I dont really see Mau playing the way he has with all villagers on the block. I actually am starting to think we have had all villagers up for lynch for the most part. Also its noted that Coffee and Hoops voted Packer (and I did early in the day) and there was no support there.

I'm in that same boat, I didn't beat you by that much. Like I said, it's been too quiet and I think we've had nothing but villagers pointing fingers at each other.

I don't even see a BG role in there, however, it is listed that there may be a role in the game not listed.

With that being said, I think I read something about the papparazzi!

Plus you've been on the dead guy late 2 days in a row Mau. Like I said, I'm all ears now and willing to listen to theories. I don't see anything out there but silence.

Quoting myself. I don't think you would do this as a wolf.

Well, I'm hoping Narcizo (or someone else) will revisit the D1 votes to fill in our new info. Lathum and Mauchow are the remaining players there.

But I agree we've got a reasonable chance of all villagers there - somewhere between 40-60% based on my earlier math. And likely higher now that we've shown two of them to be villagers.

Hmm, lets break it down. The two already lynched and good no longer factor in, nor do the dead guy or me (believe this last point at your own risk, I suppose):
Two villagers, assuming two wolves = 11/13 * 10/12 = 110/156 = 70.5%
Two villagers, assuming three wolves = 10/13 * 9/12 = 90/156 = 57.6%

I recognize the game isn't straight math, but if this was a math exercise we've got about a 10-15% better chance now of D1 being all villagers than we did when analyzing in a vacuum.

I'm hitting the sack. Gotta be sharp for my interview tomorrow (I am doing the interviewing.. gotta hire somebody. Position has been open for two months and I've had one person that has met enough of the qualifications to get a phone interview with me).

I have to exercise a little bit of caution with trust lists, since I know a roled villager at this point and don't want to tip it off too much.

That said, I'll suggest that the people I wouldn't look to hard at today barring a revealed seer scan would be the same four Danny listed.

Day 1
8 DaddyTorgo - Narcizo (57), hoopsguy (95), mauchow (182), Danny (187), Lathum (189), Coffee Warlord (208), Zinto (241), Chubby (265)
5 Lathum - Autumn (68), fontisian (129), bhlloy (139), britrock88 (232), DaddyTorgo (233)
2 Coffee Warlord - murra5y (82), PackerFanatic (161)
1 mauchow - Passacaglia (114)

No Vote: Katylied

Day 2
Coffee Warlord 7 - Passacaglia (465), PackerFanatic (496), bhlloy (528), hoopsguy (590), murra5y (612), mauchow (626), Lathum (647)
hoopsguy 6 - fontisian (481), Autumn (504), Danny (505), Zinto (523), Chubby (575), Coffee Warlord (629)
Lathum 1 - KatyLied (518)
murra5y 1 - Narcizo (441)

Just looking at this, bholly, mauchow, Packer and Danny look pretty bad. It's interesting to note that Chubby is right after Zinto on both nights, at the end of the lynches.

Well since the East coast wakes up before me on the day off tomorrow...

vote Zinto

I was going to ask Danny why he jumped off looking at Zinto. Been looking at the votes before Font posted them.

I can only see two reasons that there wasn't a night kill today. 1.The ghosts choose to give up their kill in order to do something else or 2. The ghosts hit a ghostbuster.

If the second one is the case, I suggest that the ghostbuster comes forward so we can clear them, as the ghosts already know who they are. I could be missing something, though.

If you work with the 9 names still alive and not on Danny's list, and we have 3 ghosts + cultist in that mix (I know, lots of assumptions and not sure I believe them all) then we are starting to tilt into the territory where we should luck into good decisions eventually

Just need to desperately avoid another conversion, assuming that first one happened tonight. If it did, then the wolves will likely have greater insight into how the Gatekeeper/Keymaster stuff works than they did a few hours ago.

Since I'm not sure how it works, what if the conversion happens in a night kill for the ghosts. Let's say they turned in a night kill and it was the gate keeper. Then maybe there is no night kill and they are converted to a wolf instead. It may not be a choice, it may be that they picked one of the two people and converted them instead of a kill.

Not going to be around much. I'm coming down with man-flu and have the kids to look after today. If a ghostbuster blocked a kill they might as well come out with it. I don't think they did so you've got to figure a conversion and us in deep trouble. Luckily I doubt the anyone has a shining voting record so we don't have to worry about that misleading us.

Hoops reveal fits in with the weird stuff he's been posting so I buy it for now.

Someone else is going to have to do day two or I'll see if I can do it later.

I quite like the idea of repaying bhlloy a visit but could be down with Packer or mau. Has anyone written why they trust mau more (ah-ha) - I'm having a hard time keeping track.

My experience in werewolf suggests the opposite is true. People don't want to give anything away as a wolf so it is easier to stay quiet. Especially in a game like this where it appears we have been chasing our own tails.

What exactly is the case for me, aside from the fact I was on the block N1.

Obviously I know I am a villager, now we know DT was a villager as well. Logic dictates the wolves split up their D1 votes. I am going to be looking at one of the 3 remaining D1 voters on me.

I also think some of the quieter people need to speak up today.

Some thoughts overnight:
- not sure if the wolves are hunting for roles or converts. I think you can make a case for either one.
- if it is the latter, those claiming "vanilla villager" could be inadvertently lining themselves up for a conversion shot.
- if there were concerns last night about a potential developing CoT, then murra5y and Lathum (to a lesser extent) made appealing candidates to take out of the game, or convert

Bottom line, for me anyway, is that I don't feel as good about murra5y and Lathum now as I did when I went to bed last night. I don't mean this as an attempt to seed discord in our ranks, but more as a reminder that we're going to need to be pretty aware of layers of trust in a game featuring multiple conversions.

