Yes, I have taken a beating at times on this board for my undying devotion to the University of Iowa. But now, I can be proud. Yes The University of Iowa has finally gotten its due. A #1 ranking.

I can't understate how psyched some of my friends from home are. A lot of blood, sweat, and vomit went into earning this ranking.

Story locally has been how UGA fell out of the Top 10 and what they can do to regain their status.

I never thought of Syracuse as big party school, let alone the top private party school. I thought everybody just drank so much as a source of warmth.

Having gone to UC Santa Barbara, I shudder to think what it's like to go to a school that parties harder than we did.

Wisconsin just hasn't been the same since they shut down the yearly Halloween riots and the usual ridiculousness surrounding the Mifflin St. Block Party is no longer tolerated.
