispi won't be caught. The round ends with both men being stood up. Grispi looks to have tied it at 1-1.

Round 3: Grispi's corner tells him to keep it standing which proves to be the wrong advice. The round starts with both men trading blows, but Omigawa's head movement allows him slip past a jab and counter with a vicious right cross that knocks Grispi out cold!

Machichiro Omigawa d. Josh Grispi at 1:12 of the 3rd round (KO - Punch). The fight was rated as being great.

Main Event: Jon Madsen vs Frank Mir

Round 1: Mir shows the superior wrestling in Round 1 as he kept Madsen against the cage for much of the round before taking him down. Madsen was able to avoid several subs from Mir but didn't do much of anything else. Mir easily takes the round.

Round 2: Mir is tired, but he gets to work again, taking Madsen down with a single leg. He spends a minute gaining some energy back before gaining better position. Mir's ground game is just too much for Madsen, and before Madsen knows it, Mir has a kneebar locked in and Madsen is forced to tap!

Frank Mir d. Jon Madsen at 3:32 of the 2nd round (Submission - Kneebar). The fight was rated as being average.

Leonard Garcia d. Cub Swanson at 1:24 of the 3td round (TKO - Strikes). The fight was rated as being awful.

Main Card

Phil Davis (8-0) vs Jason Brilz (18-3-1)

Round 1: Davis shows his superiority in wrestling with a single leg roughly a minute in. He then passes guard and works into side control. He drills Brilz with a vicious rib to the knees which allows him to get into mount where he rains down blows on a defenseless Brilz causing the ref to jump in and stop the fight!

Phil Davis d. Jason Brilz at 3:22 of the 1st round (TKO - Strikes) The fight was rated as being average.

Matt Mitrione (3-0) vs Pat Barry (5-2)

Round 1: Pat Barry shows his speed advantage early as he moves in and out of Mitrione punches, hitting some big body kicks in the process. Barry gets too cocky on the inside though and after missing with a big right, Mitrione connects with a right of his own which stuns Barry. He then sends Barry down with a left right combo and mounts him, unleashing massive hammerfists causing the ref to jump in and stop the fight.

Matt Mitrione d. Pat Barry at 3:30 of the 1st round (TKO - Strikes) The fight was rated as being great.

Donald Cerrone (12-3) vs Kenny Florian (13-5)

Round 1: Florian, who came in overweight, is putting the weight to good use as he stuffs three Cerrone takedowns. Florian moves around, keeping Cerrone off balance with some solid striking and he easily wins the round.

Round 2: Much of the same in round 2. Cerrone is stuffed on several more takedowns and Florian keeps moving around, peppering Cerrone but never going for the kill. Florian takes round 2.

Round 3: Cerrone starts off hot with a spinning backfist that stuns Florian but he can't capitalize. Cerrone is stuffed on yet another takedown. Florian connects on several big leg kicks that visibly injure Cerrone. The bell rings and Florian takes a decision.

Kenny Florian d. Donald Cerrone (Unanimous Decision) The fight was rated as being average.

UFC Bantamweight Title Fight - Co-Main Event
Dominick Cruz [c] (16-1) vs Urijah Faber (24-4)

Round 1: The fight starts off with both men feeling each other out. Cruz takes to the offense first and peppers Faber but Faber keeps working his way inside and finally double legs Cruz. Once on top Faber easily works his way into full mount where he, much like Davis and Mitrione before him, pummels Cruz. Cruz cannot defend himself and the ref stops the fight!

Urijah Faber d. Dominick Cruz at 4:17 of round 1 (TKO - Strikes) to win the UFC Bantamweight Title! The fight was rated as being great.

UFC Middleweight Title Fight - Main Event
Anderson Silva [c] (27-4) vs Vitor Belfort (19-8)

Round 1: Silva comes out the aggressor and starts overwhelming Belfort before he can even get comfortable. Silva gets into the clinch and dirty boxes some before getting a hold of the neck of Belfort and bring it down into a massive knee that knocks Belfort out cold!

Anderson Silva d. Vitor Belfort at 2:39 of round 1 (KO - Knee) to retain the UFC Middleweight Title! The fight was rated as being decent.

Anthony Waldburger d. Mark Scanlon (Split Decision). The fight was rated as being average.

Brian Stann (9-3) vs Kyle Noke (18-4-1)

Kyle Noke d. Brian Stann at 3:22 of the 1st round (TKO - Strikes). The fight was rated as being great.

Main Card

Ben Rothwell (31-7) vs Fabio Maldonado (18-3)

Round 1: Maldonado uses his speed advantage to move in and out of the pocket. Rothwell is going for power shots but cannot connect. Maldonado keeps choosing his spots and ends up winning the round comfortably.

Round 2: Maldonado is using vicious leg kicks to cut Rothwell down. They are taking their toll on Rothwell who is retreating. Maldonado senses he has Rothwell reeling after a flurry of punches and gets inside. Rothwell covers up and Maldoando backs up and goes back to his jab, except this time Rothwell ducks out of the way and explodes with an uppercut that knocks Maldonado out cold with 5 seconds to go!

Ben Rothwell d. Fabio Maldonado at 4:55 of the 2nd round (KO - Uppercut) The fight was rated as being great.

Demetrious Johnson (7-1) vs Scott Jorgensen (11-3)

Round 1: Jorgensen goes right for the takedown and succeeds. The round is nearly all lay and pay from Jorgensen though he does attempt to get into a full mount but Johnson won't allow him. A boring round for Jorgensen.

Round 2: Johnson starts the round with nice striking but is again taken down with ease. Jorgensen cannot control from the top however and gets swept. Johnson spends the rest of the round trying to get into better position. The round ends and it should be 1-1.

Round 3: Just 30 seconds into the 3rd round, Jorgensen is gassed. His takedown is stuffed off the bat and then Johnson hits a massive leg kick. As Jorgensen is sent reeling Johnson feints to give himself an angle and he knocks Jorgensen out cold with a vicious right!