And while I know it fits the theme, I generally hate conversions in werewolf. Two games in a row with multiple conversions (potentially)? Bah!

Voting yesterday looks bad for Chubby if Packer is a wolf. His switch off of Packer to Hoops went a long way to making it a two-horse race with Coffee and Hoops, stealing all the momentum that Hoops and Coffee had got going on Packer. But is there actually any case against Packers?

I question Bhlloy's voting yesterday as well. At the start of the day he was Lathum or Mau but when he switches away from mau because he has no votes he picks Coffee instead of Lathum, when both are on three votes. That puzzles me. As I think Lathum is villager I don't see it as being a wolf-move per sé. But it suggests that he wasn't really all that sold on Lathum from the outset, in which case why did he come out so strongly?

I'm not liking Passacaglia's game up to this point either. He seems to be sliding through. Admittedly that's not normally his game whether he's wolf or villager but I don't like it.

Three known non-wolves (to me anyway, assuming hoops isn't pulling the wool over I eyes) had doubts about him yesterday. That'll do for me for the time being.

I doubt the wolves line up Lathum for a night kill Hoops - if he's plain vanilla they clear up a lot of questions about day one. Better to leave him as a question mark. For the same reason I don't think we should look at mau or Packer as a conversion-candidate (although they could well be wolves).

murrayyyyy could be a decent shout for a conversion - you were pretty convincing in your reasoning of him being vanilla. I don't think it's worth chasing at this stage though.

Nah, I don't want to chase the convert today. Just reminding people that trust is particularly nebulous in games featuring conversions.

Looking to gauge reactions - levels of trust for Autumn vs Danny at this stage in the game? I'm pretty surprised that both of them put vibe votes on me and left them there for the duration. Normally I would expect more of a give-and-take conversation after getting those votes, but that was pretty absent down the stretch yesterday.

I think this is 99.9%likely to be the case. I would be surprised if it worked any other way. I think the wolves hit a convert last night, we have to assume, and it would be useful to try to think about who they might have targeted last night. I don't think they would target Lathum, so he seems safe to not be a convert, at least. They would not have targeted Hoops either, so I tend to believe his reveal. First night it seemed they went off the reservation a bit with their pick, so they might have done the same N2.

Autumn has pinged me all game for the way he is voting, but I am always guilty of getting tunnle vision on a certain player, doesn't mean I won't vote him, but I am at least trying to keep an open mind.

Can't get a read on Danny either way.

As others have mentioned I think Murray5Y is a likely conversion target given Hoops' reasoning

Yeah, I wasn't really around to discuss it, but also didn't have much to say. It was a vibe vote, yeah, but the strongest thing I had. And it wasn't like there was anything you could say to talk me out of it. I actually figured, either I"m right and we might catch a wolf, or Hoops will at least get a lot of votes and the wolves will leave him around longer ;-)

Danny I feel okay about -- I didn't feel like as a wolf he would have put that comment out about you, Hoops. Might be wrong, but I think he was thinking like a villager.

"off the reservation a bit" - well, I know I have not been a night kill so far. Nor has Narcizo, Danny, Autumn, Lathum ... that to me suggest high-profile wolf who doesn't want to draw attention to himself in the mid-game with the "why is X still alive" without being able to point to players Y and Z also being around.

Certainly doesn't mean that we have to go targeting those players today, but it is quite a bit different than the wolf tactics last game where CR was N1 kill, I was N2 kill, and known cultist Danny was left around by JAGs team of wolves.

I've got a few guys I'd be willing to entertain today. I called out Pass with my early vote yesterday and he promptly stuck himself on CW. That still makes me wonder. Katylied ended up nowhere useful last night. Narcizo is hard because he always ends up stranded due to time schedule. But for now I'm going to back up PF as the one that has the most things making me wonder about him.

I am not expecting to be around much today (darn having to actually work at work...) but I definitely think there are others who have "buried" their votes as much as me that deserve consideration as well (bhlloy and Autumn come to mind right away).

Or a team of newer players who don't share our thoughts about kill order.

This is a good point. I had said earlier to murray that wolves would be hunting roles, but yo'ure exactly right that in this game they may be more interested in hunting non-roles.

Let's be honest, whenever I vote you I "ping you for the way I'm voting". ;-) That's why I used to never vote you even though you were always a wolf!

I trust Danny more than Autumn at the moment.

How do you know that Danny, Autumn or I weren't targeted last night? I mean I know I wasn't. I guess that if the wolves targeted vets with their kills it would be relatively easy to deduce who a conversion is. With Brit taken out that's pretty much opened the field.

Well, if one of you wants to suggest that you were targeted last night I'll gladly re-evaluate this theory

I'm not suggesting we weren't targeted. I think the only people I wouldn't expect to have been targeted are some of the people that were in the voting because it's single deadline, or someone like Lathum who would clear things up for the village. I don't think I would have been a great target because I've been getting some votes and heat all game, but it's certainly a possibility. Danny is a prime target given that he's gotten no heat and is a great wolf. But knowing that they went with Brit D1, I'm not quite sure what they're looking for in their kills.

Cople of things about Pass - don't like the early vote on Katy. I think I remember him trying to float that boat before as a wolf. Also didn't like his reasoning that Coffee dropping from five to one vote was suspicious for Coffee. Unless he thought that Coffee was using his evil, wolfy hypnosis-ray.

I haven't looked back at the time, Pass, but my point is besides Katy you have the earliest vote in the vote list up there. And I remember that as soon as I made that comment about you, you appeared in thread. My point is simply that putting an early vote on CW didn't make my question about you disappear.

I did say before that I'm not going to have a ton of time, and won't be on during deadlines. I'm sorry that you don't like it.
