The Beatles Song Catalog.

Lou Cabrazzi held a gun to MJs head and made him an offer that he couldnt refuse. Jackson gladly accepted a certified check for $1.00.

Is Lou Cabrazzi in any way related to Luca Brasi?

Regrettably, the statement "Michael Jackson sleeps with the fishes" was horribly, terribly misunderstood and resulted in the police discovery of a 28 pound rainbow trout dressed to look like Macaulay Culkin.

We're veering into Man of La Mancha territory with you with this thing, you know?

On a serious note, though - my wife and I just estimated our materials cost for a scratch-baked standard quarter sheet cake at $0.98. With an hour's worth of actual labor and some ingenuity we can sell that cake for $30.

Right now I'd say the answer is a burger king ICEE. Either Cherry or Coke depending on the mood.

Otherwise it's a toasted coconut donut from Tim Horton's.

Back in high school, some friends and I went to Meijer, split into pairs, and walked around trying to see who could find the best thing for under a dollar. The winner was a water gun shaped like a hot dog, so there you go.

Meijer is awesome.

I'll think out of the box....

The bathroom condom dispenser is typically 75 cents I think. The amount of savings from that 75 cent purchase could be in the tens of thousands at least.

You just reminded me of a terribly awkward moment from back when I was 18 or so and I went away on a holiday with my gf and her parents. We were having dinner at some bar, and her dad walked into the toilets just as I was taking a condom out of one of these well-placed dispensers...

Yeah, but where are you factoring in all the tequila you're gonna need to buy her?

Sidney Harman just bought Newsweek for $1. Given that Moon previously owned the Times and sunk tens of millions into the paper, I think the Newsweek deal is better.

Neither one is truly worth as much as the bar-bathroom condom, to be perfectly fair.

You mean it isn't a good investment to take on tens of millions in debts to own a piece of a dying industry?

Perhaps I should rethink my plan to corner the dialup market.

Time may have allowed this entry to pull away from the peloton, but this thread was fun in its day.

Condom remains a strong answer, though.

Any new thoughts?

Got a new digital camera about a year ago. Only came with a usb cord to charge with outlet adapter so camera had to be plugged into wall to charge.

Wanted extra battery plus wall charger but battery alone was ~$12.

Enter new-egg or amazon, can't recall for sure, and I got a battery, wall charger, and car charger for a $1. Shipping was like $1 or $2 but as others have stated I would have had to drive to get the items so I wouldn't include that in the price.
