Is this a bug in FOF2004?????
I am playing my first game of FOF2004(Full version) and just finished PreSeason... I started triming my team down to 53 player(46 active). I then notice that all other teams still have 60 players.... I played the first week games thinking all teams would go down to 53 when I did this but now I am in week 2 and all teams still have 60 players???? If this is a bug, it's a big one.....
This is from the on-line doc's: Players highlighted in green are inactive members of the roster, and do not count toward the in-season limit of 46 active players. You may have up to 60 players on the roster up until the end of the exhibition season. During the season, you're limited to 53 players on the roster. |

Are you absolutely sure you're in the regular season ?
Methinks you're still playing exhibition games, where you can carry 60 players. If that is not the case, then it would definitely be a bug. However, since this is the 1st time this is reported on the board (to the best of my knowledge), I'd be very surprised...

AI teams don't cut their rosters down to 53 until immediately before the first game, I'm pretty sure. That means not until you hit the button to sim week 1.

Sim again to week 2, then take a screen shot of one of the teams and e-mail it to me. I can host and post it for you.

Ok... I am 99% sure the first time I sim'ed week 1 the teams stayed at 60... This is very strange but I just tried it again and now they are at 53... I have tried it several times to see if these was something unique I did the first time but I cant repeat it....
I rebooted my PC so I dont know what happen but all looks ok now... I know you all think I am crazy now but I think I really did see this the first time I did it... I wish I had saved it at week 2.... Thanks for the help everyone... |

Haha! Back when I used to work for IBM in Long Beach, we always had a term for Boeing employees who couldn't work their computers:
"...we've got an I.D.10-T error here."

That's still a very common error. In fact, I have it on good authority that at Intel, they often have the same error.

I use OE -- operator error. Another person in my office use to use the ID-10-T, but switched to my OE because it's shorter.