Demetrious Johnson d. Scott Jorgensen at 4:30 of the 3rd round (KO - Punch) The fight was rated as being good.

Co-Main Event
Ben Henderson (12-1) vs Sean Sherk (33-4-1)

Round 1: All Henderson in round 1. He uses a Grecco Roman takedown and then spent nearly all round trying to pass guard to work his way into a sub. Sherk was able to scramble at one point but was taken back down.

Round 2: Henderson with another takedown but this time he gets mount. He isn't able to finish Sherk though so he tries to get an armbar locked in. Sherk is able to stack it and gain side control but he eventually gives up the position. The round ends soon after. Another round for Smooth.

Round 3: Henderson is gassed in the 3rd from all the work he has done on the floor. He has several takedowns stuffed and Sherk lands some solid blows but Sherk doesn't have much in the tank either. The fight ends with Sherk likely winning the round but not the fight.

Ben Henderson d. Sean Sherk (Unanimous Decision) The fight was rated as being decent.

Main Event
Thiago Silva (14-2) vs Stephen Bonnar (13-7)

Round 1: It's a solid tussle early on as both guys are landing a good amount of strikes. None of the blows are major but they are landing. As the round is coming to an end Bonnar makes the mistake of getting too close to Silva who gets him in the Muay Thai clinch. Bonnar cannot escape and in a similar fashion as what happened to Vitor Belfort vs Spider Silva, Bonnar eats a massive knee that knocks him out cold!

Thiago Silva d. Stephen Bonnar at 4:51 of the 1st round (KO - Knee) The fight was rated as being decent.

Igor Pokrajac d. Anthony Perosh at 3:03 of the 2nd round (Submission - Arm Triangle). the fight was rated as being average.

Ken Stone (8-1) vs Nick Pace (6-1)

Ken Stone d. Nick Pace (Unanimous Decision). The fight was rated as being average.

Dustin Poirier (8-1) vs Mark Hominick (19-8)

Dustin Poirier and Mark Hominick went to a draw (Majority Draw). The fight was rated as being average.

Tim Hague (12-4) vs Mike Russow (13-1)

Mike Russow d. Tim Hague (Unanimous Decision). The fight was rated as being poor.

Main Card

Rousimar Palhares (11-3) vs Yoshiro Akiyama (13-3)

Round 1: Palhares comes out the aggressor, pushing the pace and taking the attack to Sexyama. His strategy isn't paying off however as Sexyama is stuffing his takedowns and executing crisp counter strikes. Sexyama takes round 1.

Round 2: Round 2 sees Palhares finally execute a takedown. The submission specialist attempts to pass guard but he can't. He smothers Sexyama for a majority of the round which should tie it up at 1-1.

Round 3: Each fighter is playing it safe in the third round. No takedowns attempted and though Akiyama is attempting to throw some strikes he isn't putting much behind him. Akiyama was the more active fighter in an otherwise boring round and it may be enough to give him the decision.

Yoshihiro Akiyama d. Rousimar Palhares (Unanimous Decision). The fight was rated as being very poor.

Anthony Pettis (12-1) vs George Sotriopolous (14-2)

Round 1: Sotriopolous looks good in round one but he had nothing to show for it for much of the round. Finally he was able to wrestle Pettis down but it was too late into the round for him to be able to do anything with his position. It did give him the round though.

Round 2: Pettis attempts some of his trademark creative strikes but Sotriopolous is too quick and avoids them. He manages two more takedowns but Pettis isn't allowing him to pass guard. Still he is being outpointed.

Round 3: A replay of the first two rounds, except now both guys are gassed. Sotriopolous gains a takedown and the round ends like the other two with George on top but not able to do anything.

George Sotiropolous d. Anthony Pettis (Unanimous Decision) The fight was rated as being very poor.

Chris Lytle (30-17-5) vs Nate Diaz (13-5)

Round 1: What an amazing round! After two boring fights Lytle and Diaz come out banging. Lytle stings Diaz early with a right hook, but Diaz recovers. Lytle then scores a knockdown with a counter punch and goes for a submission. Diaz is able to avoid the sub and then he goes for his own Americana. Lytle is able to avoid the hold but a minute later Diaz locks an armbar in deep. Lytle somehow manages to get out of the hold but it was enough to probably give Diaz round 1.

Round 2: Round 2 is not nearly as exciting as both guys look tired. Diaz puts Lytle against the cage before he takes him down but Lytle is very active off his back and it causes Diaz to allow him to stand. The round ends with Lytle landing some big strikes. It is close but it looks like it is 1-1 so far.

Round 3: At this point both guys are totally gassed. Diaz is trying to push the pace but he doesn't have much left in the tank as is evident by his weak takedown attempts. Still he was the more active fighter and this round should be his.

Chris Lytle d. Nate Diaz (Split Decision) The fight was rated as being decent.

Co-Main Event
Jon Jones (11-1) vs Quinton "Rampage" Jackson (31-8)

Round 1: Both guys go for takedowns to begin the round but neither man succeeds. Rampage is the aggressor and he walks through some big shots. Rampage manages a huge slam on Jones but he can't finish him. Still it is enough to give Rampage the round.

Round 2: Jones starts the round as the attacker but Rampage is too wily to panic. Instead Rampage counters and then he lands a straight left that sends Jones to the mat! Rampage quickly gets into mount and begins raining down massive blows on a defenseless Jones causing the ref to jump in and stop the fight!

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson d. Jon "Bones" Jones at 2:04 of the 2nd round (TKO - strikes). The fight was rated as being decent.

UFC Heavyweight Title Fight - Main Event
Cain Velasquez (9-0) vs Junior dos Santos (12-1)

Round 1: Cain and JDS trade early. Mostly jabs, no power shots. Cain fakes a left and secures a takedown on JDS. Cain easily passes guard and before JDS knows it Cain is in mount. From there it is elementary as Cain destroys JDS with vicious hammerfists causing the ref to stop the fight!

