During the cuts stage, we lose Markeith Ambles who flamed out of school. We also lose a low ranked DT who flunked out.

A look at our roster with focus on skills specific to the position. Our team is LOADED:

RS SO QB Kory Reid is only 5'11 190, but he has electric speed, agility, and accleration with a big time arm. His awareness is very good at an 84. Gun of an arm, considering his size. Accuracy is good but not great. Clear starter. Only concern is his tendency to get injured. Overall of 92.

RS JR Jesse Scroggins is 6'2 204. He has good mobility, big arm, but questionable awareness. He has the biggest arm of any QB on the roster and is about as accurate as Reid. Overall of 85.

RS FR Jonathan Edwards is 6'0 190 and has better mobility than Scroggins but not as good as Reid. Lacks awareness like Scroggins. He is the most accurate of the 3 QB's, but has the weakest arm of the 3. Battling for the backup spot with Scroggins...

True Freshman Doug Allen is 6'2 204. He has explosive mobility like Reid. Worst awareness of the group. Explosive elusiveness. Arm is the least accurate but strong. Overall of 80.

HB is our position of weakness and is the reason we'll run a lot of spread this year like we did last year:

RS SR Patrick Hall has explosive acceleration but isn't big and doesn't break many tackles. He is 6'1 190 and will start. Overall of 86.

FR Marlon McDaniel is definitely more of a power back. He is 6'0 215. Lacks homerun speed, but is going to be VERY tough to bring down with the first hit. Overall of 79. Will be our short yardage back and primary backup.

FR Robert Smith is a great looking back with power and speed. His awareness is horrible. Overall of 78.

At FB, Edwards is faster than most of my HB's:

RS SO Corey Edwards has great speed for a 6'1 251 back. Great hands at catching the ball and good carrying. May get some short yardage carries. Expect him to be a big weapon receiving. Overall of 82.

SO Zach Young is 6'0 208 and is a bit slower than Edwards but he is the better blocker. He is rated 81 overall.

At WR, Woods and Prater both improved a ton during the offseason. Even with the loss of Ambles, we have the best group in the country. Going to be filthy...

WR Robert Woods at 6'1 185 has 99 speed, 99 acceleration, and 99 agility. Add to that, 99 elusiveness, 99 spin move, 99 juke move, 90 catching. I'm expecting him to break 100 catches and 1500 yards this year. Overall of 98.

Prater at 6'5 221 has 93 speed, 99 acceleration, 90 agility, 99 elusiveness, 99 juke move, 98 catching, and 98 spectacular catch. He is rated 98 overall as well. Expect huge numbers from him too, although Woods is the #1 target.

RS SO J.J. Pearson is 6'0 170 and has excellent acceleration and good speed. Solid hands. Will fight for the 3 spot. Rated 84 overall.

SO Justin Morgan is 6'1 188 and has better speed than Pearson but worse acceleration. Not as smooth of a catcher as Pearson or as good of a route runner. Overall of 83.

FR WR/Athlete Tommy Wilkinson is also in the running for the #3 WR positon. He has the most explosive speed and acceleration of the 3 competing for that job. He also has the best hands of the 3, but he is the least polished. Still, I may let him have the job. Overall of 82.

Finally, we have #1 WR in the country Matt Burke. He is 5'11 200 and is a true possession receiver. Only average speed at best. Best hands of the group. Overall of 81.

TE is a position of strength thanks to your beast:

JR Zach Young is 6'8 260 and has better speed than Burke. Great hands, good route running and blocking. Overall of 92.

SR Xavier Grimble is 6'6 252 and is more of a blocker than receiver but he can catch some and he has good mobility for his size. Overall of 84.

FR Jay Moore is 6'5 247 and is a poor receiver but solid blocker. Overall of 74.

Tackle is a position that has gotten thin again, but very good talent at the top:

JR Andy Malone is 6'4 331. Overall of 92. He is a gifted run and pass blocker.

JR David Davis is 6'6 277 and overall of 92. Better pass than run blocker, but good at both.

JR T Seean Simpson is 6'4 344. Overall of 82. Average blocker.

Guard is a bit deeper and stronger:

RS SR Kevin Graf is 6'6 322 and overall of 95. Very dominating blocker.

