Enjoyed this past weekend. Seemed almost normal. Glad its back.

But the stadiums looked pretty packed, assume most/all colleges would require vaccination. But it is open air also so there's that.

BTW I don't care about the joke itself. The re-purposing someone else's material and telling it in a worse way should be the reason for the criticism.

Yeah, he should have checked in with the President before that. Joe would have told him “C’mon man! I’ve been there, done that. It’s not going to turn out well!”

Ole Miss radio crew (on Sirius XM) was entertainingly salty about the officiating in the first half.

It is now officially Hate week. F*ck ISU, cant wait to ruin your season.

Just watching the game now. What a terrible game for Penix, but the rest of the team was bad too. Our o-line is pretty disappointing. Good luck the rest of the way. I hope you or NW win the west.

I wonder if basically having a new QB, RB and WR1 was a factor as well. That is tough to get everyone on the same page. And against a defense like Iowa has, it has to be even a tougher transition.

Good luck to you, hope we meet in the B1G champ game.

Props to Minnesota and PJ Fleck for putting the spotlight on this egregious miss by the officials. I look forward to seeing how the conference responds.

I see shoulder pad to shoulder pad there. He really doesn't launch. The shoulder gets in front of / parallel to the helmet at the last second.

I've seen far weaker cases that got called but I can see where this didn't get called.

Another thing: this was one shitty pass. Leads him to the defender, off target no less, and gave his own receiver no chance to protect himself. It's exactly what TB12 was talking about

Now lemme get this straight:

AP poll participants feel like Oklahoma is the 4th best team in the country.

Tulane loses to OU by 5 points, on the road, with the game in doubt in the final two minutes.

UNC loses by 7 to the (now) #17 team ... ranked 24th
FSU loses by 3, at home, to the #8 team... gets 4 vote points
Arizona loses by 8 to an unranked team ... gets 5 vote points
La-Lafayette loses by 20 to the #15 teams ... gets 15 vote points
Indiana loses by 28 to the #10 team ... 37 vote points
LSU loses by 11 to the (now) #16 team ... 57 vote points

I ain't sayin' that I think Tulane is the next great team or anything but they've got more credibility on the field right now than a helluva lot of teams than the voting members of the AP poll somehow still like.

It looks like the Big 12 will announce expansion with Houston, Cincinnati, BYU, and UCF on Friday. It will be interesting to see if there may be a year or two where they overlap with Texas and Oklahoma.

The new look:
Texas Tech
Baylor
Houston
TCU
Oklahoma St
Kansas St
Iowa St
Kansas
WVU
UCF
BYU
Cincinnati

Basketball should be among the best in the country and football shouldn't be too bad with no powerhouses but very deep. Kansas is really the only program that I'd say is below average right now. As a WVU fan, I'm hoping for a short term TV deal (they will renegotiate in 2025) of maybe 5-7 years and then maybe the ACC will come calling (unless the ACC is interested in WVU before they are locked into a new Grant of Rights deal, which is not super likely but possible from what I hear).

So #17 Coastal Carolina in action tonight at home at 7:30 on ESPN2. They face their first ever Power 5 team in Conway, Kansas. Despite the fact that they have beaten them twice now, are 26 point favorites, I'm still nervous. Kansas has a new head coach, QB, and broke their 13 game losing streak to South Dakota last week (by 3). They may find they like winning and Coastal might choke given the occasion. At least they have no significant injuries heading into the game

Or they might win by 26.

Despite the fact that your school started playing football after most of the players on the field were born, we're getting our asses kicked tonight. I wouldn't worry.

The fact that Kansas is technically a "Power Five" team is hilarious. They're horrible even by "Group of Five" standards. Hell, there are probably at least a dozen FCS schools that could beat them.

Admittedly, this is the state of the Razorbacks in the SEC right now.

We are like 6 pts underdogs vs Longhorns today. Looking forward to a competitive showing.

I am nervous this morning. Normally I am nervous about this game because it is ISUs super bowl, but this year they have even more to play for.

ISU chose to wear black jerseys in 90 degree heat. Their colors are ketchup and mustard but they are wearing black and white (?).

Is it 3:30 yet?

GO HAWKS!

OSU vs Oregon game is entertaining so far.

Rooting for the Ducks. I like their helmet!

To my dismay, they haven't imploded yet.

I really thought there was a chance that a loss today might lead to the dismissal of the used car salesman.

I believe the only reason this is going the way it is lies with the reality that Kennesaw isn't as good as usual this year. (they struggled with Reinhardt last week)

Ducks up 21-7 after a nice long TD run right after half-time. OSU is getting smacked around right now.