Cain Velasquez d. Junior dos Santos at 2:39 of the 1st round (TKO - Strikes) to retain the UFC Heavyweight Title The fight was rated as being great.

UFC 127 Main Card Revealed

In the Main Event, the anticipated Welterweight Title fight between George St. Pierre (21-2) and Jake Shields (26-4-1). For Shields it'll be the biggest fight of his career. For GSP, Shields may be the last person at 170 who has a legitimate chance of dethroning GSP.

The Co-Main Event is a lightweight battle that pits Clay "The Carpenter" Guida (27-11) against Gray "The Bully" Maynard (10-0). For Maynard, a win can legitimize his title shot credentials, while for Guilda it is an opportunity to get back in the title hunt.

In the heavyweight division, it's the new guard vs the old, as Brendan "The Hybrid" Schuab (7-1) takes on Mirko Cro Cop (27-8-2). Cro Cop is looking to rebound after his loss to Frank Mir, while Schuab is looking for the biggest win of his short UFC career.

Two UFC vets in the light heavyweight division collide as Brandon "The Truth" Vera (11-5) takes on Tito Ortiz (15-8-1). This may be Tito's last chance to show he deserves to stay in the UFC so expect him to come out ready for war.

The opener should be an exciting fight as the feathweights as former WEC champion Mike Brown (24-6) takes on Diego "The Gun" Nunes (15-1). The winner is all but certain to have a title shot in their future.

Tune in Saturday, Week 3, April 2011 for UFC 127!

Chad Corvin d. Josh Curran (Split Decision). The fight was rated as being very poor.

Main Card

Ivan Menjivar (21-7) vs Wagnney Fabiano (14-3)

Round 1: A feeling out round. Neither guy commits to much. Fabiano attempts to clinch but it becomes a mess as neither man gains position but it allows Fabiano the chance to take down Menjivar with a minute left in the round which should give him the round.

Round 2: Both guys come out throwing fists to start the round. Fabiano begins throwing vicious leg kicks that visibly weakens Menjivar. As the round comes to an end both guys are throwing bombs but none are connecting. Fabiano did enough to take the round.

Round 3: Fabiano is going back to the leg kicks and at this point Menjivar can't do much but limp around the cage and go for a KO. Menjivar has nothing left in the tank. Fabiano is trying to finish but he can't. He wins the round and the fight though.

Wagnney "The Silencer" Fabiano d. Ivan "Pride of El Salvador" Menjivar (Unanimous Decision). The fight was rated as being decent.

Dave Branch (8-1) vs Phil Baroni (13-12)

Round 1: Baroni comes into the fight off of a poor camp. Branch seems fresh. Branch is connecting on his strikes while Baroni is catching air. Baroni tries to bully Branch along the cage but Branch smoothly gets away. Later in the round Branch takes Baroni down and gets into side control. He can't lock on his armbar attempt but he wins the round.

Round 2: Baroni is gassed but he stuffs four separate takedown attempts from Branch. Still Branch looks fresh and is continuing to dominant the fight. The round ends with Branch up 2-0.

Round 3: A boring round. Branch gets a couple of takedowns as Baroni is totally spent but Baroni manages to avoid being stopped. The fight ends with Branch passing guard.

Dave Branch d. Phil Baroni (Unanimous Decision). The fight was rated as being poor.

Co-Main Event
Jake Ellenberger (23-5) vs Matt Hughes (45-8)

Round 1: It's an exciting start to the fight as both men trade punches, but Ellenberger lands one flush on Hughes chin knocking him down. Hughes is alert though and it causes Ellenberger to let Hughes stand up. A minute later Hughes shoots and takesdown Ellenberger. He manages to get into full mount but right as he does the time expires. I'll get it to Hughes but its close.

Round 2: Hughes is now smelling blood. He shoots right off the bat and takes down Ellenberger. He once again passes guard and gets side control where he tries an Americana. Ellenberger fights the sub attempt off but Hughes just gets into full mount where he ends the fight with vicious GNP.

Matt Hughes d. Jake Ellenberger at 1:37 of the 2nd round (TKO - Strikes). The fight was rated as being great.

Main Event
Alan Belcher (16-6) vs Chris Leben (24-6)

Round 1: A weak first round that saw Belcher get stuffed on two takedowns. Leben had the better striking and kept pushing the action which easily gives him the round.

Round 2: Belcher is using the counter punch to his advantage this round as he seems to have Leben timed. Belcher moves to the aggressor but it backfires as Leben checks a leg kick and it leaves Belcher wide open to be KO'd with a right cross!

Chris "The Crippler" Leben d. Alan "The Talent" Belcher at 2:27 of round 2 (KO - Right Cross). The fight was rated as being good.

Gleison Tibau d. Joe Lauzon (Unanimous Decision). The fight was rated as being poor.

Main Card

Featherweight Division
Mike Brown (24-6) vs Diego "The Guns" Nunes (15-1)

Round 1: Brown and Nunes both show good defense in the first round as neither man can land any solid strikes. With a minute left in the round Brown manages a takedown that should end up giving him the round.

Round 2: The second round is much the same as the first. Brown gets a takedown and is busy working to get into a position for a sub. He tries an armbar but can't cinch it in. Nunes is absolutely smothered. Brown finishes the round on top.

Round 3: A very lackluster round 3 plays out like the previous two. Brown scores another takedown and cinches the fight.

Mike Brown d. Diego Nunes (Unanimous Decision). The fight was rated as being poor.

Light Heavyweight Division
Brandon "The Truth" Vera (11-5) vs Tito Ortiz (15-8-1)

Round 1: The two vets trade shots early, but then it is a defensive fight as both guys stuff each others takedowns. Vera lands some decent blows to end the round and give him the lead.

Round 2: The excitement starts right away as both guys hit big shots. Vera rocks Ortiz but he tries following up his shot with a takedown. Ortiz sprawls and has Vera in a loose front facelock. Tito begins throwing bombs to a prone Vera and sends him down. He gets on top and begins a nasty GNP that forces a stoppage!