RS SO Sean Bailey is 6'6 282 and overall of 90. Great pull blocker. Very good at pass and run blocking overall.

RS JR Giovani Di Paolo is 6'6 315. Overall of 90. Best pass blocker on the team. Excellent run blocker. Starting at RG.

RS SR John Martinez is 6'3 283 and is rated 87 overall. Strong blocker.

C is our weakest line position:

SO Nathan Lester is 6'4 308 and overall of 86. Above average blocker.

FR Darnell Wright is 6'2 290 and is rated 81 overall. Average blocker.

Onto defense...

We have a deep talented defensive line:

JR DE Alan Walker is 6'5 235 rated 91 overall. Strong power moves. Great speed. Big hitter. Very good tackler.

JR Shawn Johnson is 6'4 263 and rated 91 overall. Tremendous speed and acceleration. Great finesse moves. Tremendous pursuit.

RS SR Kevin Greene is 6'3 261 and rated 87 overall. Very good finesse moves.

RS SR James Boyd is 6'5 240 and is rated 83 overall. Solid all around ability.

FR Lamar O'Connor is 6'5 246. Rated 80 overall. Very good accleration.

FR David Wheeler is 6'5 226. Rated 78 overall. Strong tackler.

At DT, we have a good group now.

RS JR George Uko is 6'4 312 and overall of 85. Very strong player with good moves to get to the QB.

SO Randy Cabral is 6'3 305 and rated overall of 84. Better tackler than Uko. Excellent bull rusher. Stamina issues.

FR Derek Tremblay is 6'5 291 and rated 81 overall. Great balanced player.

SO Eric Martin is 6'4 291 and rated 76 overall.

RS SO Anthony Harper is 6'0 330 and is rated 73 overall.

We are deep and very good at OLB:

JR Adam Johnson is 6'3 210 and is rated 94 overall. GREAT tackler, great play recognition, DB type coverage abilities. Big hitter too.

SO Nelson Lowe is 6'2 227 and rated 87 overall. Tremendous tackler who is a better zone than M2M defender. He has great acceleration and is a good hitter.

RS SR Marquis Simmons is 6'1 231 and is rated 85 overall. Worse in coverage than Lowe, but better pursuit of running backs.

SR Mark Dawson is 6'3 215 and rated 84 overall. Great tackler. Poor coverage abilities.

RS FR Marcus Ingraham has the best acceleration of any linebacker. Great tackler. Poor to average in other areas. 5'11 210 and rated 83 overall.

RS FR Brad McDonald is 6'2 221 and is rated 82 overall. Strong at the point of attack.

MLB is our weakest defensive position:

RS SR Simione Vehikite finally gets the start. He is 6'0 252 and is rated 82 overall. He is a so-so tackler, but is strong at the point of attack at times.

RS SR Will Andrew is 6'2 234 and is rated 78 overall. He is a very smart player who is good in pass coverage.

RS FR John Wilkinson is the fastest of the 3 players at the position. Overall of 76. Very low awareness - worst on team. Poor coverage abilities.

At CB, we have a very fast set of DB's:

RS SR Torin Harris is 6'1 177 and is rated 90 overall. 94 man and zone coverage ratings. 95 play recognition. Smart player with shut down potential.

SR Demetrius Wright is 6'1 207 and is rated 85 overall. Man coverage of 90, zone of 97. Very good speed.

SO Lee Morris is 6'2 183 and is the fastest of all of our DB's. He may push for starting time. Man and zone ratings of 90. May start over Wright. Overall of 83.

FR Chase Martin is 6'0 176 and is almost as fast as Morris. He has all signs of becoming a shut down corner. Already has 95 man coverage rating! Overall of 81.

RS JR Anthony Brown is 6'0 187 and is rated 77 overall. M2M of 85 and zone of 84. Good speed.

FR Ryan Johnson is 6'2 192, rated 74 overall. M2M of 82, zone of 87. Good speed, but so-so acceleration.

At S, we are young and talented:

RS SO Eric Timmons is 5'10 205. Better at M2M (93) than zone (70.) So, he may not start at FS. Overall of 85. He is a tremendous hitter and tackler. Perhaps, he'll start at SS. That is what I'm going to do.

