Following the case of FBI agent killed on duty
The other thread about the collar bomb got me to thinking about this other local (Pittsburgh) case. Maybe some of the other Pittsburgh area FOFCers have been following along as well. I bring this up as, this morning, the shooter goes to trial today.
Short version: FBI agent killed entering a home, with a warrant, for the husband/father. He panics. The wife/mother, allegedly upstairs, fires at the "intruders". Arrest made in killing of FBI agent Shooter originally called 'remorseful' Korbe remorseful for shooting death of FBI agent Seems this isn't really the case Two sides of FBI agent's accused killer Family members claim vendetta Vendetta against Korbes called 'unlikely' Korbe's attorney claims prosecutors were 'vindictive' And, just recently, the shooter accepts a plea bargain., but still claiming she was coerced. Guilty plea set in killing of FBI agent Her supporters have been very vocal about her mistreatment in the whole story...which makes me want to puke.
