POTUS 2024 - Trump's VP pick
Trump has supposedly made his pick.
Who say you? Donald Trump’s potential vice president picks | CNN Politics The top 3 are supposedly Burgum, Vance & Rubio. But I find it hard to believe Trump will want a "loser" like Rubio. I know nothing about Burgum so going to say Vance. Last edited by Edward64 : 06-25-2024 at 12:25 AM. |

I find it hard to believe that his ego would let him take someone who called him out before he was nominated. I think all three of them have. But Vance seems the most MAGA crazy of the three. i thought at one point is was Kari Lake.
Like Pence he will pick someone who he thinks will help him get people who would never vote for him but would vote for someone from the same race/creed/sex. That could lead him to someone like Scott, Donald,or Carson or a woman like Lake or Stefanik

I think it'll be Scott because Trump is really leaning into the "black people love me" thing at the moment (from what little I've seen - I try to listen to his voice as little as possible), although Vance makes the most sense to me.

I say Burgum. He seems to be a kind of normal counterbalance with actual governing experience. He's also jumped full on the MAGA train the last few weeks.

Burgum is who I expect as well, but I won't rule out a surprise name that hadn't been seriously considered yet.

Yeah, he would be my guess too. Go with the most bland, unknown guy of the bunch, who also won't be seen as any kind of succession threat. (He may have had aspirations in this race, but nobody took them seriously and he had no real chance, nor would he going forward.)