RS FR Sean Burke is 6'2 204 and rated 80 overall. Also, better at M2M than zone. Hmm, neither one is the ideal FS...

RS So SS Derrick Sanchez may actually be the ideal FS. Overall of 90. Great speed, accleration, tackling, and 92 zone and 91 m2m abilities.

FR SS Tim Douglas is 6'0 198. Slowest of all my DB's. Has great instincts. Overall of 79.

FR K Martin Reese is rated 80 overall. 97 kick power but only 66 accuracy.

JR P Kyle Williams is rated 82 overall. 84 kick power, 82 kick accuracy.

Everything else is of low to moderate need.

1st week of the season:

We get a few big instant commits:

Tyler Mendoza is the #1 Tackle in the country. He is a 5 star player from Covina, CA. He is 6'7 275. A strong balanced blocker.

WR Jarrod Page is a 4 star WR from San Francisco. He is 6'0 174 and is the 6th ranked WR in the class. Well balanced with no outstanding strengths of weaknesses.

DT Tristan Beck is a 4 star DT who is 10th in the class. He is 6'4 294 and is from Lodi, CA. He is a bit slow, but is a real run stuffer.

We open the season at Hawaii. Can Woods make it 3 straight Trojans in a row to win the Heisman?

Hawaii tries a fake punt on 4th and 4 and we stuff the run. We get the ball at midfield.

Reid's first pass is a bit overthrown and it is picked off.

Reid is nearly perfect on the next drive after we force a stop on 4th and 3. Reid finishes the drive with a 9 yard strike to Woods for a TD. 7-0.

We lose Burke to broken ribs on the first play of their next drive.

Our next drive is 1 play - 72 yard pass to Woods who burnt his man and was open by 10 yards at least. 14-0.

Hawaii catches a long pass off a tip by our defender and turns it into a long TD. 14-7.

Early in the 2nd, Reid finds Young for a 4 yard TD. 21-7.

Midway through the 2nd, we lose Walker to an abdominal tear! He's gone for half a season. Greene has to step up..

Hawaii marches down the field. 9 yard TD pass to end the drive. 21-14. 5 minutes left in the half.

Reid to Woods for a 49 yard TD. They are making it look way too easy tonight. 28-14.

Reid leads us on a 10 play 58 yard drive ending in a 6 yard TD run by Reid. 35-14.

Halftime: We lead 35-14 and we get the ball back.

Early in the 3rd, Reid gets hit just after throwing it to Prater on 3rd and 14.. Prater makes the acrobatic catch but Reid is hurt.. Scroggins into the game. 1 play later, Hall with a 37 yard TD run up the middle. 42-14.

Sanchez with a pick. Great play by him to make a diving catch! Reid has been cleared to return and will get one more drive...

Our freshman kicker drills a 51 yard FG! Huge leg! 45-14. However, Hall was hurt on the drive, and he suffered a bulging disk in his back. His season is over! Poor Patrick Hall

2:40 left in the 3rd, 45-14 lead, I put in my 2nd units.

Oh wow. A few plays later, McDaniel suffers the exact same injury. His season is over and freshman Robert Smith is our starting RB!

Smith with a few big runs to get us into FG range on our next drive. 48-14 with 5 minutes left in the game.

We win the game 48-14.

Our next game is hosting Michigan State.

We get an interception by Wright and Reid marches us right down the field. We end it with a 1 yard TD run by Woods on a reverse. 7-0.

They tie it up, ending a methodical drive with a 1 yard TD run by their HB. 7-7.

Reid keeps getting passes batted down. At least 4 this half. Defenses are dominating...

Their PR fumbles a punt and Martin picks it up and runs it in for a TD!! 14-7, we lead.

They hit a 40 yard FG to make it 14-10, midway through the 2nd.

They do a great job of stopping us, but a great punt goes out of bounds at the 1.

Next play we get a safety on them as they throw a screen pass that we sniff out. 16-10.

We kick a 33 yard FG as time expires in the half. 19-10.

Today, we host Oregon with 10 of our top recruits in attendance. Oregon is #13 in the polls after losing their opener to Tennessee 28-14. We are #1.