Tito Ortiz d. Brandon Vera at 1:29 of the 2nd round (TKO - Strikes). The fight was rated as being good.

Heavyweight Division
Brendan "The Hybrid" Schuab (7-1) vs Mirko Cro Cop (27-8-2)

Round 1: Cro Cop looks like the fighter of old as he is overwhelming Schuab with his striking. He hits Schuab with some vicious leg kicks that have left Schuab injured. He then begins to throw some punches and has Schuab reeling as the round ends.

Round 2: Schuab is leery of being leg kicked and looks tentative. Cro Cop explodes with a barrage of punches that stun Schuab. A right leg kick sends Schuab down and Cro Cop finishes him off with GNP!

Mirko Cro Cop d. Brendan Schuab at 0:58 of the 2nd round (TKO - Strikes) The fight was rated as being decent.

Co-Main Event/Lightweight Division
Gray "The Bully" Maynard (10-0) vs Clay "The Carpenter" Guida (27-11)

Round 1: It's what you'd expect in round 1 as both men try to use their wrestling to their advantage. Its' a slow round that most likely ends up in the favor of Maynard.

Round 2: Guida comes out firing on all cylinders in the second. He stuns Maynard with a flying knee but Maynard stays up. Guida keeps the attack on but Maynard is showing remarkable heart by staying up. The round ends with Guida tying it up.

Round 3: Both guys are gassed in the 3rd round and Maynard uses it to his advantage as he keeps Guida pressed against the cage for much of the round. It isn't pretty but Maynard should take this.

Gray Mayndard d. Clay Guida (Unanimous Decision). The fight was rated as being poor.

Main Event/UFC Welterweight Title Fight
George St. Pierre [c] (21-2) vs Jake Shields (26-4-1)

Round 1: Shields is on the attack to start the fight. He tries four takedowns to no avail, but as the round is ending he throws a barrage of punches that stun GSP enough to execute a takedown and take the round.

Round 2: GSP comes out and goes for a takedown to start the round. He succeeds but ends up stuck in a triangle! The triangle is locked in deep, but GSP is able to get up and absolutely demolish Shields with a vicious powerbomb! Shields is stunned and GSP is right on top of him with huge blows. The ref has no choice to stop the fight! What a finish!

George St. Pierre d. Jake Shields at 1:57 of the 2nd round (TKO - Strikes) to retain the UFC Welterweight Title. The fight was rated as being great.

Main Card

Lightweight Division
"The Young Assassin" Melvin Guillard (26-8-2) vs "The Fireball Kid" Takanori Gomi (32-6)

Round 1: We find out before the fight Guillard was battling an illness during his camp and isn't 100% for this fight. He looks sluggish and that is dangerous vs Gomi. He averts disaster for most of the round but at the end of the round Gomi lands a barrage of punches, then as Guillard retreats Gomi starts to chase him and ends up landing several big body blows to end the round.

Round 2: Gomi attacks Guillard's legs in the second. He is trying to destroy Guillard's will and he is succeeding. Guillard is showing heart as he keeps on battling but his defenses are down and he walks into a straight right that drops him. Gomi hurries to lock on an armbar and it is deep leaving Guillard with no choice but to tap!

Takanori Gomi d. Melvin Guillard at 3:15 of the 2nd round (Submission - Armbar). The fight was rated as being average.

Welterweight Division
"The Natural Born Killer" Carlos Condit (26-5) vs Matt "The Terror" Serra (12-7)

Round 1: Serra wastes no time as he runs right at Condit and catches him flush in the chin! Condit drops to the ground and much like Gomi in the prior fight Serra is quick to lock in an armbar! Condit can't defend it and he has to tap!

Matt Serra d. Carlos Condit at 0:47 of the 1st round (Submission - Armbar). The fight was rated as being good.

Light Heavyweight Division
Ryan "Darth" Bader (12-0) vs Alexander "The Mauler" Gustafsson (10-1)

Round 1: Gustafsson shows reckless abandon at the start of the fight as he tries to use his striking to slow Bader, except Bader is avoiding all of his strikes. Finally Bader times a takedown and Gustafsson is done for. Bader passes guard with ease and is in full mount. From there it's GNP city and the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Ryan Bader d. Alexander Gustaffson at 4:03 of the 1st round (TKO - Strikes). The fight was rated as being great.

Co-Main Event/Middleweight Division
Chael Sonnen (25-11-1) vs Michael "The Count" Bisping (20-3)

Round 1: A slow first round where each guy spends several moments with the other against the cage. Bisping is the more active of the two guys though as he has some decent strikes so the rounds end in favor of Bisping.

Round 2: Bisping and Sonnen go back and forth. Sonnen is not shooting at all. Bisping eventually goes for a trip. Sonnen attempts to lock on a choke but in the process allows the takedown to occur. Bisping passes guard and is in mount where he locks on an armbar and for the third time tonight we have a decision via armbar!

Michael Bisping d. Chael Sonnen at 4:32 of the 2nd round (Submission - Armbar). The fight was rated as being average.

Main Event/Heavyweight Division
Brock Lesnar (5-2) vs Antonio "Minotauro" Rodrigo Nogueira (32-6-1)

Round 1: Brock escaped danger in the middle of the round when Nog had the Muay Thai clinch on Brock but Brock was able to power out and reverse it. He missed a massive knee which would have ended the fight and then Brock decided to give up the clinch. Brock took Nog over to the wall but the round ended before he could get the takedown.

Round 2: A very boring round two. Brock bullied Nog some more and went for the clinch but couldn't succeed. Brock has been handling Nog but Nog is still around. Still it is 2-0 Brock.

Round 3: A gassed Nog attempts to takedown Nog but it is a mistake. He has nothing left and ends up facedown after Brock's sprawl. Brock unloads on a prone Nog causing Nog to turtle and the ref steps in to end it.

