Saldana, "if" I'm telling the truth I'm the good marathon runner, so explain to me again how this is the best choice?

Ill answer that... why the hell would you fake reveal as the marathon runner? its already been suggested that that is a great lynch target.... so who cares if you say you are good. its not like you would say you are the bad one....

Anyone that has played with me knows that I'm not prone to spinning things, I tend to lay low rather be in the thick of things, particularly as a wolf. That being said, pick what you will but my reveal narrows down your options by another person which means you have an even better shot at a wolf.

Let's ASSUME for a minute you buy that DT is most likely good, you believe that I am good, and you (whoever you may be) are a good person, that means with 10 of us in this room, you are down to 7 options. At least 2 of those 7 are wolves, meaning you have a nearly 30% of lynching one.

Yeah, it takes a lot of faith/trust/whatever, but it's not a bad play at all. And yeah, AS I pointed out, taking me out is a 50-50 wolf play (except it's really 0% because my PM says I'm the good one).

I'm still not sure what I'm doing. I went back to figure out why BK was on Poli and then remembered that two of you have declared war already, and I don't really think that's a good idea. Obviously the damage has been done since you can't unvote it, but it could be a wolf play to get war votes in early to try and win a city without even getting all the villagers out.

So I'm leaning towards sticking with my vote, but I understand why people would be tempted to vote PB.

You might be good, but your whole just simply assume DT and I am good line of reasoning strikes me the wrong way. Even if you are a villager, you have no way of knowing if DT is good or not. It's already been stated he usually doesn't check his PM's until later in the day. My vote is staying put when I leave, but I will reevaluate if I make it back on before deadline.

right... so unless the wolves intentionally send their own people there, well know one turn later on everyone who shows up if they are a wolf or not...

I never thought we'd find the marathon runner through revelation, but I maintain my 50/50 analysis. And when they send us their marathon runner, we should kill them too.

Well, dubb and PB. Athens is known for having been a city of thinkers, while Sparta was more warlike and less philosophical. The Athenians already razzed you guys for it in the main thread, and this isn't exactly helping your case!

The people of Athens can have all their thinkers and wine drinkers and whatever other gay crap they want. Here in Sparta we eat human flesh....including our own. And if you choose to be a runner rather than a warrior....may god have mercy on your soul.

Lets turn the discussion to the marathon runner. I wasn't under the impression it worked as PB and BK seem to think it works.

I'm probably wrong re-reading it. For some reason I thought the runner choose to flee cities. However reading it again it appears that it happens automatically. I assume when they are voted out.

That's probably some poor wording on my part. The Marathon Runner has the choice of going to the other city or to Hades. If they don't make a choice, they'll go to Hades.

No problem. I posted earlier that I would be gone at deadline fully expecting it to come at 1 est. I was confused to find out when I got back that I'm a complete freakin idiot apparently and had totally forgotten how to tell time.

But do we really think that PB is the BAD runner here? I mean we send him over there, won't they just lynch him up?

Yes I think he is the bad runner. Yes they will lynch him up. And yes we will most likely lynch the other marathon runner when he comes over here.

Guys, it's fine, part of why I revealed is to help the village. IF you find the other marathon runner via seer, he's obviously a wolf. Good luck.

It doesn't matter that I'm the good one, it makes sense to vote out any marathon runner. I had fought the urge to reveal from when BK brought up the idea. It makes it one less way you have to look.

I'm just worried about some sort of criminal-leading-the-blind. I mean maybe with dubb going down you two hatched a plan to get him some cred by being so dogged in your persuit. Now you're basically asking to be lynched.

Ahhh, maybe I misread which means I made a major miscalculation. I thought each city had two which is why revealing should have still helped the village.

The way I had read it, probably incorrectly:

Each village has 2 runners, 1 is a wolf, 1 is a good guy.

Maybe it is only two total.

Yes, yes you did. Not all fake reveals can be perfect.

You may actually be the marathon runner, and probably are. But you are by no means a villager.

Good try attempting to sidetrack us into a villager after you are gone though.

dubb, you'll be the recipient of all my day one votes from now on because you have played a very, very dangerous villager game IMHO. If you're a wolf, well played. If you're a villager, horrible miscalculation.
