Anyone watching WSOP Final Tables Live on ESPN360?
I noticed this last night while at work, that espn360 is playing live final tables at the World Series of Poker. We don't get pocket cams, or Norm and Lon, but it's interesting.

I like what they're doing with ESPN360 btw, it's become a home for niche programming (Rugby, (LIVE) Poker, International Soccer), and live events (like the Arena Football League, and up until the NBA conference finals, college soirts)..

Definitely the best way to watch poker is without seeing the hole cards but with expert commentary. Has to actually be expert commentary, though. When no one can see the cards, you actually get to hear about what is going on in the hand instead of odds and check marks and how brave someone is being and star spangled banners going off in someones head and stupid crap like that. It is just way better.

This is something they could NEVER put on TV, they're at 5 hours and 40 minutes, and only eliminated two of the six final table folks (this is a 6-handed tourney), and they're about to take a dinner break. No way could you do this even on a niche Cable/Sattelite cahnnel.

Verizon is one of the few who offer it, but from what I hear it's growing.

I can't wait until ESPN360 has Beer Pong. Then we can get another phase of compulsion "sports" televised.