Brock Lesnar d. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira at 1:41 of the 3rd round (TKO - Strikes). The fight was rated as being decent.

Round 1: Edwards comes out with his creative striking and quickly brings the crowd to their feet when he hits a spinning back kick that knocks down Danzig. He goes for the mount but Danzig is able to pull half guard so smartly Edwards lets him up. Danzig is obviously hurt and Edwards knows it. He comes in with a beautiful spinning backfist that knocks Danzig out cold!

Yves Edwards d. Mac Danzig at 3:18 of the 1st round (KO - Spinning Backfist). The fight was rated as being good.

Middleweight Division
Court "The Crusher" McGee (13-1) vs C.B "The Doberman" Dollaway (11-2)

Round 1: The first round was a showcase of each mans wrestling but neither allowed themselves to be taken down. Mcgee showed good poise as he was able to get Dollaway against the fence and he controlled much of the round. Mcgee also landed some very nice strikes that shook up Dollaway.

Round 2: Mcgee is showing his solid striking now. He is using leg kicks to keep Dollaway honest and it is clearly affecting him. Mcgee keeps trying to take Dallaway down but Dallaway is still holding on. Mcgee goes back to his strikes. He stuns C.B with a nice jab but his takedown is stuffed and it allows Dallaway to successfully take Court down. Still it probably isn't enough to win him the round.

Round 3: C.B is pressing Mcgee now but Court is showing good poise and not getting panicked. Dallaway comes in for a takedown but Mcgee has it timed perfectly and he blasts Dallaway with a vicious right cross sending him to the mat. Mcgee quickly gets into position to lock in an armbar and Dallaway is forced to tap!

Court Mcgee d. C.B Dallaway at 1:15 of the 3rd round (Submission - Armbar). The fight was rated as being decent.

Nelson starts to attack but is rocked by a big right counter. He regains his wits and is able to get out of the round in one piece but Kongo clearly has the advantage.

Round 2: Kongo looks again for the kill shot and he rocks Nelson with another right but Big Country refuses to go down! Now Kongo is gassed and his punches are missing their mark. Nelson begins unloading with jabs and straight punches that have Kongo reeling. Kongo throws a wild right that Nelson ducks under and then explodes with a right cross that puts Kongo down. Nelson quickly locks in an armbar and Kongo is done!

Roy Nelson d. Cheick Kongo at 3:04 of the 2nd round (Submission - Armbar). The fight was rated as being great.

Main Event/UFC Featherweight Title Fight
Jose Aldo [c] (18-1) vs Michihiro "Micci" Omigawa (13-8-1)

Round 1: We find out before the fight Omigawa had a bad camp. This may be ugly. Immediately Aldo rocks Omigawa with a vicious leg kick that stuns him. Aldo quickly throws a combination that further injures Omigawa. A body kick sets Aldo up for a right hook that drops Omigawa. Omigawa shakes off the blow though and lays on his back hoping Aldo will go into his guard. Aldo smartly keeps away from upkicks and then with amazing speed dives in with vicious right hand that knocks Omigawa completely out!!

- And in our opener, it is a feathweight battle between Chad "Money" Mendes (9-0) and Leonard "Bad Boy" Garcia (16-6-1). The winner of this fight will earn a shot vs Jose Aldo.

Main Card

Featherweight Division
Chad "Money" Mendes (9-0) vs Leonard "Bad Boy" Garcia (16-6)

Round 1: Leonard Garcia starts the action with a right that drops Mendes. He then gets on top and starts raining down blows. Mendes still has his wits about him and he tries to lock a guillotine in. Garcia avoids it and then tries to lock in an arm triangle but Mendes avoids it. Mendes is able to lock on a guillotine from the bottom but it isn't in well enough to make Garcia tap. Garcia throws punches but again Mendes goes for a guillotine. The crowd is loving this action! The round ends too close to call.

Round 2: Mendes is able to shoot a takedown to start the round following a few big leg kicks. Mendes is going back to his submission offense but Garcia isn't allowing it. Garcia forces a scramble but cannot get away. He is facedown as Mendes throws some big shots but Garcia is able to finally escape. This round is all Mendes.

Round 3: Both men are tired but they keep coming at each other. Mendes secures another takedown and works into full mount but his elbows aren't enough to end the fight. Mendes attempts an armbar but Garcia won't allow it. Mendes is throwing shots and staying on top. The fight ends and it has to be Mendes.

Chad Mendes d. Leonard Garcia (Unanimous Decision). [Good]

Middleweight Division
Kyle "KO" Noke (19-4-1) vs Demian Maia (14-2)

Round 1: Maia shows off hsi superior wrestling and takes Noke down with ease. He then just as easily passes guard where he tries to lock in a crucifix but it is stopped. Maia easily passes to side control and locks in an armbar and Noke has to tap!

Demian Maia d. Kyle Noke at 3:43 of the 1st round (Submission - Armbar). [Good]

Lightweight Division
Ben "Smooth" Henderson (13-1) vs Cole "Magrinho" Miller (18-4)

Round 1: Henderson showcases his speed advantage early on. He doesn't land much but he has Miller off balance as he keeps mixing up his timing. Henderson clearly wins the round.

Round 2: Miller is stuffing Henderson's takedowns but Henderson is responding with leg kicks that are clearly hampering Miller. Henderson once again wins an uneventful round.

Round 3: Another uneventful round. Miller did his part to push the action but Henderson is too quick and easily counters much of his attacks and wins the round and the fight.

Ben Henderson d. Cole Miller (Unanimous Decision). [Awful]

Co-Main Event/Heavyweight Division
"Big" Ben Rothwell (32-7) vs Shane Carwin (12-1)

Round 1: Carwin and Rothwell trade early but thankfully for both guys the other misses their kill shots. Carwin decides to take it to the ground where he starts a GNP but Rothwell is able to withstand the barrage. Rather then risk gassing like he did vs Brock, Carwin goes to side control where he hits Rothwell with a vicious knee to the ribs. The round ends with Carwin in control.

