Just finishing up some work and then I'll have a look at what was posted by Eddie and give it a try.

Ok, walked through the steps Eddie laid out and it looks like it worked...so far.

I had to invite both Sun and BHR. DT and I were already there.

We're now at Week 3 so any of us who had played our games and done recruiting will have to do so again.

I guess the true test will be when we advance to Week 4.

Fingers crossed, gentlemen, we might be back in business.

I've encountered the "currently unavailable" message almost every week for the last 10-12 weeks, but it would usually advance on the second or third try. Did you try more than once?

Ok, after "sleeping on it" I was able to connect to EA...looks like we're good now.

Yeah that error is completely normal as my other dynasty takes 3-4 tries sometimes too.

Uh...how do I convert it to an offline Dynasty? It use to be an obvious button, but I can't for the life of me find it now.

What if I just transfer commish duties to you?

EDIT: I think I went through the file management thing and then had to scroll through all the "file types" until I got to online dynasty and then I think it was one of the options there. I'll confirm that in a bit.

You can not convert to an offline dynasty. They took it out because from what I understood too many people were using it as a cheating device.

I was thinking that Sun was trying to take control back by essentially doing the same thing I just did last night.

BTW, Eddie, thanks for the walkthrough, it was very helpful and easy to follow...even after 6 hours of overtime and 3-4 beer!!!

NP, But you can transfer commish duties to him easily if you need to....It's under dynasty settings I believe. I'm not in the game right now so can't so for certain because once again I have CollegeHoops2k8 addiction

Not sure if my invite to BHR will be valid anymore so you probably should invite him yourself, too. Also, have a look at the settings...I didn't touch them but I don't know if they got messed up during the process.

And nice to see our Cavaliars came out playing tough.

We got up 21 to zip in the first 10 minutes and they were in heavy pass mode the rest of the game against 9 deep.

We had a beautiful pick 6 and a nice over the shoulder grab from the TE.

I was worried about this game as i wondered if last year was going to come back after the restart thing we just went through....

Hey - I just realized as I was on the elliptical at the gym and the sportscenter lady did a drawn out "N...C...A...A" that I didn't get my stuff done last night (was out like an hour and a half later then I thought I'd be and then fell asleep on the sofa shortly after getting home).

Hey guys...my time has been rapidly dwindling with the new job/new house combination. I'm going to open discussion for transferring my role as commissioner over to someone else permanently. I can't guarantee that I can advance us on time anymore, and that's not fair to everyone else here. I'm lucky to get in an hour of game time each week lately, even on the weekends...ugh.

I advanced us this morning to week 4...good luck!

Squashed Kansas with a devastating rushing attack...so bad that our starters hit the showers at half time.

Had a K commit prior to this week's sim and then had an auto-commit this week.

Pretty good week for GT.

OK it sounds as if we are done with the FACC.

DT if you want i can invite you my other dynasty that is the same sim speed 4-5 days(All SEC Ole Miss, LSU, Georgia, and Vandy i know are picked for now) or one that is quicker 3-4 days(pretty much 8 owners and all but 6 teams are available). (same for you Sun if you want)

Sun i understand if you do want to change your mind i am 100% for commishing and simming as we were.
