Werewolf Small Game VI -- A Bowl of Red (GAME OVER CHEATERS WIN!)
There is trouble afoot at the Greater Werewolvia Chili Cook-off. Last years winner, Winnie Vandergroot, has apparently had her special Chuck Wagon Chili recipe spiked with pickle juice just as the judges came to her booth! There has been a pause in the action as the judges realize there may be cheaters amongst the contestants. Can they find them before they season again?
This is a very small and basic Werewolf game. I am limiting it to 11 players. I'm planning to send out roles sometime Wednesday or Thursday, but can start earlier if we fill the roster and everyone is amenable...full rules will follow before game start. Signups: 1. Barkeep49 2. SnDvls -- veteran contestant, lynched day 4 3. MollyMurphy 4. ImTheCrew -- organizer, lynched day 1 5. Jonathan Ezarik -- guard, eliminated night 4 6. Dodgerchick -- regular contestant, lynched day 2 7. ntndeacon 8. Blade6119 -- regular contestant, eliminated night 1 9. Marathoner -- regular contestant, lynched day 3 10. Chief Rum 11. bsak16 -- regular contestant, lynched day 5 Alternates: 1. Tyrith 2. Alan T

Rules: This is a basic game of Werewolf. Your goal is to find the cheaters. If the cheaters get to an even ratio with the competitors they win. The competitors win if they eliminate the cheaters.
You must put your entire vote in bold before the deadline each day, for example: VOTE PATH12. Non-bolded votes will not count. You may change your vote as often as you like, but must unvote (in bold) your previous vote before voting again. Ties will be broken by the longest held vote. Roles will be revealed upon elimination. Night actions must be PM’d to me before the night action deadline. Feel free to PM me with any questions you might have. Everyone (good and bad) has a name and a recipe name assigned to them, and have all received different initial PM’s. Roles: Good: Organizer (Seer) – Got to know all contestants while setting up the cookoff. Can check one competitor each night to see if they are a cheater. Guard (Bodyguard) – Can guard any one competitors chili each night. If this chili is targeted by the cheater the cheat will fail. There is a 50% chance that the guard will see who made the attempt. Cannot guard the same person two days in a row. Veteran Competitor (Hunter) – If the game ends up with the Veteran Competitor and a cheater then the veteran competitor will catch and reveal the last cheater, thereby winning the game for the competitors. Regular Competitor (Villager) – Wants to find the cheaters before they spike their chili! Bad: Cheaters (Wolves) – Can PM each other. Can attempt to spike one person’s chili each night. Nosy Competitor (Sorceror) – Spied the cheaters plotting so knows their identity. Wins with the cheaters but counts as a regular competitor for ratio purposes. Roles will be going out soon. I'll use the player list in the first post to reflect current status.

Path, I'll be an alternate as well if you need someone to start the game.
Since I'm doing the next large game, I'd rather sit out and let someone else play with more time to dedicate (if I live long enough for it to matter). |

Not yet, it seemed a small enough game that I hoped it would fill pretty fast from people in here. I'll look back and figure out how to post a link and then put a notice in there today.

I've thought a lot about moving to Austin myself. I love that town. Maybe in a couple of years once the stepson is out of college.

Out of college! I also thought you were much younger; I thought tanglewood and Tyrith were older and they're both 19 I think. Austin is a beautiful city and there's so much to do; it kinda reminds me of my beloved So.Cal without the smog and horrendous traffic. I think the news stated that about 40,000 are expected to move here this year alone! Last edited by Lorena : 02-12-2007 at 02:36 PM. |

bsak can have my spot if need be, though I am sad to miss out playing another game. However, letting new players play is far more important. Welcome bsak!

Okay I'll join in. Ya'll will just have to be a little patient with me. I've never played, but i have read the rules up top.
Maybe Alan T can teach me how to be a Werewolf player like he taught me how to be a OOTP GM. |

I was far more successful in OOTP than I ever was in WW. Plus my help likely will get you "killed" in this game very early on. I'm not playing this game, so I'd be happy to help PM with you if you have questions and want to ask me. I'll stay neutral/unbiased so I can try to help if you need/want. |

OK kids, here's the plan since we're full up now:
I'm going to get rules posted and roles sent out sometime late this afternoon/early evening. Normal deadlines will be 10PM Eastern with night actions due by 10AM Eastern the following morning. HOWEVER: Day 1 will have an early deadline, since the lovely yet formidable Ms. Path has made it quite clear that the computer is off-limits for Valentines' Day. So day 1 will have a deadline of 7:00 PM Eastern, so I can process at work before heading home. Glad to have you all playing (especially the newer folks) and I hope you enjoy the game. You will all have names assigned and a title of your particular chili -- feel free to ham it up!