Round 2: Both guys are toe to toe but the big strikes are missing. Rothwell gets cute and tries a kick but Carwin catches it and easily takes him down. Carwin quickly ends up in full mount and pounds Rothwell out.

Shane Carwin d. Ben Rothwell at 3:09 of the 2nd round (TKO - Strikes). [Decent]

Main Event/Light Heavyweight Title Fight
Mauricio "Shogun" Rua (19-4) vs "Sugar" Rashad Evans (15-1-1)

Round 1: We find out coming into the fight that Shogun was not mentally ready for this fight. Sadly it shows as Rashad bullies Shogun to the cage and takes him down. He then locks in a crucifix and begins delivering massive elbows that bust Shogun open and the ref has to stop the fight!

Rashad Evans d. Shogun Rua at 1:37 of the 1st round (TKO - Strikes) to win the UFC Light Heavyweight Title. [Good]

Main Card

Lightweight Division
Kurt "Batman" Pellegrino (16-5) vs Ross "The Real Deal" Pearson (11-4)

Round 1: Pearson starts the fight with a flying knee but Pellegrino doesn't go down. Pearson dominates the first half of the round, but Pellegrino starts to land some strikes and he is able to mount a comeback. Pearson ends up with a few strikes to finish the round however.

Round 2: Pellegrino gets back to his strengths as he takes Pearson down and passes guard. He locks in a nasty armbar that is hyperextending Pearson's arm but Pearson won't quit. He finally pops his arm free miraculously. A scramble ensues but Pellegrino doesn't give up position. The round ends with Pellegrino attempting a choke.

Round 3: Pellegrino and Pearson have a nice trade in the center of the octagon but Pellegrino dives in for a single leg. Pearson can't help but tumble back but he stays calm. Pellegrino tries several submissions but can't lock anything in and they finally stand. They trade blows for the last minute of the round but the last 10 seconds see Pellegrino stun Pearson. The bell saves Pearson but Pellegrino takes the round.

Kurt Pellegrino d. Ross Pearson (Unanimous Decision) [Good]

Middleweight Division
Nick "The Promise" Ring (11-0) vs Maiquel "Big Rig" Falcao (26-3)

Round 1: Falcao starts off with some jabs and then moves into some vicious leg kicks that keep Ring at bay. Falcao tries a takedown but is stuffed so he goes back to his leg kicks and jabs. Finally Ring is forced against the cage and Falcao easily takes him down. He can't take advantage though but he does win the round.

Round 2: It's pure striking this round but Falcao just out classes Ring. He is too fast for Ring who keeps missing and can't avoid the strikes of Falaco. Falaco is content with doing this all round and he takes it.

Round 3: It's all Falaco again. Not much more to say. He wins the striking battle and ends up with another takedown. That is all you need to know.

Maiquel Falcao d. Nick Ring (Unanimous Decision) [Decent]

Co-Main Event/Welterweight Division
Diego "Nightmare" Sanchez (22-4) vs Anthony "Rumble" Johnson (8-3)

Round 1: Sanchez is pushing the pace early, attempting several takedowns, but none of them can bring Rumble down. Diego decides to start banging with Johnson which proves to be a bold strategy. Rumble is quick and isn't getting hit. Then with 15 seconds in the round Rumble is able to rock Diego and but the time expires before he can finish him off. Still , it's enough to win the round for Rumble.

Round 2: It's a tale of two rounds as Rumble continues his momentum from the end of the 1st. He lands a big right after Diego misses a jab and Diego goes down but he is able to pull guard. Rumble won't follow him to the ground so Diego gets up. The knockdown seems to have motivated Diego and he starts to drive Rumble to the fence. He keeps him there for a minute before driving him down. Diego is all over him on the ground but the round ends and we're tied.

Round 3: Diego knows he has Rumble now and he comes out of his corner with a takedown that scores. In half guard now, Diego locks on an Americana and Rumble has nowhere to go. He finally taps!

Diego Sanchez d. Anthony Johnson at 1:18 of the 3rd round (Submission - Americana) [Great]

Main Event/Heavyweight Division
Junior "Cigano" dos Santos (12-2) vs Sean McCorkle (11-1)

Round 1: McCorkle knows his only shot is to out wrestle JDS and that is exactly what he does. He goes for a few takedowns but can't score them but JDS is off balance. He throws a leg kick at McCorkle but it's caught and McCorkle takes him down. McCorkle finishes the round on top.

Round 2: A very boring 2nd round that saw another JDS leg kick turned into a takedown. McCorkle tried to get JDS's back all round but JDS was able to block it. Still McCorkle was once again the winner of a very, very boring round.

Round 3: It's yet another boring round. McCorkle gets JDS up against the cage and keeps him there. JDS looks awful tonight. McCorkle is content with keeping JDS up against the fence and mercifully they are separated but they go right back. The fight ends with McCorkle ahead.

Sean McCorkle d. Junior dos Santos (Unanimous Decision) [Very poor]

UFC 130 Main Card Lineup

- The main event is a UFC Lightweight Title fight, as Frankie "The Answer" Edgar (13-1) defends his belt for George Sotriopoulos (15-2). Sotriopoulos may be an odd choice to get the shot at Edgar, but he is on a 9 fight win streak and promises to put on a show.

- In the Co-Main Event, Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida (16-2) looks to snap his two fight losing streak when he faces Forrest Griffin (17-6). Griffin knows how much is riding on the line in this fight as a win could put him in contention for a title shot.

- It'll be a battle of heavyweight bangers as Matt "The Meathead" Mitrione (4-0) looks to continue his winning ways against Travis Browne (10-1-1). Expect someone to get knocked out.

- A big bantamweight fight will also be featured on the PPV broadcast, as Miguel Angel Torres (38-3) takes on Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto (18-3). Torres is one of the biggest names in the division and now he has a chance to prove his worth.

