Some WW History questions...
How many games have the wolves won?
How many games have the villagers won? What is the quickest wolf win? What is the quickest villager win? I am hoping there is someone who have this information tracked. |

I don't know of anyone who has this all tracked currently, but I think there has been some interest in doing this.
Wolves have thrown a perfect game before - SackAttack and I did this in the Star Wars game and I am pretty sure it has happened in others as well. The villagers have won in two days - was one of the earlier games with a vampire theme. As a general observation, the more complex games seem to have favored the villagers and the simpler games have favored the wolves. I believe the games with more roles have been more challenging to balance for the moderators, although others may have differing opinions on this. |

Don't know about win/loss stats for games. That information has not been kept up to date on the firs few posts in games, so it would take some time to compile.
I have a list of who has played in various games and who has GM'd them, but that is it. Just in case you are wondering: Blade has played in the most at 27 Peregrine has hosted the most at 6 |

What's the full list of hosting? I had always thought Neon Chaos had hosted the most.

Out of 103 players, based on number of games you are tied for 11th. Very much a vet Actually, I think the newbie games need a mix of vets and new players to get the most out of the game. I mean the fastest way to learn is to watch those who know a few tricks. |

I'm not so sure this is true, frankly. I think having a few people who have played in a game or two is beneficial, but I think having the vets in there seems counter to an envoirnment that encourages risk taking. But I could be way off base and at the end of the game there could be some feedback from the players about what they thought having some rather experienced players in the game.

I agree, it probably does impact risk taking. But, I think you get to see some players execute basic tactics and explain a lot of little things. So, I think you learn a lot faster. The mafia boards have the newbie games setup requiring a certain number of players with a set number of games as vets to show the new guys the ropes. But they also appear to be pretty picky about etiquette and appear to get annoyed when newbies goof up. Personally I enjoyed playing with some experienced players and learning versus reading through older games. But I can see the appeal either way. |

Although I've never played, I'd be interested in some historical stats:
Which side won and which round, who was on the winner's side, etc . . . |

I'd be interested to hear how many I have played in. I would guess around 8-10...

he hasnt, he is wrongly listed. The game in question did not have skydog as a player...the host of said game killed skydog off to start the game(purely a flavor move, as he killed himself as well).
Skydog never played WW, and didnt sign up for that game. The mod chose him and his death as a way to announce their was evil among us. No, he never played

Love the Chart Saldana. And of course thanks to Gram for compiling the list I should be marked down for Animal Farm too since I came in as a replacement. Giving me a grand total of 3 games, woohoo.

I thought this was the case. I believe it was Anxiety's game and both Anxiety and Skydog were listed in the players roster on the first post. Both Anxiety and Skydog were killed on night zero. Since I did not read through the thread, I listed the game for Skydog and not Anxiety (since he was the GM and obviously not a player). Since it was the only game he listed, I didn't have too much concern listing him. Feel free to delete him, now that we have clarification. Last edited by Grammaticus : 10-06-2006 at 08:15 AM. |

Work. I've incorporated some of the work you've done into the FOFC Wiki. I'd encourage any work on that stuff be taken over to the Wiki so that it could be worked on by multiple people if the mood so struck them.

Never knew I hosted the most games.
I think I've hosted more than I've played, actually. Heh. Can't wait to host another one.... only several more people in front of me.

Taken from the Wiki
http://www.rwbl.net/fofcwiki/index.p...Werewolf_Games Peregrine has hosted 8 games. I have hosted 6 games. Peregrine and myself were pretty much the de-facto hosts in the early days (months? ) of Werewolf. Out of the first 17 games, Peregrine hosted 6, and I hosted 5. I dropped off for a couple of years before hosting my recent game, Beneath The Iron Cross.

My upcoming game will be my 6th hosted game as well, but I'm guessing Barkeep or a couple others are probably up to 7th or 8th as well now.
