Moe Farley is a friggin beast!

Thanks for the updates, cmp! Ironic if Kuji goes to UAB; I'm from Birmingham in real life, and I did a TCY UAB dynasty a while back.

2012 - Week 8 High School Recruiting

Texas A&M picks up another highly rated FOFC player as Al Mighty, the #3 cornerback in the nation will play for the Aggies.

Kuji Chagulia has made his college choice, and he will play for the Temple Owls. Chagulia is the nation's sixth best safety and will surprise a lot of people at Temple.

After having the more teams contact him than any other FOFC recruit, Mike Schaplowsky has decided to play for Iowa, joining fellow 2012 recruit Tyrone Hughes as members of the Hawkeyes.

Temple, eh? Could be worse.

I forgot what conference they are in on TCY. Are they independent?

Although Al Mighty will probably redshirt next year, it looks like the Aggies could be tough for the next few years with a handful of top recruits so far. w00t!

2012 - Week 9 College Stats

Week 9 Highlights

Another big game for Will Brown, despite another Tennessee loss. Brown ran the ball 15 times for 88 yards and a touchdown but he was even better in the receiving game, catching 10 passes for 136 yards and a touchdown.

Another interception for Chas Swaggs as Pitt gets on track with a 58-10 win over Central Michigan.

Solid game for Jace Hunter as he went 13-18 for 176 yards and a touchdown. He also ran for 54 yards in the win.

A week after signing the praises of Moe Farley, it all came crashing down this week. He was 13-28 for 203 yards and a touchdown. But threw 5 interceptions in the 42-11 loss to Iowa State.

Only one catch this week for David Gonzalez but it was for 47 yards in the 23-17 win for UCLA over Oregon.

Nick Thomas was solid once again, this week he had 8 tackles.

Week 10 Highlights

Another solid game for Will Brown but Tennessee has lost 3 straight to fall to 4-4. Brown had 18 carries for 61 yards and 3 catches for 44 yards and a touchdown.

Moe Farley
didn't have to play much as Texas destroyed Baylor 65-7. Farley was able to bounce back from last week's debacle by going 9-14 for 113 and 2 touchdowns.

Nick Thomas
was solid yet again for the Sun Devils with 6 tackles, 3 of them for loss.

I hope Wisconsin loses a game this season. No national title ring if I can't contribute.

2012 - Week 12 College Stats

Week 12 Highlights

Wisconsin drops their first game of the season, 21-14 to Minnesota. More than likely there national title hopes are done.

Tennessee got back on track in a big way, 51-3 over Vanderbilt. A lot of that success can be contributed to Will Brown. 22 carries for 209 yards and 1 touchdown. He also had 3 catches for 39 yards. Brown is showing he can be a star.

Great game from Jace Hunter in a 41-13 win for Notre Dame. Hunter was 20-28 for 278 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Moe Farley continues his terrific freshmen season as he went 20-29 for 329 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 31-15 win over Oklahoma State.

For the second straight season an FOFC player loses his redshirt late in the season due to injuries up the depth chart. This time it was Max Power called to action for Florida State against North Carolina. He caught 1 pass for 12 yards.

Arizona State was destroyed, 51-3 by Washington, and lost any shot of a bowl game. Nick Thomas did what he could with 10 tackles.

Damnit!

I guess the silver lining is that Max could find himself with a BCS Championship ring if the chips fall just so.

Harp has been solid for the most part this season, until the last two games with only 2 total tackles. Can't wait for next year when I hopefully will break out and be a star in the Big Ten.

2012 - Week 13 College Stats

Week 13 Highlights

It was back down to earth for Will Brown running the ball this week as Tennessee dropped to 5-5 with a 24-21 loss to Georgia. Brown had 10 carries for only 22 yards. He made up for it a bit with 7 catches for 45 yards.

Good game for Jace Hunter despite 2 picks. He was 16-22 for 315 yards and 3 touchdowns. Can't wait to see this guy next year as a junior.

David Gonzalez only has 2 catches for 6 yards the last two weeks. But, he has 2 touchdowns. UCLA lost however, 28-27 to rival USC.

Dean Hoo was 2 for 2 on field goals as Florida State survived against Georgia Tech, 34-31 to finish 11-0. BCS Title game next?

2012 - Week 14 College Stats

Week 14 Highlights

Good win for Tennessee and a good performance for Will Brown. The Vols beat Syracuse 37-30 to get to 6-5 and qualify for a bowl game. Brown carried the ball 18 times for 87 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also caught 6 passes for 39 yards. Brown is one of the best pass-catching running backs in the nation.

Notre Dame gets a hard fought 37-34 win over Boston behind an extremely efficient game from Jace Hunter. 14-16 for 237 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also ran for 43 yards.

Only conference title games are left until we have our bowl games set. Florida State should be in barring a team playing this week jumping them. They should be in the title game.

2012 - Conference Championship Week

Only one player played in a conference title game this week. A year after not even making a bowl game, Texas made it to the Big XII Championship game this season. Kansas State however was unimpressed and beat the Longhorns, 31-13. Moe Farley was 17-31 for 213 yards.

We're going to slap MSU silly. Well if we have CW at QB that is.

We better finish top 25. That is all I have to say about that!!!

2012 - Bowl Week

Bowl Highlights

In the big game, it was Dean Hoo and Max Power's Florida State Seminoles matching up with Alabama. It was a good game, but Alabama was a bit too much for FSU as Alabama won, 23-14. Hoo didn't attempt a field goal and Power didn't get a catch.

In a matchup which featured four FOFCers it was Michigan State vs. UCLA. This one wasn't even close. Sparked by the return of Rob Nielsen, UCLA took care of the Spartans 38-9. Nielsen was great in his return as he went 15-24 for 266 yards and 4 touchdowns. On the Michigan State side, Clyde Harp had 5 tackles.

Wisconsin beat up on LSU 34-11 to finish the season 11-1. Izulde Jestor received 2 carries and had 27 yards on them.

It was a tough game for Jace Hunter as he went 14-31 and threw a pick in a 23-20 loss to Iowa State.

Texas ended the season on a bad note, losing three straight as they lost 35-26 to Michigan. Moe Farley struggled as he went 11-26 for 188 yards, 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. He did run for 74 yards however.

Tennessee did not get invited to a bowl despite being bowl eligible.