- In the opener, it's a welterweight battle between John "The Hitman" Hathaway (14-1) and Martin Kampmann (17-4). Expect a fun opener when these two step into the octagon.

Main Card

Welterweight Division
John "The Hitman" Hathaway (14-1) vs Martin Kampmann (17-4)

Round 1: Kampmann stuns Hathaway with a vicious body shot and then comes in with a big barrage of punches that drops Hathaway. Kampmann goes for the GNP but Hathaway pulls guard. They fight on the ground before Hathaway gets top control and decides to stand up. The round ends in favor of Kampmann.

Round 2: Kampmann once again stuns Hathaway in the middle part of the round. He goes on the attack but Hathaway is able to once again defend himself. Kampmann is now gassing out but Hathaway isn't pushing the action for fear of being KO'd. The round ends once again in favor of Kampmann.

Round 3: Hathaway's corner tells him to come out swinging and he obliges. He finally connects with Kampmann and stuns him but Kampmann avoids getting KO'd. Kampmann wisely begins backing up and starts firing big leg kicks that take a toll on Hathaway. Hathaway now has nothing left in him and the round ends.

Martin Kampmann d. John Hathaway (Unanimous Decision) [Average]

Bantamweight Division
Miguel Angel Torres (38-3) vs Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto (18-3)

Round 1: It's a great round one as Kid comes in with a spinning backfist that misses and he eats big punches as a result. Torres is able to shoot a takedown and Kid is against the cage. Torres works to a guillotine and locks it on but Yamamoto won't tap. Torres arms begin to gas so he finally gives gives up the hold. The round ends with Torres most likely up.

Round 2: The second round sees much of the same. Solid action all around. Torres goes for the takedown but Kid is too stout and won't allow it. Kid is using dirty boxing against the fence to keep Torres honest. Kid's defense is probably enough to give him the round.

Round 3: As the round is coming to an end Torres begins fighting with the sense he may lose a decision so he pushes Kid against the fence. Kid is set on letting the round in with him against the fense, but Torres makes one last desperation attempt at a standing guillotine and Kid isn't ready for it. It's in deep and he has to tap with 4 seconds left!

Miguel Angel Torres d. Kid Yamamoto at 4:56 of the 3rd round (Submission - Standing Guillotine) [Good]

Heavyweight Division
Matt "Meathead" Mitrione (4-0) vs Travis Browne (10-1-1)

Round 1: The crowd is eating this fight up early as both guys are standing in and trading blows. Mitrione is landing the more powerful punches but Browne has the edge in volume landed. A wild exchange ends the round and the crowd is going nuts!

Round 2: The second round slows down as Browne won't let Mitrione in the pocket to strike. Mitrione is eating tons of leg kicks but it isn't seeming to slow him down. He stalks Browne most of the round but it costs him as Browne is able to steal the round.

Round 3: And now we have a war! Mitrione and Browne come face to face and start throwing bombs. Twice Mitrione connects on big shots that drop Browne but he can't finish him and rather then stay on the floor he motions for Browne to get up. The guys keep trading and Browne lands a big jab that stuns Mitrione near the end of the fight but can't follow it up. We go to a decision remarkably, but it was a damn fun fight.

Matt Mitrione d. Travis Browne (Split Decision) [Great]

Co-Main Event/Light Heavyweight Division
Forrest Griffin (17-6) vs Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida (16-2)

Round 1: Both guys work against the cage during the round reversing their position several times. Finally the ref comes in and breaks it up. Forrest tries to attack Machida but Machida hits a flurry of punches and stun Griffin. He can't get him down though but it should win him the round.

Round 2: The second round is all Machida as he dominants Griffin. He knocks him down with a big right and is able to land some GNP but Forrest manages to avoid the stoppage. A scramble ensues and both men end up on their feet. Machida continues to counter Griffin's strikes and begins using leg kicks that slow him down. Another round for Machida.

Round 3: It's a boring round 3. Machida continues the same game plan and nothing Forrest does works. Finally a boring fight comes to an end with another Machida round in the books.

Lyoto Machida d. Forrest Griffin (Unanimous Decision) [Poor]

Main Event/UFC Lightweight Title Fight
Frankie "The Answer" Edgar [c] (13-1) vs George Sotiropoulos (15-2)

Round 1: It's a round you'd expect out of two grapplers. Frankie looked to impose his will but Sotiropoulos isn't giving an inch. It's a relatively exciting round considering the lack of strikes. Most likely 1-0 Edgar.

Round 2: A boring round. Sotiropoulos goes for takedowns and can't connect. Edgar is landing crisp counter strikes and just letting George gas. Edgar wins the round.

Round 3: Another Edgar round, and it's yet again boring. Just nothing happening anymore. Both guys seem tired from all the takedown attempts.

Round 4: Yet again, a slow paced round that sees failed takedown attempt after failed takedown attempt. Edgar takes it to go up 4-0.

Round 5: There is a little more excitement this round as Edgar goes for some submissions but George is too good to allow them to happen. Edgar wins the round and the fight. Thank god it is over.

Frankie Edgar d. George Sotiropoulos (Unanimous Decision) to retain the UFC Lightweight Title [Very Poor]

UFC 131 Main Card Revealed

- The Main Event is a welterweight clash between two of the divisions most recognizable figures collide. It'll be "The Prodigy" B.J Penn (16-7-1) taking on Josh Koscheck (15-5). For Penn, a win can get him right near the top of the division, while for Koscheck a win can stop a losing streak from starting.

- A potential candidate for Fight of the Year will be the Co-Main Event, as Wandereli "The Ax Murderer" Silva (33-10-1) will go one on one with Chris "The Crippler" Leben (25-6). If this one goes the distance it won't be for the lack of trying to kill one another.

- Phil Davis (9-0) made a name for himself after his dominating performance vs Jason Brilz, and now he looks to move into the divisions elite as he takes on Matt "The Hammer" Hamil (10-2)l. A bright future is in store for the winner of this fight.