They miss a 50 yard FG on their first drive.

Defenses are controlling the game early, and the first score is a long pick 6 by Torin Harris. 74 yard TD return on the interception. 7-0!

A few plays later, their HB fumbles the pitch and Anthony Brown picks it up and returns it for a TD! 14-0.

A few holding penalties stop their next drive. It was a 16 play drive that ended with their QB being knocked out and their backup getting sacked twice to push them into a 53 yard FG attempt which they missed.

We move the pocket more and get a 5 play 58 yard drive ending in a 12 yard TD pass to Morgan. 21-0, early in the 2nd.

2 dropped passes in the endzone for Oregon and they settle for a FG. 21-3.

We get a 51 yard FG as time expires in the half to make it 24-3.

Halftime: We lead 24-3, but our offense has been shut down so far. We get the ball back.

Early in the 3rd, Woods breaks the USC career yardage leader mark and ties the career TD record on 1 long 43 yard TD reception. He made a great adjustment on an underthrown ball by Reid. 31-3.

We force a punt, but it is a great one and pins us on our 3. Reid fumbles and we fall on it in the endzone for a safety. 31-5.

On the ensuing kickoff/punt, they fumble it, Simmons picks it up and runs it in for a TD! 38-5.

Woods with a very long punt return, he was slowed down by the punter enough to be caught.

Robert Smith with 5 straight runs before he needs a breather. FB Zach Young with 2 runs before Reid calls his own number and sneaks it in. 45-5, late in the 3rd. That will be it for Reid who had an off day but still did ok.

A fumble gets us the ball back at midfield. We bring in the entire 2nd unit.

Against our 2nd team, their star HB breaks off a 98 yard TD run! 45-12.

Robert Smith (who is playing still cause of our lack of depth) gets good blocking from the 2nd unit line and breaks off a 64 yard TD run! 52-12.

We end the scoring with a 44 yard FG with 1:20 left. 55-12.

We win the game 55-12.

Robert Smith was the player of the game with 25 carries for 194 yards and a TD.

Reid was 13 of 21 for 159 yards with 2 TD's 0 INT's. He was sacked 5 times.

Daryle Hawkins was 18 of 36 for 149 yards with 0 TD's 1 INT.

Reid had 9 carries for -23 yards (with sack yardage)

Young with 4 carries for 17 yards.

Woods with 1 for 9 yards.

Oregon's Dontae Williams with 21 carries for 202 yards and a TD.

Robert Woods had 8 catches for 129 yards and a TD.

Prater with 2 for 23 yards. Morgan with 1 for 8 yards.

Dontae Williams led the Ducks with 7 for 43 yards.

CB Lee Morris led the team with 11 tackles. Shawn Johnson had 6 with 3 for a loss.

James Boyd had our only sack of the day. The SR is shocking me.

Torin Harris had our only pick. Woods with 2 PR for 49 yards (1 of 48 and 1 of 1.)

After the game, we get a commit!

Eric Muse is 6'0 220 and is the #2 MLB in the nation and #1 in CA. He is a 4 star player who is solid in every area but doesn't excel in any area.

We also are looking very good for all of the kids who visited. This could be another special class.

We host Washington #20 (3-0) this week.

We get a 3 and out, then a good punt return starts us on their 33. 4 play 33 yard drive ending in a 16 yard TD run by Smith. 7-0.

Reid to Woods for a 10 yard TD on our next drive. 14-0. That is Wood's 42nd career TD, a new USC record for a receiver.

Woods with 3 big catches including a 4 yard TD on our next drive. 21-0, early in the 2nd.

Reid to Wilkinson for a 29 yard TD at the end of the half to make it 28-0.

A conservative 2nd half, has us failing to score most of the 3rd quarter. But, Shawn Johnson continues a stellar game with a fumble recovery which he takes to their 3. A play later, Reid finds Prater for a TD. 35-0. That will end Reid's day, which was inconsistent but spectacular at times.

Scroggins with a long TD pass to Prater early in the 4th. 42-0. That will be the end of the day for the rest of the 1st team players.

We win the game 42-0.

