Yeah, I probably could have let him slide a bit, but I don't know. Hard to tell how much extra value a player has for knocking out a team I don't really care about / doesn't have a lot of historically great players.

He played 22 games at LF this season and 133 at RF. Can I change his position if the draft goes a way that I need to change hime to LF or am I married to him playing RF?

Although I'm very happy I have Trout, seeing how far Griffey fell really is making me reconsider that as the fourth overall pick FWIW. Knew it was a homer pick and a reach at the time... but yeah

Yeah, as much as I love Willie Mays, CF is crazy deep when you look at all-time players.

I have a theory that the game is nerfing older players on import, or maybe they just don't rate highly in things that are important in todays game (strikeouts, homers etc...)

There's a couple of legendary guys out there on the offensive side still out there that fit the profile, and it's EF's ratings that have given me pause on grabbing them.

I am fairly certain it is the defense of older players. I also wonder if EF is importing using real life or neutralized stats?

+1. I just needed a LF and didn't want to "burn" the DH slot so early.

Good news is I don't want either of those players...bad news is that you jumped two teams. So after my pick jbergey22 still needs to go.

Not a big deal at all. I just didn't want it to affect any of the picks and it didn't

First Reliever off the board! Now it's a draft

Gagne is a great pick. Was sad when he imploded for my Sox but he was untouchable that summer for the Dodgers.

Im going to really be watching EF ratings on this one... Might clue us in as to whether or not EF is using real life or neutralized... Nice pick either way....

Darnit he was next on my list. To follow up on jbergey22 though I think you listed him as an Expo and he was a Rockie in 1997. `'94 was his big year in Montreal. Anyway great pick and if you are getting the '97 version I too will be interested to see if the stats are park neutral.

I was interested in him as well I was going to pick him initally as my RF but I went ahead with Clemente because I didn't know if he was gonna be nerfed due to playing at Coors.

I too will be intrigued by Mr. Walker. I felt OF was a bit deeper than 1B though, hence my choice of Helton over him.