- It'll be another welterweight battle as Chris "Lights Out" Lytle (31-17-5) takes on Dong "Stun Gun" Hyun Kim (13-0-1). Lytle took a split decision from Nate Diaz at UFC 126, and now he looks for a more convincing win vs Kim.

- In our opener we will see a battle of lightweights as Dennis Siver (17-7) goes one on one with Chris Horodecki (16-2).

Main Card

Lightweight Division
Dennis Siver (17-7) vs Chris "The Polish Hammer" Horodecki (16-2)

Round 1: Siver is the more impressive fighter in round 1. He is going for takedowns, he is throwing better punches and he has Horodecki on his heels. Near the end of the round Siver punctuates his win of the round with a big takedown.

Round 2: A fun round. Horodecki is waiting out the takedowns now. Siver shoots and eats a right hook for his troubles which stuns him. Siver goes right back for the takedown and his knocked down with another big right but Siver pulls half guard before Horodecki can do much. Both men stand and they throw fists. Siver manages to get a takedown but it isn't enough to win him the round.

Round 3: The third round is not up to par as both guys are gassed. They both put in the effort but the punches have nothing on them and the takedowns are useless. Horodecki is the more active of the two and landed more shots and should get the decision.

Chris Horodecki d. Dennis Siver (Split Decision) [Average]

Welterweight Division
Chris "Lights Out" Lytle (31-17-5) vs Dong "Stun Gun" Hyun Kim (13-0-1)

Round 1: Lytle is bringing the fight to Kim right from the bell. Kim attempts some unique offense like a spinning backfist but he misses and ends up tagged by Lytle who drops him. Lytle locks in a guillotine but Kim won't tap and Lytle finally has to give it up. Still he easily wins the round.

Round 2: Lytle once again dominates the round. He takes Kim down and manages an armbar that is in very securely but Kim pops out of it remarkably. Lytle keeps pounding on Kim and goes back to the armbar, once again applying it in deeply but the round ends saving Kim. May have been a 10-8 round.

Round 3: Lytle takes down Kim again and Kim is just gassed. Lytle passes to side control easily and locks on an arm triangle. This time Kim has absolutely nowhere to go and he is forced to tap!

Chris Lytle d. Dong Hyung Kim at 4:26 of the 3rd round (Submission - Arm Triangle) [Decent]

Light Heavyweight Division
"Mr. Wonderful" Phil Davis (9-0) vs Matt "The Hammer" Hamill (10-2)

Round 1: Davis and Hamill begin throwing punches early with Davis getting the advantage. He rocks Hamill with a big right and Hamill stumbles against the cage. Davis keeps throwing bombs and Hamill drops to the ground and the ref steps in!

Phil Davis d. Matt Hamill at 0:50 of the 1st round (TKO - Strikes) [Good]

Co-Main Event/Middleweight Division
Chris "The Crippler" Leben (25-6) vs Wanderlei "The Axe Murderer" Silva (33-10-1)

Round 1: Surprisingly the first round is fairly boring. Both guys are throwing but it's more jabs then anything and not much is landing. It's hard to find a winner out of this round.

Round 2: Leben's corner tells him to finish this round. Wand comes out and throws a weak leg kick which Leben counters with a huge right followed by more rights. Wand is stunned. Wand collapses down a bloody mess and Leben keeps throwing more shots until the ref finally steps in!

Chris Leben d. Wandereli Silva at 0:25 of the 2nd round (TKO - Strikes) [Poor]

Main Event/Welterweight Division
"The Prodigy" B.J Penn (16-7-1) vs Josh Koscheck (15-5)

Round 1: A very exciting fight from the get go. Both guys throw punches and then Penn explodes for a takedown following a nice 1-2. He gets Koscheck down and passes guard. Penn is able to get behind Koscheck and roll him up enough to slip both hooks in! Penn has a rear naked choke in deep but Koscheck is able to survive over 20 seconds until the round ends.

Round 2: Another fun round. Koscheck rocks Penn against the cage but Penn quickly comes to and ends up locking in a deep standing guillotine but once again he cannot finish Koscheck! He does get Koscheck down but Koscheck actually manages to sweep BJ and fires off some nice punches before standing up. Koscheck lands a few more nice shots as the round ends.

Round 3: A very slow 3rd round. Both guys are gassed. Koscheck has Penn pinned up against the cage for much of the round but Penn begins to throw some punches and ends up taking Koscheck down. He tries another sub but Koscheck doesn't allow it. The fight ends with Penn on top. It should be 2-1 Penn.

UFC 132 Main Card Revealed

- UFC 131 comes to us live from Las Vegas, and will feature a UFC Welterweight Title fight at the top of the card as Georges "Rush" St. Pierre (22-2) defends his title vs Jon Fitch (23-3). GSP is close to having wiped out his entire division, but Fitch is ready for one last shot at at the champion.

- In our Co-Main Event it is a heavyweight battle as Brock Lesnar (6-2) takes on Stefan "The Skyscraper" Struve (21-4). While on paper this looks like it could be very, very ugly for Struve, a win would catapult his UFC career, while a win for Brock puts him one step closer to a fight with the champ.

- Jonny "Bones" Jones (11-2) suffered a one sided defeat to Rampage Jackson at UFC 126 that put his career off track just a bit. Now he looks to get back to his winning ways when he faces Antonio Rogeiro Nogueira (19-4). Expect a fun fight when these two take to the octagon.

- A battle for lightweight recognition will also be featured as Kenny "KenFlo" Florian (14-5) looks to keep on the winning track vs the red hot Jim Miller (19-2). For Miller a win may be what it takes to put him in the divisions elite, while a win for Florian would keep him there.

- And in our opener it will be two grizzled light heavyweights battling it out as "The Janitor" Vladimir Matyushenko (25-5) takes on Rich "Ace" Franklin (28-5). When these two wily vets get into the octagon anything can happen.