DE Shawn Johnson is the player of the game with 9 tackles, 7 for a loss, 3 sacks, 1 FF, and 1 FR.

Reid was 11 of 23 for 141 yards with 4 TD's 0 INT's. He was sacked 3 times. He ran it 7 times for 35 yards.

Scroggins was 5 of 6 for 113 yards with 1 TD 1 INT.

Keith Price was 16 of 28 for 178 yards and 1 INT.

Robert Smith ran it 26 times for 113 yards and a TD.

Deontae Cooper ran it 15 times for 19 yards.

Woods with 5 catches for 81 yards and 2 TD's. Prater with 4 for 106 yards and 2 TD's. Wilkinson with 2 for 40 yards and a TD.

Fred Taylor led Washington with 6 for 74 yards.

JR OLB Adam Johnson had 7 tackles, 2 for a loss, and 1 sack.

Torin Harris had our only interception.

Woods with 5 PR for 52 yards.

After the big game, we get 3 commits and we have a bunch more who are on the verge of committing:

5 star WR Keith Paris is 6'3 187 and he is from Cary, NC. He is the #2 receiver in the nation. He picked us over Texas and West Virginia. He has a tremendous balance of speed, agility, acceleration, and elite hands. Our next great Kyle Prater type receiver.

MLB Shawn Brant is 5'10 210 and is from Lynwood, CA. He is a 4 star player and is the 4th ranked MLB nationally. He really flies to the ball, but is undersized and gets run over at times. Good hips.. good coverage abilities.

T Aaron Turner is a 4 star T who is ranked 3rd in the nation. He is from Simi Valley, CA. He is 6'4 284. He is a balanced blocker with excellent punch at the attack.

Today, we travel to play a subpar 1-2 Arizona team.

They put together a good first drive, but we stuff them for a loss of 2 on 3rd and 1 at our 7. They miss a very short FG attempt.

Reid is perfect on our first drive, including a 24 yard scramble on 3rd and 3. He finishes it with a 4 yard strike to Woods. 7-0.

Pearson gets crushed across the middle on our next drive and he fumbles it. Arizona recovers. Our defense sacks the QB and forces a 3 and out. They go for a fake punt which we stop. We get it at the 47. Reid underthrows Prater on a deep post and it is picked off. Our D forces 3 and out.

Our next drive is 9 plays 44 yards that ends in a 5 yard TD run by Smith. 14-0. Midway through the 2nd.

With a minute left, our young kicker makes a 41 yard FG to make it 17-0.

Halftime: We lead 17-0 and we get the ball back.

Reid throws a pick in the redzone, but Young, our TE, knocks the ball away from the cornerback and Edwards fall on it to recover it for us.

2 plays later, Reid to Woods for a 5 yard TD. 24-0.

Arizona with a balanced drive to make it 24-6 late in the 3rd after we stop the 2 pt conversion.

We got 6 commits after the game, including multiple 5 stars!

Daniel Gates is the #1 player in the class. He is a 5 star athlete who is 6'2 208 and is from Santa Maria, CA. He is likely going to be a DB for us, but we'll see. I think he may be overrated..

Corey Robinson is the #2 player in the class. He is a 5 star athlete from Lancaster, CA. He is 6'1 200. Not sure what position he will play.

DT Donald Lambert is the #1 DT in the nation. He is a 5 star player from San Beunaventura, CA. He is 6'4 260. He is a well balanced player.

WR Cameron Smith is the #1 Receiver in the country. He is a 5 star player from Torrance, CA. He is 6'3 204 and is an excellent possession receiver, but he has good speed too.

G Adam West is the #3 G in the country. He is a 4 star player who is 6'2 271 and is a balanced blocker.

Juco CB John Houston is 5'10 187 and is a 3 star player who is the 20th rated CB in the country. He is a good coverage player with strong M2M skills.

About to switch to SECElite's sliders while also doing the coaching edits he suggests. Should up the challenge for this team by a wide margin, particularly in trying to stop the CPU run game.

ND marches down the field on us on their first drive, through the air despite the rain. They end it with a 12 yard TD pass to Bo Patterson. 7-0.

They force a 3 and out as they shut down our running back and Reid misses on 2 passes.

