I always have wierd ass dreams tho.

My wife dreams about actuarial problems when she studies too much -- I just thought you were studying my spreadsheet intensely all evening, getting immersed in the game.

And my cats had trouble adjusting to the place we moved into -- one of them stayed nestled between two boxes for a day, and we had to bring food and water to her. The other one stopped cleaning herself, and looked like she was in Lord of the Flies or something. Hmm, that's a good theme for a WW game, too.

I'd imagine there will be lots of purring, meows and claws out at stages through the game

Yeah, I could have the sign-ups up tomorrow, and we could start the game by Thursday or so.

That's ok. I still have some work to do on it anyway. I can wait for as long as I need to.

Personally, I'd rather not wait that long for the next game, but will follow the groupthink.

Holidays always mess up these games. I think the current workaround is pretty good. Delay Schmidty's for a week and run Lathum's small game in the mean time.

Yeah, I would sign up, but I already know my main job has me on two hour overtime three of the five work weeks days, and on a fourth (at least), I will be working at my second job at night. Just about impossible for me to play in that.

Could I throw my hat into the ring for moderating when there is an opening that arises. I don't think that I can be a regular in the rotation though as I never know where my work may take me (in a couple months I may be spending about a month in India again).

I would like to give my idea a try at some point (probably been done to death but I figured I would at least give it a shot) or the werewolves, vampires and villagers.

EF, I recomend yu sign up still. Worst thing that happens is you know you will be away and the person next in line goes.

I love vampires in WW games, I've only run one myself of those. It was what I thought I'd do for my first game here but I've changed my mind, so if you end up with a game with vampires and wolves I'd be very happy.

Primarily Chennai with maybe a ittle time in Bangalore. I've been to Chennai twice with two vastly different trips. Both were a lot of work but one had entertaining times thrown in while the other was not as good as I was the only person from my office there.

Oddly, my second trip there actually almost led to meeting a fellow FOFC'er which would have been the only one I would have met. Unfortunately it couldn't get worked out (that would have been a pretty cool way to meet someone from here with both of us being over 10,000 miles from home).

Have you been there before?

I agree with Lathum that you can always defer your game. I always like when we have someone new hosting a game since it brings some new ideas and perspectives.

I was going to throw my name in, but I don't really want to wait 6 months to run the game. Who knows, I may have won the lottery by then and want nothing to do with you bozos.

(not that I actually play the lottery....)

Nope. My wife has family in Delhi and Orisa (I don't know if I spelled it right, but it's a province near Calcutta). We're going to be there for two weeks, and we'll probably try to go other places as well, but we haven't figured out where yet.

Add me to the list, please.

Tentative Theme: The Constitutional Convention
Goal: To go through the entire waiting time without coming up with a bunch of crazy ways to make the game too complicated

The waiting list has grown VERY VERY long indeed. Basically it seems like the percentage of WW players who wish to host has gone up rather than the number of WW players having one up.

That is the main reason I havent signed back up. I personally like hosting games more than playing, but there seems to be so many who havent had many chances to host.

I'm hoping that we see some new faces with the upcoming board merger. Potentially enough to allow for the return of simultaneous games.

If so, great. If not, then those on the back of the list get a nice, long wait until their turn.

I'm obviously new to the group, but I love mysteries and story writing. When there's an opportunity, I'd love to host one! By the time my name is up I should be in the groove.