Torin Harris with an interception to get us the ball back immediately. They stuff us on 4th and 1 on their 20. This is a very good 4-1 ND team...

Our defense forces a 3 and out. Late in the quarter, we put together a drive in which we pass, pass, pass, pass, and then get a big run for a 38 TD by Robert Smith. 7-7.

Sanchez with a pick late in the quarter on a bomb that was underthrown.

1st play we hit Prater for a long PA pass. Great pass by Reid. 2 plays later Reid to Woods for a 6 yard TD. 14-7.

We have to settle for a 25 yard FG midway into the 2nd. 17-7.

ND's QB, Hendrik, with a few big scrambles, but we stop them inside the 10. They settle for a short FG late in the half. 17-10.

1st play is a long gain to Prater who shields the defender perfectly with his big body. 4 plays later, Woods catches a short pass, makes a defender miss, and turns it into a 42 yard TD. 24-10. 45 seconds left in the half.

They drive into FG range but miss a long FG as the half ends. We lead 24-10.

We get the ball to start the 2nd half.

Reid drives us into the redzone before he throws a pick to end the drive. Linebacker made a good play. ND drives down the field quickly ending with a 8 yard TD screen pass to their HB. 24-17.

Our next drive is going well until Reid gets hit while throwing it and throws a lame duck that is picked off. We force a 3 and out as our defense gets another sack on the QB.

Reid having a rough game as he throws his 3rd pick, another one in ther red zone while again trying to throw on the run. We force a 3 and out. We retain a 24-17 lead early in the 4th.

On 3rd and 6 from our own 28, Woods catches a short pass, jukes a defender, and then takes off down the left side of the field for a TD!! 31-17.

We force a 3 and out and Woods with a nice PR to start us at midfield (this slider set opens up punt returns a bit with Wood's speed.) This set really allows truly elite speed guys to shine.

A 25 yard FG late in the 4th by us to probably end our scoring. 34-17.

Adam Johnson, our OLB with a pick to stop their last drive of the game.

We win the game 34-17.

Woods is the player of the game with 7 receptions for 187 yards and 3 TD's.

Reid was 17 of 32 for 362 yards with 3 TD's 3 INT's and 7 sacks.

He had 14 carries overall for 37 yards.

Hendrik was 26 of 49 for 366 yards with 2 TD's 3 INT's. He was sacked 8 times.

Robert Smith with 21 carries for 104 yards and a TD.

ND's Cierre Wood had 4 carries for 24 yards. They only ran it 7 times besides QB scrambles (this slider set produces more of them.)

Prater with 6 catches for 135 yards. TE Young with 2 for 11 yards.

Anthony Jordan led ND with 7 catches for 119 yards and a TD.

Simione Vehikite led the team with 9 tackles. DT Randy Cabral had 2 sacks.

Woods with 6 PR for 92 yards including a long of 36.

After the game, we get a commit from TE J.D. Givens who is the #3 TE in the nation. He is a 4 star player who is 6'2 232 and is a strong blocker. His receiving skills need work.

We lose the #4 T nationally from Arizona who choses to go to Ohio State.

We also lose the #1 G, who is from Alabama, who goes to Miami.

The next week, during our bye, we lose out on several more players:

The #1 DE in California feels we slow played him and picks WVU over us.

The #2 TE in CA feels wants to go east and play for Miami.

The number 3 WR in the nation, a 5 star from New Mexico, chooses Texas over us.

Our next game is another very tough road game as we travel to play Stanford.

Actually, despite being 4-1 this Stanford team isn't that good. Looking over their roster, I expect a blowout.

After a slow start, we get a good drive together on our 2nd drive ending in a 14 yard TD pass to Wilkinson. 7-0.

Stanford with a long methodical drive that ends in a missed 34 yard FG attempt. We get the ball back early in the 2nd. Reid with a few scrambles to keep the drive going, but we settle for a 33 yard FG. 10-0.

Torin Harris intercepts the 1st pass of the next drive. 1 play later Reid finds Prater for a diving catch in the back of the endzone. 17 yard TD. 17-0.

They fumble the kickoff to give it right back to us. 3 plays later Reid to Prater on a fade for a 8 yard TD. 24-0.

Stanford misses a 36 yard FG with 1 minute left in the half.

1 play, 64 yard TD pass to Prater who burnt his man who tried to jam him early. 31-0.

Halftime: We lead 31-0 and get the ball back.

Our 2nd team offense is struggling, but late in the 3rd quarter we finish a drive in which we got a short field thanks to their PR fumbling it. We never passed and ended the drive with a 1 yard TD run by Young, the FB. 38-0.

Robert Smith, who is our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd team back, with a 1 yard TD run to make it 45-0 with 3:43 to go.

We win the game 45-0.

Prater was the player of the game with 6 catches for 165 yards and 3 TD's.

Reid was 12 of 16 for 214 yards with 4 TD's 0 INT's. He was sacked 1 time. He ran it 5 times for 23 yards.

Scroggins was 1 of 1 for 10 yards.

Josh Nunes was 20 of 30 for 156 yards with 1 INT and 2 sacks.

Robert Smith with 26 carries for 101 yards and a TD.

Young with 5 carries for 31 yards and a TD.

Anthony Wilkerson led Stanford with 14 carries for 42 yards.

Woods with 2 catches for 30 yards. Wilkinson with 2 for 20. Pearson with 1 for 10.

Geoff Meinken led Stanford with 5 catches for 54 yards.

Simione led the team with 9 tackles. Adam and Shawn Johnson each had 1 sack. Torin Harris had our only pick.

Woods with 4 PR for 35 yards.

We lost out on all of our remaining recruits on the board:

5 star C Josh Hill from CA chose to go to Oregon over USC.

#1 DE Andre Vaughn is staying relatively close to his NY home and going to WVU (who is killing it in recruiting.)

4 star S Lester Bentley is leaving IL to go to WVU.

And Oregon picks up the top two QB's in CA. I didn't recruit either hard, but this kid had us 2nd on his list. I came after him just a bit late. Richard Coley is a 4 star from Campbell, CA. Big kid with a cannon of an arm. 6'4 225.

Our next game should be an easy one, as we travel to Washington State.

Our first drive ends with a Reid fumble. Our 2nd drive ends when Woods drops a TD. We settle for a 40 yard FG. 3-0, midway through the 1st.

Our offense just isn't clicking. 3-0 at the end of 1.

Morris with a pick 6 early in the 2nd. 10-0, we lead.

Wow. WSU moving the ball better than a lot of teams against us and they finish off this drive with a 38 yard TD pass. 10-7.

1st play of the next drive, Woods catches a short pass, jukes his man, and takes off for a 69 yard TD. 17-7.

Our next drive is just 5 plays and 42 yards as we end it with a 8 yard strike to Woods. Reid did a great job of avoiding a sack and stepping up in the pocket to buy Woods time to get open. 24-7.

Our next drive, Reid fails to see a safety and throws a bad pick inside their 5.

Our next drive, Prater catches a short slant, hurdles a safety, and runs it in the rest of the way! 31 yard TD. 31-7.

Halftime: We lead 31-7 and we get the ball to start the 2nd half.

Our first drive covers 74 yards in 11 plays ending with a 8 yard TD pass to Prater. 38-7.

Morris with his 2nd interception.

A 48 yard FG late in the 3rd makes it 41-7.

Wright with an interception to end the 3rd.

WSU scores against the 2nd team defense early in the 4th. 41-14.

Martin with a pick midway through the 4th. Our defense has their QB completely rattled.

Our power running game wears them down finally and we just pound it for 4-5 yards time and time again. 14 play 74 yard drive that ends with a Smith TD. 48-14. That drive used up most of the remaining time in the game.

We win the game 48-14.

Reid was 19 of 36 for 286 yards with 4 TD's 1 INT and 3 sacks.

Connor Halliday was 29 of 50 for 347 yards with 2 TD's 4 INT's and 7 sacks.

Pearson with 1 for 12.

Bobby Ratliff led WSU with 9 for 93 yards and a TD.

Simione led the team with 9 tackles. James Boyd, Shawn Johnson, and George Uko each had 2 sacks. Lee Morris had 2 interceptions. True Freshman Chase Martin had his first career pick. Demetrius Wright also had 1.
